Simply Beautiful LBD!
This surprised me as one of my favorite and most complimented rentals to date. It is simple, yet really stunning. I'm normally a 4, maybe a 2, but size 6 was the best fit for this one at the bust line. I would say the rest of the fit was true to size, but you may want to size up if you are a "C" or above. Lengthwise, I am 5'7" and the regular length was just skimming above the floor in my 3" heels. Pin the straps once adjusted to keep them hooked all night. It's gorgeous.

I rented this as part of my Unlimited Subscription and absolutely love this top - the quality, fit, materials and color are outstanding. The tie-sleeves are cuter and much more interesting in person than most of the photos show. If you are thinking about this one, you will not be disappointed. So cute, I think I'm going to buy this one!

Where to start with this one... it's slighty deeper tones than in the picture - it runs a size small - very fitted in the waist and hips. Perfect lenght with beautiful movement in both the skirt and lovely sleeves. My first try was small and second, too large, but i wore it anyway - twice! It's rare for me to say, but this is like wearing a piece of art. It is such an interesting print on luscious, high-quality material - people will stare, fascinated by the designs which are both vibrant and yet subtle as an overall effect. I placed a brooch over the 'mouth' for a business affair, but at a private party, I'd let it rock. Love this designer.

It's all in the details with this one
Size up unless you are a very slender build, but prepare to really love this dress. Trimmer cut at the top - might be snug for a larger than D chest or fuller shoulders. The style could span many seasons, but it is a heavier, textured material. Beautiful lines and some stretch; the black piping makes the dress. I loved it!

Gorgeous On-trend Dress!!
True navy blue, excellent quality, heavier material, fully-lined. Some stretch, hit me at the knee, (I'm 5'7"+) true-to-size and hugs the body. The cold-shoulder sleeves aren't too restrictive and the front and back are equally interesting. The back is pretty low, a stick-on bra will probably work best. Gorgeous, sophisticated, yet fun dress. I'll definitely rent this one again.

Very Audrey Hepburn
This LBD dress is perfect. It is a tad on the larger side of true to size, but a gorgeous fit. I wore it to an industry holiday party and felt fantastic; it's consertvative enough for business, but party-sexy enough to give you confidence and sass. Hit me right at the knee; substantial fabric and lined. I'll definitely rent this one again.

This dress is beautiful - the style is hot and sleeves are as interesting and eye-catching as you'd hope. It's body-con, but double lined, so not terribly unforgiving. Loved it, but had to like, triple knot the ties and sometimes tuck them in to keep them from getting in everything...lol. It was an awesome look at happy hour when I was simply standing, serenely holding a wine glass... It would be a great winter date night dress! Hit me at the knee - I'm 5'8, size small fit; I wouldn't go smaller - I'm a chubby 2/4 right now. (Too many happy hours...ha!)

Desk to dinner!
This dress is prettier on than even pictures would suggest. Its a heavy crepe and the details are lovely. I wore it during the day with boots and a structured-style black crepe jacket and at a holiday party later with heels. The cut makes it both a little sexy and also modestly conservative. I'd say if you're under 5'3" it'll be pretty long on the longer side, which could change the look; good news for taller women, it could be a nice proportion for someone several inches taller than I, (I'm just under 5'8"). It's not long-waisted, however. The bustline area is fuller because the styling is gathered - nice for any figure. Super cute! I'll rent this one again, for sure!

Wore another dress, but wow...
I have looked at this dress forever and finally decided to try it for a formal affair. I choose another, but this dress delighted me in many ways. If I could change one thing, this piece would be made of a more substantial material. It has been loved a lot, so it puckers a bit, looks a little worn without touch-up steaming, and is a bone-white, not winter white or cream. If I'm going edgy, visual quality has to be spot-on, but this dress is still a stunner -- I loved how the cut and style looked and wished I had more time to perfect the overall ensemble. It is definitely worth a try if you think you'll love it, just build in a day or two to pull together and polish your overall look.

