Unflattering fit
The dress fit, but the cut of the bodice/skirt made it look like an empire waistline. Totally unflattering. A huge miss.

Too Short!
This dress *BARELY* covered my goodies. If I were wearing it and sneezed--there'd be some flashing going on. I am not one to shy away from mini skirts--this is truly that short. I even have a short torso! I can't imagine it on someone with a long torso.

Way too low cut for work
This dress was ridiculously low cut. My entire chest was out! I am disappointed because I love the print, but could not wear this to my work event.

Would not button up over my bust. I sized up to a 6 and this would still not close over my chest. I found the sleeve length to be awkward.

Cute and work appropriate
I sized up to a M to accommodate my larger chest. Thankfully, it fit my chest perfectly--the tradeoff was that the waist was not as fitted as I would have otherwise liked. The length was just long enough to be appropriate for a business casual work event. Great choice.

Small in the Bust
If you're large chested with a small waist, this may not work out. I am normally a size 4 but I sized up to accommodate my chest. Even at the larger size, this guy would not zip over my chest. It's unfortunate because the style was cute. Material has no stretch.

Incredibly narrow hips and no stretch
I have round hips and a sizeable butt--I could not get this dress over my butt/hips. There is no stretch to the garment. I think I would have had to size up to at least an 8 to get it on but the waist would have been swimming on me. Not made for hourglass figures. Cute design but poor fit.

In love with this dress
This runs true to size but is incredibly short. I'm 5'7" and this juuuust came past my butt. It didn't deter me though. The material is like denim--thick and sturdy. Overall, a showstopper.

Black Halo does not work for short torsos
This is the second Black Halo dress I have tried. I sized up this time to accommodate my chest which finally fit, but the torso remained problematic. I have a short waist and this dress just bunched up and looked really bad on me. If you have a short waist, I would recommend avoiding Black Halo.

Not good for curvy ladies
I have a short, small waist and large bust. This fit so weird. It did fit my bust, but the belt was immediately under the bust with the pockets right under that--they stuck out a bit and made me look larger than I am. The waist was large and bunched. Overall, it's a no.

Easy fit and fun colors
Fit accommodated a large bust and small waist (34DDDD) and hung in a flattering manner. Loved the print. It's a tomato red with turquoise flowers. Light and airy feel. Highly recommend.

Beautiful tailoring but less than ideal fit for short waists
I have a short waist and this dress bunched in the waist on me. The tailoring on the hips/butt is beautiful though and hugs every curve. If you have a longer waist, this may be a perfect fit.
