I am normally a size 4 and I felt like a 6 was a little bit tight but otherwise okay! Definitely order up a size

Love this dress! The colors are awesome def has the gold threading throughout but this adds a little sparkle which is nice. It was a little tight on me around the rib cage area...debated on returning it for something else but really wanted to wear this and they didn't have an 8 available. So I ate salads for the next couple days...it looked great but still a little tighter around the ribs, a larger size would have been more comfortable for me but don't people could tell it was tight as it didn't look like it at all. Would def rent again!!!

I really enjoyed this dress! I wore the 2 and in my opinion it ran pretty true to size. I am in agreement with the other reviewers that said the black waist band was tight....it was, but not to the point it was uncomfortable. It has a very delicate and girly feel! My only somewhat negative thing I can say was the top part of the dress was not the bright white shown on the model (or at least mine wasn't ) it was more of a off white/ivory color. Overall it was perfect for my sister n law's shower and I was glad I choose to rent it! I am looking forward to more RTR dresses in the future! Also the free little draw string bag with gum, lotion & dress tape was a sweet surprise!! :

I was looking for a wedding shower dress, but was not a fan of the all white/ivory dresses as they looked too plain. I found this Lilly dress and thought it was the perfect compromise. The waist band was a tighter than the rest of the dress. Although I wore the 4, I think I would have been more comfortable in the 6 because of the waist band.

Wore to a retirement party and received lots of compliments.

Runs small--6 fit perfectly. Loved this dress. Very elegant but also comfy. Was perfect for an evening with a formal event and then an after party at a rooftop bar

I wore this dress for my bridal shower. It was perfect and I received so many compliments! I'm 5'2" and petite; I have difficulty finding dresses that not only fit but are the right length. This dress was fit perfectly in all of the right places and was the right length (above the knee; not too short but not too long either - great for someone that is short in height!).

This dress was absolutely perfect for a wedding rehearsal dinner. I'm only 5'3" so dresses are usually too long on me but this length was perfect and the belt was perfect for my waist. i could eat as much as I wanted and still breathe! Overall I felt so pretty, feminine and comfortable. I would highly recommend this dress!

Great dress!

So, I ordered the 0 and the 2 and the first thing I noticed was the difference in the color of the white on top. The 0 looked faded but the 2 looked grey. Both dresses had definitely seen better days. They fit pretty much the same with the 2 being a little bit longer. Both were pretty right around the rib cage area. The 0 had a slit in the back that went a little high but the 2 had no slit at all. Overall, I loved the dress so much I wore it two days in a row for different events.

I loved this dress, it was the perfect length and I could wear a regular bra. I wore the 2 instead of the 0 only because the black band was a little tight. I got tons of compliments on this dress. Would definitely recommend renting it.

I loved this Lilly dress and was waiting for the perfect opportunity to rent it! The dress was extremely comfortable, cute, conservative, and perfect for the rather formal after bridal shower. I didn't want to give it back. I wore a black cardigan with black flats to complete the look.

The fit is true to size! I'm a typical 12 but I'm chesty (I wear a 32 G) this dress will work great for girls with a larger bust!

This was my first rental and I ordered it for my bridal shower. I got it in the mail early, packaged nicely with no wrinkles and in great condition. I got sizes 2 and 4. I coulda pulled off the 2 if I wanted a tighter fit but the 4 was perfect for a modest, elegant shower. The black band didn't have any stretch to it but it was in no way uncomfortable. Everyone loved it and I felt like a million bucks. I'm so sad to send this dress back. Will definitely be using Rent the Runway again.

I rented this pretty, girly dress for an engagement party. The dress was perfect for the night. I wore it with some gold wedges since it has bits of sparkly gold intertwined in the lace. I loved this dress and so did other people- I got lots of compliments as always when using RTR! I have a 34D chest so the bust was a little tight but not anything that I couldn't stand. I could have worn the 0 and really didn't see much of a difference between the 0 and the 2, but ending up wearing the 2 for a bit more length. Great dress!

