The fit was a little tighter than I anticipated but it was super comfortable, just the right length and really great quality of fabric. My fiancé loved it!

Love love love. Rented this for a palm beach themed wineries day out in the hamptons.  Very flattering and loved the colors. 

I ordered the 0 and the 2, and ended up wearing the 2. Fabric doesn't have any stretch, but nothing a pair of spanx didn't fix. Fully lined, comfy and classy. Great for spring! Lots of compliments. I think it runs a little small. Super cute, I felt great in it! 

I got so many compliments on this gorgeous dress. I was happy to see that the top was an off-white instead of pure white since I was wearing it to a wedding. Previous reviews were right - that middle band is tight. I'm glad I had the 6 as my back up as I couldn't zip the 4. 

I rented this for my niece's Baptism.. Very pretty dress and probably would have bought if I saw it in a store! I wore the 4, but probably could have worn the 6

I'm 5'3" and weight 110 lbs. Both size fit me perfect but size 2 left me about 1/2 inch room around the waist area so I felt better after I had a big meal.  If u measure under your breasts & it bigger than 27" size 0 might be too tight for u where the black belt is. Another thing I want to mention is the top is not white color ( like the picture of the model wearing it) but it still look good. I hope this help!!

I personally loved the fit but, for those going off the photo of the model, it probably won't be as loose on the hips/legs if you're a curvy woman (as you can see in my photo). If you're on the shorter side (I'm 5' 1''), it'll be a perfect length (I think it might fit like a mini for taller girls).

I wear a 6 in all dresses and this was true to size. I wore this to one of my bridal showers and it was a hit! Be warned- the "white" part up top isn't "white-white," it's more of an off-white/ivory color. Also, the dress has some slight shimmer to it in the lace. That definitely is not a con, I was just surprised when I opened it. Great dress!!

Wore this dress to a summer barn wedding. It was perfect for the occasion, as the entire dress has a lace overlay. I especially love the frilly piece on the right shoulder. Dress is true to size and fit my large bust

The black waistband rides lower than it appears in the photo; I was hoping it would be a little higher on the smallest part of my torso.  The 4 was way too small and wouldn't zip.  Thankfully I also got the 6 which zipped, but was still  snug - I felt like I had to suck in my stomach and I was pulling up the dress while we were dancing so it wasn't so tight at my waist. 

This dress for great! I was nervous because I'm pretty petite, and lily Pulitzer doesn't always fit great on me, even though I love the style. But this dress fit perfectly! I chose the 0 with the 2 as a backup but didn't need it. The neckline was a little high for me, and I wasn't sure about the ruffle, but once I put it on, i realized it was so classy. Definitely a great dress for a work or formal event.  Wish I could have worn it more and was sad to send it back. 

Wore the dress to a graduation party.  It was the perfect dress for summer.

Love this dress!  The colors are awesome def has the gold threading throughout but this adds a little sparkle which is nice.  It was a little tight on me around the rib cage area...debated on returning it for something else but really wanted to wear this and they didn't have an 8 available.  So I ate salads for the next couple days...it looked great but still a little tighter around the ribs, a larger size would have been more comfortable for me but don't people could tell it was tight as it didn't look like it at all.  Would def rent again!!!  

The fit was true to size.. I have a petite frame, and it fit well although didn't do anything special on my body. I did receive a lot of compliments, and it was definitely a cute pink dress for my daughter's 1st birthday party. Recommended for a casual occasion.

I really enjoyed this dress! I wore the 2 and in my opinion it ran pretty true to size. I am in agreement with the other reviewers that said the black waist band was tight....it was, but not to the point it was uncomfortable. It has a very delicate and girly feel! My only somewhat negative thing I can say was the top part of the dress was not the bright white shown on the model (or at least mine wasn't ) it was more of a off white/ivory color. Overall  it was perfect for my sister n law's shower and I was glad I choose to rent it! I am looking forward to more RTR dresses in the future! Also the free little draw string bag with gum, lotion & dress tape was a sweet surprise!! :

I was looking for a wedding shower dress, but was not a fan of the all white/ivory dresses as they looked too plain. I found this Lilly dress and thought it was the perfect compromise. The waist band was a tighter than the rest of the dress. Although I wore the 4, I think I would have been more comfortable in the 6  because of the waist band.

Wore to a retirement party and received lots of compliments.

As others said, the band across the waist is tight, but the dress is beautiful and fit great! I wore it to an engagement party and low-key backyard wedding which happened to be on the same day. It was dressy yet simple enough to be perfect for both. Tons of compliments! 

