Odd fit
This is a beautiful dress—very high-quality cotton—but it fit so oddly on me that I didn't actually wear it. The chest was tight, and the skirt part made my hips look huge.

Loved it so much I bought it!
I rented this dress twice before I decided to buy it. It seemed like it was made just for me. It was a perfect fit, and I love the contrast stitching. I feel chic and sophisticated when I wear it. AND it's great for transitional weather, so I can wear it in spring and in fall, layering with blazers or even sweaters. It was not too overwhelming for my petite frame. As I said, I felt like it was made for me. So good.

Perfect sweater for spring
I have worn this sweater as often as I could without wearing it every single day. It is a great sweater for transitional spring weather--not too heavy, not too light. It's very Coastal Chic. I paired it with jeans mostly and wore it for casual outings. I got my usual XS size and it did not overwhelm my petite frame. I considered buying it, but decided I wanted to try other navy striped sweaters on RTR first.

Boxy camp shirt for casual ease
I really liked this top. It was slightly oversized on my petite frame, but I think it is meant to be worn that way. It was a boxy, throw-on-and-go kind of top. I wore it buttoned up and open like a jacket. The only reason I won't rent it again is because the color wasn't great with my skin tone. It kind of washed me out. I have fair skin with pink undertones.

Great transitional sweater between seasons
This is a great transitional sweater, but the color was wrong for me. I still wore it because it's beautiful and comfortable, but now I know to avoid this color going forward. The length was good for my petite frame. I rented my usual size, and it fit great.

I should have known--the jeans look large already--but they were huge. The inseam came well past my feet so that not even heels would have made them work. They are super cute, though, and I wish all who wear them fabulous outings.

Great winter sweater
This sweater was perfect as I traveled around Canada during the winter. I wore it several times during my trip, and each time I felt stylish while staying warm. My only minor complaint is that for my petite frame, it does feel quite heavy, but it's hard to complain about that when I'm staying warm when it's snowing outside.

Stylish and fit petites well
If I'm honest with myself, these weren't my dream pants. They were cute and stylish and fit my petite frame well, but as I sat down to write this review, I realized they didn't stand out as spectacular. It might be the pants, but it might've been my mood when I wore them. I want to rent them again later and try again.

Perfect throw on and go sweater
As a petite, this sweater had a little bit of an oversized look to it, but I went with it as that is the style these days. I wore it almost every other day for so many casual occasions. I suppose it could be dressed up as well, but given its size, it felt more casual to me.

Overwhelmed my petite frame
What a gorgeous sweater. It's heavy and warm and a nice pop of color on a winter day. But I couldn't wear it out of the house because my petite body got lost in it. Had it come in one or two sizes smaller, I would have loved it.

Super cute, super big for petites
I love the look of this sweater vest, but I couldn't make it work. When I put it on, I swam in it and felt sloppy, so I didn't wear it out of the house. It's big all over--shoulders, length, bust. My petite frame just couldn't pull it off.

I loved it so much I bought it!
This has been one of my favorite rentals of the year. I loved it so much that I bought it! I wore it all the time--concerts, date nights, etc. In many ways, it's a classic skirt that goes with everything, but the vegan leather material makes it a little extra special. Really good for petites.

Almost bought this one.
It took everything in me to send this one back, but I finally decided that I needed to try all the options RTR offers before committing to the price of this jacket. It is such a great style, going with so many things--jeans, pants, skirts, and over dresses. I wore this jacket constantly. Petite Happy Dance
As a petite, it is a rare joy to find pants that fit so well from waist to ankle. These fit perfectly, and I wore them often, pairing them with black sweaters and cream tops, as well as a variety of jacket styles to layer for winter. They are unlined and a bit thin for this time of year (December), but I run hot, so I didn't mind.

Unique blouse, good for petites.
It's hard to find fun blouses, but this is one. Being sort of olivey, it also pairs with a lot of different colors and can be dressed up or down. It is a little blousy but not oversized. As a petite, blouses can be too long and bulky, but this was perfectly sized. I wore it with jeans for a night out to the movies and felt both comfortable and put-together. I would rent this one again in a heartbeat.

Classic skirt, good for petites
I'm between a 0 and 2 and tried it in both sizes. The 0 was just a little too tight, and the 2 was perfect. It wasn't too long on my petite frame, but I have a shorter torso and longer legs. I wore this for date night paired with a black mock turtleneck and knee-high boots and topped with a cream coat. Felt very chic. If I rent it again, I'll try my beige v-neck cropped sweater with it.

