This dress was a great choice for a beach wedding. The thicker material was perfect for when the coastal breeze kicked in but wasn't uncomfortable during the day when the sun was out. The print on the dress is more vibrant in person (you notice more of the color pops of light green and coral) which was great for a summer wedding. The pattern is fun and flirty and the shorter sleeves are great for us bigger girls during warmer weather when we want to still hide a few imperfections but not brave the heat in a long sleeved dress/wear a cardigan/pashmina/jacket. I did not accessorize heavily with this dress because I felt it didn't need it! Just wore some beige patent leather lace up flats and rose gold dangling earrings and called it a day. This was my second special occasion doing Rent the Runway and it did not disappoint!

I rented this dress for a springtime wedding. This was my first RTR experience and I was just so pleased with how it turned out it made me wonder why I hadn't done this sooner for all special events!! I ordered 18W and 22W as backup (20W was no longer in stock) but that was fine because I wasn't sure what dress size I actually was. I based my ordering on previous reviews and girls who had my similar body type (thank you!!) Fit: The 18W zipped up perfectly. Not tight at all but not loose. Some have said the sleeves are a bit constricting but I did not find that to be the case with mine. I consider my arms to be big so I was worried this would be a reason I couldn't wear the dress but the top lace of the dress was actually loose! I figure it had loosened up from previous wear which was fine with me because I was nice and comfy the entire day. The material is nice and heavy so no need for a jacket at all if using this during the springtime or summer. Also, the dress fell just below my knees which was perfect for a modest wedding look. Pros: Received amazing compliments! I never wear high fashion clothing, and you can really tell the difference in quality of materials and fit. I regret having to return it, but I love the idea that someone else is going to get great use out of it rather than it sitting in my closet collecting dust. I enjoyed my RTR experience so much as soon as I got home the next day I placed an order for a summertime beach wedding. Cons: None!
