Subtle perfection

Light summery fun
This isn't my favorite striped romper that I've scored from RTR but it was fun and flirty for summer. My only complaint was that it required quite a bit of fashion tape to keep the chest closed, but other than that it was fantastic. Fits true to size and great for swimmers/athletic builds.

I expected this to be a bulkier, bigger sweater and was surprised to find that it was a next to skin thin piece. It runs INCREDIBLY small. I have very wide shoulders and large biceps and the medium barely fit me. Definately size up!

Strange annoying fit
The arms and front panels are significantly longer than the back panel, which is cropped quite short and hard to tell from the photos. As a result, it slid off my shoulders constantly and wouldn't stay on properly. Not my favorite piece I've rented.

Hilarious and warm

I got a TON of compliments on this jumpsuit, which is gorgeous. The material is thick and lays beautifully. It looks like a dress, feels like a romper and has pockets. I am a swimmer and have VERY broad shoulders and ribcage and the back panel was a little loose on me still. Has pockets. I would def rent again!

Great trim fun features
This dress fits true to size and is super fun. I wore it for a fun night out on the town in NOLA and adored the great trim and features. It's a heavier material so it lays nice - may not be the best for a hot summer southern night though. I'm athletic with broad shoulders and this fit well and true to size.

Derek Lam is my new fave
I'm loving the Derek Lam shift dresses! They fit great, the material is light enough for summer wear but structured enough to give it a great fit and style. The details are always surprising and complimentary. I've already worn this a number of times and I haven't exhausted uses for it! I love everything about it and it's great for athletic types!

Great everyday summer dress!
I loved this dress. I ran into a few other people wearing mara hoffman on the same weekend as well, which made it feel like a secret club. This was a perfect summer music festival dress and it can be worn without an issue with a racerback bra. I have large athletic wide shoulders and this dress fit me super well.

Warm, cozy, understated style
When the coat I really wanted for my trip to Paris wasn't available, I settled on this one as all the reviews raved about it's warmth. They weren't lying! I used it on an almost month long trip in London and Paris in the dead of winter and it kept me warm and cozy the entire trip. It was a great choice and the leather details give it some restrained but well proportioned style.

Cute but stiff
This runs super large - I could have even gone with a 40. I have broad shoulders and an athletic body so it fit me pretty well and gave me some shape, but for my other friend who also had this dress at the same time, she needed a loose western belt to give it some shape. I think you can go either way, but you need to size down regardless.

Flattering even if ya have a rear

I ordered a 6 but the shoulders were too tight for me to wear. If you have a straight and narrow body type, this will work fine for you, but if you are athletic, or a swimmer or cross-fitter, I wouldn't recommend this one.
