Loved this dress! The print helps disguise any problem areas and the fit is form fitting but flattering. The cut outs are tasteful and fairly discreet. Would definitely wear this dress again. My only (tiny) complaint was that it was pretty tight at the bottom and it made walking up and down stairs difficult. This normally wouldn't be a big deal, but the wedding venue had lots of stairs! Overall, a winner.

I fell in love with this dress and was very excited to rent it for a spring wedding. Unfortunately, when it arrived, it really didn't live up to the beautiful photos on the website. It felt a little less sleek and sophisticated and a bit more prom-like (not a bad thing for those wearing it to prom, but I'm 29, so not a good thing at my age!). The fabric was more of a crepe (I expected something stretchy - my bad for not reading the fabrication) but the real issue was the fit through the chest area. If you are small chested like me, you won't fill this out and there will be awkward points in the fabric. Also, I found the area where the dress overlaps (across the thighs) to be unflattering. Fortunately, the RTR team helped me find a great back-up and overnighted it for me!!

I didn't end up wearing this dress (I ordered it as a back-up), but since there aren't many reviews, I wanted to share my feedback. It is a great black dress, but nothing special and not quite as structured as I thought it would be. Looks lovely on and the slit helps spice it up a bit, but the fit is definitely large. I'm usually never smaller than a 2, and the 2 was too big at my waist, where it needed to cinch in. I'd recommend going down at least one size, and renting if you're looking for a solid black dress that isn't overly fussy!

If I could keep this dress, I would - absolutely loved it. Wore it to a formal, black tie event, and it was perfect for the very dressy occasion. I was initially concerned about the fit...that it might be too snug in the hip/midsection area and/or unflattering. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was actually incredibly flattering and really hugged my curves in all the right places. I do caution potential wearers that it is a really heavy dress and one that isn't all that comfortable to sit in...so if you plan to do a ton of moving around and dancing, be prepared to deal with a large, heavy gown. Sad to see it go, would rent again in a heartbeat!!

Very flattering fit - good for someone looking to show off a smaller waist. Fashion tape is necessary to keep the deep v in place, so make sure you have on hand. Pattern and colors are beautiful in person. Overall, would have bought it if I could have!

I had such high hopes for this dress! Love the print and the material is gorgeous and so soft/comfortable. However, I felt like this dress just swallowed me up. Too blouse-y for my body type and not flattering in photos. Might have needed a size down.

Perfect for my occasion (a bachelorette party) and probably one of the most flattering dresses I've ever worn! I'm smaller chested with a small waist and curvier bottom half and the fit was perfect - nipped in and flowed out at all the right places. The color is so vibrant and looked great even on my paler skin tone. Would have kept it if I could!!
