Cute!
This is a very cute casual top but just not my style. The fabric on the back is a cotton blend pinstripe and so rather than a flowing fit it's more structured. The quality is great but my chest is large and so it looks boxy on me if you are an average or slender build this top will look great on you!

Great for a thin or athletic build
This just didn't work for me. I would have needed to go up at least two sizes for the bust to fit and then the rest of the dress would be 3-4 sizes too big. I ordered one size larger than normal but couldn't butt the top. If you have a smaller bust or are pear shaped versus hourglass I think this dress would be really cute for spring and summer. It is very well made.

Really Cute!
This dress is really pretty and would be great for a spring or summer party or date night. The bows on the shoulders are pre-done and stay in place. The dress is cut in such a way that you can easily wear a bra and conceal the straps, even for those of use with ample busts. The fabric is nice and holds it's shape with a lining but isn't too heavy. I didn't wear it because it is not my style but if it were I would have bought this dress.

So pretty but a very odd fit
This is really pretty and the flared bottom would be beautiful if it fit. The bust is really small, a full five inches smaller than two other Derek Lam blouses I have. If you are a. Pear shape this will look great on you. The hips are much larger than the bust. Unfortunately Derek Lam sizing varies A LOT from piece to piece. I have some items in the same size than fit perfect but it’s always a 50/50 shot as to how it will fit. I really wanted to love this and if it had not been so tight in the bust I would buy it and have it altered.

Really well made and flattering
I order my normal size and they were just a bit too loose so I am reordering in a smaller size. These jeans ROCK! They are heavier weight denim with stretch and are designed to fit at the waist and hips. I would love to see more Good American jeans that are not skinny jeans.

Nice Dress but Runs Small
Pretty, really pretty and nice thick fabric but super small and short. This is really a mini on anyone over 5'5" and unless you are small busted it will show a good bit of cleavage so it would be fine for date night but not appropriate for work.

This style usually looks great on me and the dress is well made but looks very matronly. It is long on me and I'm 5'8". The color looks almost black. I simply don't like it and it is not something I would purchase in a store for any price so I opted just to return the dress without wearing it.

Really Cute & Functional
This is a very well made piece and looks great with virtually everything, jeans, and leggings for casual wear as well as dress slacks, skirt or suit for work. The neck can be worn open or closed. The fit is forgiving but not super loose so you still look polished. The fabric is chiffon like but not super thin so it hangs very well. The only negative is the ties on the sleeves are challenging to cinch down by yourself but I was able to manage with a little extra effort. If you are looking for something you will be able to wear numerous times and look great this blouse is a great choice.

SUPER Small up top
I wanted to love this. It is well made, great color but it did not fit. If you are large busted (even an hourglass shape) this is not proportioned to fit. Much better for someone who is pear-shaped. The dress is really pretty however and has enough weight to hang properly.

Pretty but not flashy
I paired these with the ML Monique Lhuillier Back Bow Gown and they are perfect. The gown is a statement piece and I didn't want something competing for attention. These are a perfect complement to the dress and very comfortable to wear. Just enough gold to pick up the gold in the dress.

Lovely bag for formal affair or night out
Really a nice structured clutch. Large enough for phone, compact and lipstick plus a slot for credit card, id, and a little cash. It is nicely textured outside and with the appearance of a gold lace overlay. In addition to formal events, it would be great with a mini or even jeans and a nice top for a night out.

REALLY small bust, at least 4-6 inches smaller than average.
If you are small busted and looking for a gorgeous feminine yet sophisticated dress this one is for you. If you are curvy or large busted you will be disappointed. The dress is beautiful but the design is not for someone of equal proportions.

Simply Elegant!
Really lovely, lots of sparkle and could be used with almost any formal or dressing up jeans for date night with a great top. It is quite small, large enough for a lipstick, iPhoneX, ID, and a credit card. I really liked it and will rent it again.

