This wasn't my favorite rental but that shouldn't stop anyone from renting. I really wanted a LBD that was just a little special. Depending on the fit and fabric I can usually fit an XS/S or a size 2/4. I felt like the XS in this was actually a little big. Don't get me wrong, it was very comfortable, but I was expecting something a little more fitted. The fabric is definitely very forgiving and had an almost gauzy feel. I loved the length and the mock neck!! I'm 5'5 and it came to my knees and looked great with 4 inch black heels. It was a very cute version of a LBD but I was looking for something that made me feel a little more special. I think this would be great at a work function with a blazer or a nice dinner even, just a little blah for a party.

This was a stylist selected mystery bling to go with a black floral dress I rented. The purse was cute, but there really isn't anything amazing about it. The zipper trim was definitely different but its not really a detail that anyone can see unless you're really looking closely. I also didn't like that it was a magnetic closure. This is a personal preference as I like a full zipper to feel that extra sense of security. This is disclosed in the item description, but again, this was sent to me as a mystery. Overall I fine basic black clutch, just nothing special.

This was the first Nicole Miller I've rented so I wasn't sure what to expect. The material is hard to describe. It's similar to BCD material (for non scuba divers, think something like a thin canvas) with a mesh layer under. I wore it to dinner in Miami and wasn't too hot. I def thought it ran slightly large, but could have worn either size. The 0 had less extra fabric on the body but it was definitely tighter around my under arms than the 2. I felt super sexy in this (it's very cleavagey) and my husband loved it.

I'd been debating this dress for a while and decided to pull the trigger for a Broadway themed wedding in Miami. I rented a size 0 and 2. The size 0 was BEYOND inappropriate for a wedding. Granted, I'm 5'5 and was wearing 5 inch heals but still. The 2 did this strange bulge at the seam in front and made it look like I had a tire, you can see on the picture. The 0 didn't have this bit due to modesty, I wore the 2. The tulle on the 0 was also much more work and flat while on the size 2 it looked newer and was much more stiff. I loved this dress and would have given it 5 stars if the front seam wasn't so strange. I revived tons of compliments regardless!!

This is the second Herve Leger dress I've rented and it was gorgeous as always! Typical bandage style dress, it definitely keeps everything in its place. I usually rent a small and xsmall but this was only available in small, so I don't have the xsmall to compare to. The previous Herve I rented I wore the small in, it was a pull on (no zipper) and I couldn't get the xsmall on to save my life lol. This one zippers in the back. The reason I deducted a star was it definitely stretched after I wore it for a few hours and in hindsight I wished I had had the xsmall. The top of the small was also stretched out a little bit, so there was some gaping.

I rented this dress for a wedding with "cocktail attire" dress code. The dress was beautiful! The fabric has a beautiful sheen to it and the navy is very rich. I animal print isn't in your face, it's subtle. The flower pattern at the bottom of the dress is a burnished gold so I wore this with nude heels and gold accessories. I usually wear a 0 or 2 depending on fabric and chest fit- I opted for the 2 in this one as the 0 was a little tight for a sit down dinner. As others have mentioned, the zipper on this is a biatch. I had to have my husband patiently zip me in this. The one I wore definitely had an easier zipper than the other.

This is my favorite formal dress I've rented so far. The pictures don't do this gown justice! It's fully sequined. And interestingly, the sequins are two sided. On one side they are a pretty matte navy and on the other they are disco ball silver. The sequins are reversible, you can run your hand over them and change how much navy or silver you want showing. So cool. I will say the top fits smaller than the bottom (there are zippers in both pieces). The top on the 0R was a little too tight and the top in the 2R was more comfortable. The bottom on the 0R was more fitted than the 2R but not enough where it was a big deal. HOWEVER. The biggest difference in the sizes was how much shorter the 0R was then the 2R!! The 0R didn't even cover my shoes!! I am 5'5 and was wearing 4 inch heels. The 2 R covered everything perfectly. Other than that, I received a ton of compliments!! If you are heavier on top than the bottom, you might have a fit issue.

This dress was such a beautiful blue and it really photographed well! It is definitely short, but for dinner out in Miami it wasn't inappropriate. I went with the 0 in this one and there was definitely a little extra fabric around my midsection. It wasn't noticeable in pictures and ended up being ok after I ate a huge dinner lol. When I first got this dress, I was highly skeptical. I felt like the waist was too high and that it didn't do anything for my figure. I rented this dress to wear the horse races. It was just ok, I would give 3.5 stars if I could but decided to round up. The print was nice, loved the blues and the patterns that wove through it. The fabric wasn't too heavy for south Florida either. The fit was just not my favorite. The 2 was a tent on me so that wasn't an option. The 0 was much better it advance warning, it's short!! Also, the 0 had a lot of extra fabric around the waist as well but it photographed nicely. I think this is just hope Lily dresses fit though, more of a straight fit instead of fitted to the body.