I absolutely loved this dress! I was on the fence because other ladies said the dress runs small. This is very true. I am normally a size 6 but the 8 felt a little tight around the black belt area. The dress does not stretch. The dress was not as short as the model, it was actually the perfect length. This dress made me feel very small and petite :)

The dress was true to size. I had put on a few pounds that week (work thanksgiving celebrations and my birthday) so it was a little snugger then it normally would have been on me. It was great at extenuating my curves in the right place and hid an extra food baby bumps. It was really comfortable to wear and I could move around easily in it.

I usually wear a 2 in dresses. I had rented the 4 as a back up and didn't even bother trying it on. The 2 fit like a glove. Hits you in all the right places. Not too short. Very classy for a wedding or summer event. Super comfy!

I wore this dress to a spring bridal shower. I usually wear a size 5/6 or 7/8 and I could've fit the 6, but it was a lil snug in the waist at the black waist band. The 8 felt much better and I had more room to move. It was in great condition when it arrived and I love how easy the return process is. I would definitely recommend this dress to others.

This dress has a gold shimmer to it, which to me made it even more fancy. I wore the size 12, and it was a little loose in the top, but fit well around my hips/butt, and that's how most dresses fit me. I really liked it!

Last week was my first time renting from RTR, it was so great, today I made my second rental. I'm 5-1, petite build, so finding a dress that isn't too long on me is always a challenge, but this dress was perfect. I'm usually a size 0 and I'd say this dress was true to size. As you can see in my picture, the dress fell slightly above my knee, was definitely not as short as how it looks on the model. The black waist line is not stretchy, this wasn't a problem for me, but I'd order a size up if you're concerned just to be safe. The dress has a hint of gold throughout, this would have been really cute paired with gold shoes/clutch/accessories.

I absolutely love the color of this dress. It was a perfect fit. I wore it to my college graduation and it was raining so I kept my graduation gown on most of the time. However, everyone who saw the dress loved it. I wore a pair of black wedges with it as the ceremony was outdoors. I accented it with the AV Max glitzy glamour cuff. I didn't even want to take if off when I got home.

This dress was great! It is super cute for a spring event. I love the lace and the shimmer details on the lace. The dress fit me great! I was worried about the black band because others said it didn't stretch but I had a good inch left and I measure a 31" where the band set under my bust. I'm really short 5'1" so I chose this dress because it looked shorter than the others. I tend to have other dresses make me look matronly because the length is so long. I also have curvy hips and a bigger bust which wasn't a problem in this dress. I got all kinds of compliments on the dress. The top has a silver shimmer in it and the bottom has a gold shimmer. I chose to accessorize with gold but you really could go either way.

SUCH a cute dress! The skirt has a gold metallic element to it, and the asymmetrical ruffle detail on the bodice area is cute and unexpected. Lilly tends to run big if anything, but I thought this had a nice fit and it was super flattering! Great for a baby shower or pretty much any event where you want to have a touch of girliness.

The lace has a beautiful gold sheen that I played up with my accessories. The black ribbon at the waist was fitted, which made the dress difficult to slip on but very flattering! The dress appeared flawless right out the bag and hit me at mid-thigh.

Loved it. Very comfortable with just enough stretch to dance away all night.

As others said, the band across the waist is tight, but the dress is beautiful and fit great! I wore it to an engagement party and low-key backyard wedding which happened to be on the same day. It was dressy yet simple enough to be perfect for both. Tons of compliments!

This dress was very comfortable and can be worn with a regular bra - yay! I would say it runs a bit on the smaller size but not enough to go a size up. I could tell this one had been worn a few times but I'm sure nobody else could. It's got a shimmer in it that doesn't translate on film-loved it!

You can never go wrong with Lilly. I got so many compliments on the dress plus I ended up matching the wedding colors. I will definitely rent again and probably buy it.

The 8 was a little big one me, I would have liked it to fit a little more snug. A 6 would have fit better but they were all out, but the 8 looked great. There were no cons to this dress. It was absolutely gorgeous. I would definitely recommend this dress! :)
