This dress fit more like a maxi than a midi, which made it look more formal than I wanted for work. I’m 5’7”, so if you’re petite expect it to be even longer. It’s a beautiful dress, great weight and fabric, and I really liked it otherwise.

As others have said, the dress runs big and without the belt can look a bit frumpy. However, belted with heels this dress is a super sophisticated showstopper.

Rented this dress for a temple ceremony looking for a warm conservative dress. Unfortunately, it was too big and just looked baggy and frumpy. Besides the sizing, it would have worked great - comfortable fabric, work-appropriate, and warm. Rent, but size down.

The shoulders are a little boxy, so if you have broad shoulders it may not be your favorite, but for a pear-shaped gal, it provides nice balance and is very flattering. I got a ton of compliments. Versatile and can be worn with heels or tights and boots.

Everything about this dress is professional and conservative...except the 11" slit that extends to the upper thigh and is curved so it can't even be pinned. Impossible to wear to work.