I rented this dress for a formal wedding and it was gorgeous! Warning- this dress has a very annoying side zip though! This is always a struggle for me because my girls are large for how small my waist is. My husband had to assist in getting me in the dress and there may have been skin being zippered involved lol. Once on it's really very flattering. If your brad strap is lower in the back you could wear a standard bra with this. I opted to not wear one and just put cutlets in for a little push up. I opted for the 0L over the 2L because the 2L had a good handful of extra fabric on the stomach area. The 0L also had extra fabric but that was ok as I enjoyed being able to breathe all night and the fabric texture hid all that. I am 5'4 and was wearing 5 inch heels. The bottom of the dress didn't cover my toes but I wasn't tripping on it or getting caught on it all night which was nice an there were lots of stairs at the venue. I rented the Dark Wing Necklace to go with this and it was gorgeous!

This was a replacement for another necklace that arrived broken. This one unfortunately was pretty messed up too. You could see on one side where they incorrectly attached the chain to the main part so the one side wasn't laying flat. I was constantly fussing with it but even so, I'm only taking off one star for that. It was a gorgeous necklace though!! It photographed well and I received multiple compliments. I would definitely rent again and get a backup as well. I've had 3 RTR necklaces in a row now that have been damaged do just be aware!! Their customer service is awesome as always though!!

I rented this dress for a birthday brunch in Miami. The color of the dress was lovely but that's about all I loved about it. I usually wear a size 2 and if the material is stretchy I often opt for the size 0. I could have used a size 4 at LEAST in this. There is no stretch to the material so if you're smaller on the bottom with a larger chest (I'm a 32 c) you might be in trouble. I could barely breath once my husband zipped this puppy up!! The bottom fit fine but it is VERY short (I'm 5'5) which was fine for me (it's Miami after all) but might make someone uncomfortable who is wearing it to a wedding or work function. I rented this dress for brunch with friends in South Beach. The dress itself is beautiful. The fabric feels silky to the touch and is very lightweight (not much stretch!). The pictures really don't do the colors justice either- they're well saturated and quite lovely. I usually rent a 0 and 2 in dresses and fabric depending, usually wear the 0. I could have worn a 4 in this if I wanted. I have a small rib age but a bigger chest and it just wasn't possible to get in the 0. The 2 fit fine but it was definitely difficult to sit it. The top was tight and because it's short you either have to flash some leg when you sit to loosen the top or have the top go tight to cover your legs. Wouldn't stop me from renting again as it was gorgeous! If you have a smaller waist and bigger chest you might consider sizing up. I rented the Pistachio Drop Earrings from Slate & Willow to coordinate and they were perfect!!

This wasn't my favorite rental, but I was still pleased. I wore the smallest size and it just fit slightly off on the upper half. The top is kind of fitted and I felt the shoulders just felt strange. I probably got the most compliments from renting this bag than any other piece I've rented!! There was plenty of room for everything I needed and it looked awesome in person! So why the 4 stars? On my bag, the gem at the top was loose. It wiggled around in the holder so much it had me worrying the whole night it would just break off. Nothing some well placed super glue couldn't fix but obviously not something I was attempting. It was definitely distracting as I was trying to be so gentle with it. Also, the gem at the stop is a pale yellow color. Didn't affect anything for me but this might be helpful to someone if you're trying to match it to something.

I rented this for a rehearsal dinner and while I loved the dress itself, the fit was quite strange. I found the 2 to have waaay to much fabric in the stomach area, it bunched when I sat down and the slip was a pain as well. The 0 definitely fit better but the arms, OMG, the arms!! I am petite and have thin arms and I had to work to get my hands through the bottom part of the sleeve! Once in, it was fine but taking it off was a delicate affair as you have to watch the lace. I also thought the color on the dress was a little more dull than the picture. The dress was nice, I wore it, got a lot of compliments, just wasn't my favorite. Id suggest ordering a backup if you rent this as the fit might be difficult for some people.

Ordered this for a New Years Eve wedding- the bride said "wear your New Years best" so I figured it was appropriate. The dress was beautiful!! The fabric was very breathable and the sequins were in good shape, not faded like some sequins can get. I ended up wearing the 38 as I wanted this to fit more snug than the 40. The 38 was definitely tighter around the arm holes but unlike other reviewers I had no underarm chaffing. WARNING: there is no zipper in the dress, it's an over the head number and a tight squeeze at that- put it in before makeup and hair!! The dress didn't need a lot of accessories so I rented and wore the Oscar de la Renta "Bow Surprise" ring and the Kate Spade "Emina Engagement Ring" bag. These are definitely a very unique pair of earrings as one of the pieces fits behind your ear so the pearls look like they're hugging your lobes lol.