I loved this dress so much I may have to buy it!! It's flattering and eye-catching. Not a very thick knit, but I liked it that way. For my height, it hit right below knee-length.

Rockin' fuchsia in a sea of black...
I am an hourglass size 2-4 in most gowns and this dress was perfect in the size 4R I rented. I paired it with black accessories, including 4" heels, (I'm ~5'8"). There was just enough extra room for the dress to be flattering and drape perfectly. The color is gorgeous fuchsia pink - not hot pink. The top stayed up without 'tugging' and the slit was cut just right; down from the hip to flash leg, and not too revealing when sitting. Even prettier in person, it's one of those remarkable gowns that is at the same time sexy, classy, eye-catching and extremely comfortable. I felt amazing in this dress and it made my evening twice as much fun!

Fantastic dress!
I rented this dress before there were any other reviews as part of my Unlimited subscription and it arrived (super quickly :) with the tags still on... Its true to size / a little large as I'm taller and a fairly curvy size 2, and it fits beautifully! The two-piece construction is interesting and much more flattering than the listing pictures suggest. The slip hits me several inches above my knee and the overdress just above the knee with the curved hem longer at the sides and back - really lovely. I paired it with a structured business jacket and heels, but this piece could go more casual, too! Absolutely love this dress!!

Gorgeous, casual shirt
This shirt is so beautiful; the silk is a soft black and prints are lovely. It definitely runs a size large ; I'm normally a size 2-4 shirt and the xsmall is still large on me. That said, I love the way it drapes and the shoulders fit perfectly. I rented this for everyday wear and a two- week vacation. I rolled/unrolled this shirt and wore it three times. Very versatile dressy or casual depending on bottoms and accessories. You'll love it!

Perfect shirt!
This shirt is adorable. It fit me perfectly; I wouldn't normally think of myself as an xsmall shirt, so I'd say this style runs a little large. The colors are versatile, material is nice; it drapes beautifully and the buttons on the sleeves make them cute rolled up, cuffed with a sweater or buttoned. I took this on a two-week vacation to Ireland and it rolled/unrolled and looked great with a couple spritzes of wrinkle-release. I am strongly considering buying this shirt!

This dress is exactly as others have described. It is true to size and would be a nice maternity style given the empire waist. On me, it was cute, but not terribly flattering. The blue fabric is lovely.

Wanted to love it...
This dress is such a cute design with beautiful fabric and prints... and I loved pictures of it on others. For me to make it work however, would have required a dozen pins and that kind of ruins the point of the style. It runs large and I may try a smaller size. If you're a smaller bust size this dress may work better. On me, one side hung one way, the other, completely differently, but not in a cute way - in a bizarre "where are my dozen pins?" way. It went back unworn.

Cold Shoulder Stunner
This dress is super hot! The color is as luscious as you hope it will be and the quality, superb. I rate it four stars because this dress will only flatter certain types of upper body builds. The sleeves are very tight for the dress size. If you have any doubt your arms will be too big, or bulge awkwardly, be prepared with another style. I'm trim, but have muscular arms; it looked okay, but wasn't very comfortable. The dress itself was fantastic... So! If you have slender arms, this is your dress of the moment -- if you can bench your boyfriend's weight, or conversely, have ignored your triceps in the past few months...have a backup or hide the sleeves in your bra ;-)

This dress is stunning. At a thousand-person event it literally stopped conversations as I passed. It's trendy, sexy and classy all at the same time. Pretty standing still, interesting in motion, the scoop back is to die for, the sleeves and hemline, adorable. I'm 5'7 and 125 lbs and the small was almost too big. The hemline hit me with the ruffle right below my the knees. A simple black velvet diamond choker and d'Orsay stilettos - done. I want to buy this dress I loved it so much!!!

Very sexy dress - best for a small chest ;)
I rented both the 6 and 8. Both fit beautifully on the bottom, but the top of this dress is not for a full C or larger cup unless you are comfortable showing the undersides of your breasts. This was reported in other reviews, but such a sexy dress, I had to try it. Didn't wear due to the nature of my event; a private affair would have been another matter lol. Especially if you are an A or B cup and are thinking about this one - rent it! Solace London is so hot and this is one of their nicest designs!!