I tried this wool blazer/jacket in a few different settings—brunch with jeans and an evening show with a skirt—and it worked well for both. During a winter in Seattle, with temperatures in the 40s, it was perfect for layering over sweaters or lighter tops. The cropped length makes it great for petites, though the sleeves were a touch long on me. Overall, I liked this jacket a lot—it’s a versatile wardrobe staple—but not quite enough to buy it.

Great basic dress with a little sparkle woven in.
I took this on a trip to NYC and wore it all over town for a variety of events. I also wore it at home to a jazz club. I paired it with a blazer sometimes, and other times I wore a long-sleeve button-down top under it. Once, when the weather worked out, I wore it sleeveless. This dress fits so many different occasions; it would make a great staple, and I may purchase it at some point. The fit was ideal--no tight spots, no overly large. When I wore it, I felt put together.

A little short even on my petite frame, but still loved it.
This is a fun, whimsical dress that made me feel put together for a night at the ballet and another night out to dinner with the hubby. It is a bit short. There were moments when I felt almost exposed, but I think those moments were in my head. Still, I kept swinging my arm behind me to make sure the back hadn't ridden up. Overall, the dress is lovely, and I recommend it, especially for petite ladies looking for something that makes you feel tall. Ha ha!

Another great petite option
These jeans arrived in my RTR bag with tags still on, so it was a thrill to wear them new. They are easy to dress up and down and have a sort of barrel leg, making them modern and trendy. Happily, the 25 fit well in the waist, though I could have sized up to 26 and been happier. When I went to dinner with friends and ate too much food, I wished I'd had the 26. Finally, if your inseam is shorter, you may love these even more than I do. At 27", they hit right below my ankles. Personally, I wish they'd either be about two inches longer to go full-length for my inseam, or they were about two inches shorter to look more like the model, but I still loved the jeans and have worn them over and over again.

This is a great blazer for transitional weather. It's lightweight and stretchy, so it doesn't work with bulkier layers unless you're layering something on top of the blazer itself. Fun summer top. Cropped for petites.
What a fun, casual top! It's a little bit Margaritaville, a little bit California beach comber--maybe those are the same thing? Either way, I had fun wearing it. I rented this toward the end of summer, so I didn't get to wear it as much as I might have had the temperatures remained warm. It is the perfect top for Saturday errands or an afternoon event--lightweight, a little bit cheeky, made me smile. I am petite, but this was slightly short on me. High-waist jeans or skirt, or even layered over a dress, is a must unless you prefer showing your midriff, which I don't do anymore because of how I feel about that part of my body these days.

I enjoyed this sweater. It's a good, cropped-ish length for my petite frame. It was also a perfect layering piece for early fall--not too heavy, not too light. Great staple, good for petites.
I took these on a trip with me to travel across Germany in the fall. Overall, they worked well with so many things in my suitcase, but because they're cotton, they did start to wrinkle in a frumpy way after several wears. Even so, I loved the length and the fit around my waist and hips. As a petite, it is hard to find proper inseams, but I liked the look of the slightly too-long inseam.

Almost bought it
This dress is a true summer staple for so many outings. I wore it out to a nice restaurant for dinner and on a dinner cruise on the lake. It fit like a dream--cinching in at the waist and flowing out from my hips, covering the part of me I like least (my tummy). I wore it with cream-colored heeled sandals and a wide tan belt on one occasion, and on another, I wore brown oxfords and the brown belt. One was a classy look, the other was more casual and relaxed. I came so close to buying this dress but ultimately decided to return it because I didn't want to get tired of it. I plan on renting it again in the future.

Perfect summer dress
I wore this dress to a fun after-work event and dinner with my husband. We walked all over town in sunny, 75-degree weather, and I was perfectly comfortable. I am petite but the proportions of the dress were spot-on. It was almost as if the dress was made to fit my body type. That said, the waist was mildly tight when I first put it on, but it wasn't too tight. There is a tiny snap at the waist to keep all the buttons aligned, whether I am sitting or standing. After I ate dinner, that snap kept coming undone! Ha ha! Otherwise, the dress fit like a dream.

These pants are really fun for spring and summer. Surprising fit for petite!
This top is a bit long, but it fits everywhere else. I tuck in the front and let the back be long, and it looks great! This particular shirt has a little wear on it, which is why I didn't give it 5 stars, but otherwise, it is a fun top worthy of so many different occasions.

It makes me so happy to say that this gorgeous dress, which can be dressed up or down, paired with pants, or worn on its own, is perfect for petites. I don't get to say that often. As I write this, I haven't sent the dress back to RTR. I'm contemplating buying it. Just so many ways to wear it for so many different occasions. Its shine does make it more "date-worthy" or "wedding-worthy," but I think it could be paired with jeans, and it would be fun to wear to a lunch or brunch.