Pretty but not for girls with a large chest!
Nice gown, very pretty, and would make a great dress to bridesmaids or attending a wedding. I rented my normal size and a larger backup. My normal size fit perfect from the waist down but I could not get close to zipping the dress at over my chest. I tried the backup and it was no better. If the dress would have run true to size it would have been great but unfortunately, it didn't work for me. If you are not large breasted I think this dress would be lovely. RTR sent me two other dresses overnight since this one didn't work and one of them was really beautiful so in the end, they saved the day!

This dress is beautiful and comfortable!
I love the slit in front which makes it easy to walk, sit, and dance in. The dress is prettier in person than the photos and for the ladies with an ample chest you can wear bra. I wore a standard deep plunge bra by adding the wap around the wait band extenders and everything stayed in place all night. I got tons of compliments all night and I would definitely recommend this dress if you want to look beautiful while being comfortable.

Sophisticated and stunning!
The dress is fully lines crepe, hangs perfecting and the lace with just a bit of sparkle is fabulous. I wore this as a guest at a wedding and received tons of compliments.. The fabric has a tiny bit of stretch but I found the measurements are spot on. the cut allows you to wear a regular black bra with standard to thin straps because it lays right at the point the lace joins the crepe. Prefect with a pair of black stilettos and I wore it with the Slate & Willow "Adams Earrings" .

Great design, well made & gorgeous color
Great dress, thick enough not to show everything but still comfortable as a summer dress. The sizing seems to be off about 2-3 inches all over. I think the next smaller size would have been a perfect fit so I would suggest ordering your backup in the smaller size. If you are full busted you will love this style, it has some stretch you can wear a standard bra based on where the cutouts are. I will definitely rent this dress again, just in the smaller size.

Beautiful Fabric, Really Pretty
The dress looks like a standard shift dress online but its actually a luminescent fabric with two layer butterfly sleeves. It's a lovely dress for a garden party wedding guest, date etc. Beware though is runs REALLY large, definitely go down at least one size. Both the dress and backup were way too large so I didn't get to wear the dress.

This dress fits perfectly, is forgiving and very comfortable. It is much nicer that what you see in the photos and if I could buy int I would. This is one of those dress that if is came in 10 colors you would buy all 10.

Really great a dress I would suggest ordering a size down as it seems to run large overall. The dress is lined so not slip is needed. The fabric is a very nice crepe and the color is stunning. The zippers up the underside of the sleeves are a very nice detail.

It's a really pretty dress but the fit is odd and it runs extremely small through the bust.
The fabric is really lovely and it looks pretty on the hanger but the bust is at least 5-6 inched smaller than the measurements given in the size guide. It is almost as if the bust and waist sizes are the same. If you are very small busted or have an athletic build versus hourglass this might fit you well. I would not recommend this dress or the curvy girls.

Beautiful Gown, super Comfortable
This is an elegant gown. Very flowy and just the right amount of sparkle to get you noticed without be too flashy. The mesh and sequin top is very classy and the sleeves extend just out over th edge of the shoulder (not quite a cap sleeve) and look much nicer than standard sleeveless look. It can easily be worn with a thin strap black bra. It is really comfortable and has a nice shape for hourglass and pear body types. The unfinished edge on the bottom gives a nice sheer look with evening shoes. I'm 5'8" and with a pair of Manolo rhinestone kitten heels it was the perfect length. If you are wearing stiles I would suggest getting the longer length.

This dress is beautiful on the hanger but...
Unless you are an athletic body type I would not suggest renting this dress. The rose gold color is beautiful and I really wanted it to look great but I am an hourglass body type and the dress just hangs below the bust. I expected it to be heavy because of the sequins but it just does;t fit well if you have any curves. It also runs VERY short and if you are over 5'4" I would suggest getting the tall unless you plan to wear flats. The dress was above my ankles, even if had worn flats it would have looked odd. Also make sure to have double sided tape for the lining of the hem which will show if you don't tape it into place. The dress is lovely but I am very glad I ordered a second dress in another style, otherwise I would not have had a dress to wear.
