Cute but SO short!
Yes, I'm tall, but this would be short on a much shorter person, too. If it were at least 6 inches longer (preferably more than that!) it would have been perfect. I couldn't wear it in public.

Perfect fit!
I wore this dress to give an important presentation and I felt like I was wearing Wonder Woman armor (in the best way possible). It was a perfect fit, and the seaming was very flattering. It would have been a tad bit too short for me without tights, but since it's freezing outside, that's no big deal!

A 12 in Black Halo usually fits me like a glove, but I was swimming in this dress. It's too bad, because it otherwise is a very cute dress!

Great fit!
This is a great work dress, and it was also comfortable. I wore it on a whirlwind work trip from DC to Michigan, which was a total of 7 hours on an airplane and 4 hours of meetings. The dress still looked great at the end of the day!

Leg slit a bit high for everyday wear.
I wish this had a zipper so it had a more tailored fit. The colors are gorgeous, but I found the slit far too high to wear to work or even to a day out with my family. It hit mid higher than mid-thigh (and could be due to my height, so take that into consideration if you're reading this!).

This is a little low cut for work, so I paired it with a cardigan to have the illusion of more coverage. However, it fit *perfectly* and I'll definitely rent it again! Very cute! Can be dressed up or down.

Cute colors and great fit; not great material, though.
I'm not a big fan of the new material Black Halo is using for some of their dresses. It looks and feels much cheaper than it costs. I would definitely not pay $400 for this dress, as cute as the fit and colors are. You can see the stitching in the hem and you shouldn't be able to. ALL THAT BEING SAID, this is a pretty cute dress and the colors are wonderful. Glad to rent it on RTR and not pay for it.

I couldn't wear this dress.
While the fabric is beautiful, this was a really weird fit. Black Halo usually fits me like a glove, but this dress has an odd waist seam that goes up in the middle, making even my fairly flat stomach look like it did when I was 5 months pregnant. Not great, Bob.

Unfortunately, the color of the dress is EXTREMELY muted and muddy compared to what's shown online.
The dress actually fit decently, but the colors are extremely muted and sadly don't look much like the photograph.

Perfect holiday dress!
I love this dress so much that I'm considering buying a brand new version of the dress. The details are awesome: the slip has a band of black lace around the bottom that peeks out PERFECTLY when you are seated. I wore this throughout the holiday season and I apologize (kind of!) for hoarding it all of November and December!

The neckline is beautiful.
Pros: the neckline is dramatic and beautiful, and the top fit me perfectly. Cons: the fabric wrinkles very easily and the waist was about 2 inches too high on me. If the waist had been in the right place, I would've bought this on the spot!

Wasn't long enough in the torso
From the front, this dress looked PERFECT. However, the back gave me a tail because the rear end of the dress was at the small of the back! Not great for a tall girl.

As part of the RTR Unlimited, I received size 10 dresses from 4 different designers. I realize that every cut is different, but this one was SO SMALL, I couldn't even zip it. It was too bad, because the design and fabric is very nice.