This dress was very comfortable and can be worn with a regular bra - yay! I would say it runs a bit on the smaller size but not enough to go a size up. I could tell this one had been worn a few times but I'm sure nobody else could. It's got a shimmer in it that doesn't translate on film-loved it!

Runs small--6 fit perfectly. Loved this dress. Very elegant but also comfy. Was perfect for an evening with a formal event and then an after party at a rooftop bar

I wore this dress for my bridal shower.  It was perfect and I received so many compliments!

I'm 5'2" and petite; I have difficulty finding dresses that not only fit but are the right length.  This dress was fit perfectly in all of the right places and was the right length (above the knee; not too short but not too long either - great for someone that is short in height!).  

This dress was absolutely perfect for a wedding rehearsal dinner. I'm only 5'3" so dresses are usually too long on me but this length was perfect and the belt was perfect for my waist. i could eat as much as I wanted and still breathe! Overall I felt so pretty, feminine and comfortable. I would highly recommend this dress! 

You can never go wrong with Lilly. I got so many compliments on the dress plus I ended up matching the wedding colors. I will definitely rent again and probably buy it. 

The 8 was a little big one me, I would have liked it to fit a little more snug.  A 6 would have fit better but they were all out, but the 8 looked great. There were no cons to this dress. It was absolutely gorgeous. I would definitely recommend this dress! :)

So, I ordered the 0 and the 2 and the first thing I noticed was the difference in the color of the white on top. The 0 looked faded but the 2 looked grey.  Both dresses had definitely seen better days. They fit pretty much the same with the 2 being a little bit longer. Both were pretty right around the rib cage area. The 0 had a slit in the back that went a little high but the 2 had no slit at all. Overall, I loved the dress so much I wore it two days in a row for different  events. 

I loved this dress, it was the perfect length and I could wear a regular bra. I wore the 2 instead of the 0 only because the black band was a little tight. I got tons of compliments on this dress. Would definitely recommend renting it. 

I loved this Lilly dress and was waiting for the perfect opportunity to rent it! The dress was extremely comfortable, cute, conservative, and perfect for the rather formal after bridal shower. I didn't want to give it back. I wore a black cardigan with black flats to complete the look. 

This dress fit my body PERFECTLY.  The waist is very fitted with no give at all, so I would take into account how large the meal you'll be eating is before choosing your size.  We had a 3 course pasta lunch, and by the end it was a touch snug ;).  I paired with nude shoes, and gold, cream and black accessories from Kate Spade.  One negative I have for the dress is , the slit in the back is definitely something you need to be mindful of when bending down.  I do have ample booty, so this may have something to do with this potential wardrobe faux pas.  Over all, I adored the dress and would rent again to wear in a different circle.

The 8 arrived and was snug around my thighs. I could have worn the 8, but it bunched a bit and looked unflattering. I called right away and a stylist had a 12 sent out right away (the 10 was not available). It fit and was very comfortable. Great experience for my first rental!

This was my first rental. I wore the dress for my engagement party. I received a lot of compliments. I usually wear a size 4 but I was only able to order a size 6 for the date I needed it by. Good thing I went with the 6. It felt big up top but the black band really makes it snug. I definitely suggest ordering a size up. Otherwise the dress was really comfy and perfect for the event! 

The fit is true to size! I'm a typical 12 but I'm chesty  (I wear a 32 G) this dress will work great for girls with a larger bust! 

I had a size 4 because size 2 was not available anymore by the time I ordered. Most the comments said that it runs small so I thought size 4 would fit perfectly. It did fit but still had some rooms around the waist. However, it is super comfortable and gorgeous!  

This was my first rental and I ordered it for my bridal shower. I got it in the mail early, packaged nicely with no wrinkles and in great condition. I got sizes 2 and 4. I coulda pulled off the 2 if I wanted a tighter fit but the 4 was perfect for a modest, elegant shower. The black band didn't have any stretch to it but it was in no way uncomfortable. Everyone loved it and I felt like a million bucks. I'm so sad to send this dress back. Will definitely be using Rent the Runway again. 

I rented this pretty, girly dress for an engagement party.  The dress was perfect for the night.  I wore it with some gold wedges since it has bits of sparkly gold intertwined in the lace.  I loved this dress and so did other people- I got lots of compliments as always when using RTR!  I have a 34D chest so the bust was a little tight but not anything that I couldn't stand.  I could have worn the 0 and really didn't see much of a difference between the 0 and the 2, but ending up wearing the 2 for a bit more length.  Great dress!

The fit was perfect and everyone told me how much they loved it all night!