Interesting details - beautiful color!
This dress is gorgeous, but may not look or feel as you expect from the pictures, so keep an open mind. It is has softer detailing and more of a vintage+new look than the pictures suggest. I actually liked that about it - I would have loved wearing this, but ordered two for an event, and the other came together better. Love the color and cut. This would work on a variety of girly shapes. If you're a redhead, have green or hazel eyes, think seriously about this dress if it appeals to you. It is lovely!

Amazing Gown!
This is my favorite rental to date! The material and fit of this gown are what take it to the next level. The color is deeper and more complex than the photos can show; it stands out in a sea of black, yet retains a very sexy edge on a definitively feminine cut. Great for an hourglass or curvy shape, this dress would also give curve to a straighter figure. Didn't need tug or adjust at all. Fun to wear and comfortable to move around in. Could have accessorized numerous ways and with many different accent colors -- sorry I don't have a picture since I loved this dress. I would buy this one and will definitely rent it again!

Flattering fit; beautiful color!
This is a gorgeous dress that delivers the designers noted top quality and fit through a design and color combination which is all at once feminine, sexy, refined and striking. It is true to size, but sizing down will give you that 'pulled in' effect Herve dresses are known for. In the size I wore, the dress followed my curves, but was not tight. The effect was very nice. Pros: the fit and length are spot on, the neckline and cut of the straps are an attractive design which stayed up all evening. The detail and flare of the hemline makes this dress special. Cons: there really are no cons, but if you have a full bust, this dress will put that aspect of your figure front and center. For a wedding or formal where you'll see business associates - if you want something sexy-conservative, consider this dress more on the daring side :)

Designer look, interesting details - bit of an odd fit.
Pros: this dress has pockets; a cute and very cool feature! The top of the dress is beautifully cut and true to size. The neckline is killer and it will flatter any chest size or shape. The quality of this piece shines through on the top especially. Cons: this dress is an odd one on the bottom, but not in an entirely bad way. Long is very long. I'm between 5'7 and 8, wore 5" heels, and the hem still brushed the floor. The skirt is heavy satin - gorgeous material and lots of it. The odd part involves the bow, which is the signature element of the dress. It hangs from one hip to just past your navel on the other side, but there is an awkward seam that droops right were you want the dress to look best. Remedy: pin the odd fold up in place from inside the dress so it hangs right, and it looks beautiful. This dress is pretty well loved, and particular gals might consider it needing a steam press, so prepare for that if you rent this gown. I wore this dress on a snowy night to an inaugural ball. I topped it with a fitted cropped cashmere sweater and a statement necklace on a black silk cord. Wish I had a picture. It was a good overall look and I felt great in it all night. I would not rent this one again, but would love to replicate certain elements.

"Where's that Green Dress-?"
Truly a dress that can bring the "wow" factor both day and night. Hugs your curves, but the design works for a curvy or straighter figure. The color and shoulder styling are what make the dress special. The shoulder can be worn as seen on the model, or allowed to lay like a variation of a cowl neck; I left it this way during the day, and lowered it across my shoulders at an awards dinner. It will drift upward with movement, but adjusting it isn't a big deal and it's an intriguing and feminine action that gets attention not at all unpleasant. The color is as lovely as you'll hope; a standout in a sea of black. I'm considering trying to purchase this dress, I like it so much.

I wore this dress throughout a day of combined work events culminating with an after-hours networking party that my company sponsored. I absolutely loved this dress - it fits beautifully - smoothly following your curves; the quality is outstanding, and it is striking in that "not trying, but I'm definitely the It Girl in this room" kind of way. The material is forgiving, and warm for the winter. The seaming of the back is a flattering surprise. But without a doubt the shoulder zippers feature are what make this dress special. They're styling genius. The best part was when my VIP client friend finally had to ask about the shoulder zippers..."now, do these actually work??" It's a fun dress. Will definitely rent it again.
