Black Metallic Charley Dress

Really happy with the fit of this dress! Snug enough under the bust to show shape but flowy enough to be comfy all day.

This was the perfect dress for my organization’s sneaker ball. This dress fit well (I got the size I normally wear) and was flattering. Pockets would have made it perfect.

I’m very partial to Lauren by Ralph Lauren. They have been some of my favorite pieces and this one is no exception. The dress is fitted without being overly tight. It doesn’t have a whole lot of give, but it’s still very comfortable and was made for curvy girls. It was so flattering and I felt so good wearing this dress!

This is my second time renting this dress. I need to just buy it. It can come off as pretty basic, but if you just style it a little, it perks right up. Hence the red patent shoes and belt here. It’s comfortable and fits well. Perfect for an event that was “cocktail/office” attire.

This dress is so beautiful in the most simple way. Very flattering cut, and the slight shimmer to the fabric is very subtle but gives it just a little something. I didn't wear it for the wedding I rented it for, it felt a bit basic for that event, but I would absolutely rent this again. The size 12 felt just slightly big.

I grabbed this as a backup for a wedding I had and ended up going with my original pick. I liked this one enough to wear to a dinner with friends, though. It fits great, is just a little long and feels pretty conservative (I'm 5'7).

I am a true 14 & the dress fit true to size. I wore it to a banquet & was comfortable all night. It fit beautifully & though it was very modest, it gave me a nice shape. I'm just about 5'3" and with heels it hit mid shin, which was a little too long for me. A very true midi dress for my short girls. I was a bit disappointed that the dresses I received were not nearly as metallic or sparkly as they appeared in the description photos or even in some of the other reviews.

The fit was great! Fabric was stretchy enough for my large bust, length was perfect, fabric wasn't clingy!

Fits really well, you need a skinny bra otherwise it shows on the sides. Really elegant!

I rented four dresses for a Christmas cruise and this was my favorite and most flattering. I'm normally a size 14 so size up ladies because even a 16 was tight with a shaper.

This dress still had tags on when it arrived! I wore this to the theater in December and wanted something a little festive. The shimmer made this basic dress feel more special. I did think it was a little boring on the hanger but my husband loved it, so I added a belt and a jacket to accessorize. Not the most flattering photo and my arm is covering the belt, but with a little effort, it worked. Size was slightly large and I definitely needed the belt.

It's a basic little black dress. The sheen and cut make it feel youthful. It wasn't as flattering as I'd hoped for. True to size. Shelter in place happened so I didn't get to wear it out.

I wore this with a cropped tweed jacket to a Christmas Eve service. Very nice & comfortable. The material is a bit stretchy, and the length was appropriate for the occasion!

I took this on a trip to NYC and wore it all over town for a variety of events. I also wore it at home to a jazz club. I paired it with a blazer sometimes, and other times I wore a long-sleeve button-down top under it. Once, when the weather worked out, I wore it sleeveless. This dress fits so many different occasions; it would make a great staple, and I may purchase it at some point. The fit was ideal--no tight spots, no overly large. When I wore it, I felt put together.

I loved this dress so much I bought it. I’m pear-shaped, so I’m a 10 on top and a 12 on bottom. It is SLIGHTLY big in the bust, but not terrible. It’s definitely a staple. And the shimmery fabric is just subtle enough to be great for work or party.

This dress is a nice black dress that can be made more dressy or dressed down some. The little bit of sparkle adds a touch of bonus fun. Love the way it lays on my wider hips and fuller belly (after kids). Pockets would be the only thing missing!

Wore to a work dinner then again for a charity brunch. Easy to dress up or down and great length for all occasions.

The dress fit true to size and I'm actually considering purchasing it, it is perfect. The shimmer is just enough, doesn't look cheap. I was very pleased with this whole process and will be renting again.

Not much else to say. I needed a dress that I could wear a normal bra with. It was fitted in all the right places for me. And the length was great for a winter/colder weather wedding.

Fitted just right, and there was a bit of extra give around the waist (perfect for my events where a meal was involved).

This dress is comfortable and flattering. I maybe could have even sized down, but knowing that I have a little extra wiggle room is nice. The subtle shimmer is a nice touch, but I feel like the dress is a little plain. I'm hoping to step it up with a belt or something. This would be a great dress to have on hand that could be dressed up or down depending on the event.

This was a lightweight dress that looked great AND was comfortable all night long. Could style a lot of ways. I wore it to a formal Christmas party and it worked great!

I enjoyed this dress, the fit was a little which I didn't mind as it meant I didn't feel as self conscious as I usually would. The dress is also more modest than I usually wear but not stuffy feeling. I would have loved this if it were more sparkly- I am a sparkle and glitter kind of gal so I was a little disappointed that it was not prettier in person. However, given that it worked for me otherwise I can't really complain. Another success with RTR, so nice to have this option for dress up type events. I do not own many dresses myself so it is wonderful to have so many options in sizes and designers.

It was a little tight in the rib cage but other than that was a great dress for work

I am petite hour glass/ pear shaped. I am a size small or x s and ordered the 0/2. I wore the 0. My top is usually a size smaller than my bottom which was perfect for this Aline dress. It was comfortable to wear all night. The fabric up close has a sheen or silver thread running through it in an understated way. I would much prefer to wear a dress like this that I don't have to stand up straight in all night. I wore it to a black tie optional work party. Perfect/Classy with a pop of jewelry.

Classic dress, very flattering. You can't go wrong with a Ralph Lauren. I got the 18R and probably could have used the 16. Overall, very simple but very elegant.
