Nice for lots of events
This dress is a really nice balance of conservative and pretty, so it can be worn to all kinds of events. Dad's birthday dinner? Check. Graduation? Check. Work or work event? Yup. Wedding guest? Why not? The ruffle is quite feminine without being in the way or over the top. At 5'6", the hem fell to a flattering knee length. It also has a touch of stretch which made it comfortable for all day wear. And it's a lovely periwinkle - so nice for spring! I sized down 1 size based on reviews and was happy with the decision.

Nothing Special, but It Works
I used to wear a lot of shirts like this about 5 or 6 ... or 7? years ago. I suppose that sometimes they have their place, but it feels a bit dated somehow. If you have a double cloth jacket (or have ever had) from J. Crew, the fabric has a bit of the same finish. I liked that the shirt buttoned the whole way down and wasn't just a popover with some buttons. However, I didn't love the pintuck at the bottom of the sleeves. It was okay, but not stellar. Nice for augmenting a wardrobe on a "librarian" look day.

Would be great, if only ....
I guess I don't get it. Theory can make the body long enough (finally!!) for someone with a longer torso. The seams fit in all the right places, too, as long as you size correctly for the brand 1-2 sizes from your normal size. But they can't seem to make the arms of their jackets long enough! I'm sure that the intent is that they're bracelet length. If you were to choose to buy it, know that they can't let out the sleeves long enough. If you're great with bracelet sleeves, it's a nice, warm, winter weight blazer with great color.

Really beautiful statement earrings, and, as other reviews note, extra light for their size! I hate it when the earrings just pull my earlobe down. These were great all night long (almost 12 hours). Minus 1 star because they kept getting stuck in my hair.

Great Print!
So this dress is probably a 5* dress for someone with a smaller neck or narrower shoulders, but I had to knock 1 star off for the tight neck. True-to-size for Parker -I should note I'm about 125 right now, too. There is NO STRETCH in this silk dress, and it's cut on the bias in the skirt so it will pull if you have hips. Great length on 5'7" with just a bit of knee showing on the short side. The fabric is beautiful and the print is outstanding in its vibrancy. Had to convince my husband it was worth it to wear to his 50th birthday party - he originally felt it was "too pink." However, he ended up loving it so much, I wore it on our Valentine's Day date, too. Stunning, easy to move in, and lots of compliments. Great pick, and I'd consider buying it except that there are so many dresses to try!

Heavy and warm
The side slits are indeed very high, so I wore it over top of a black dress. Unfortunately, I think that this sweater may have shrunk after cleaning as the bottom of the sweater didn't seem to hang or lay correctly (sort of longer on one side than the other, and definitely farther away from itself on the sides - front and back wise - than on the model). I did like the style, however, and it was thick and warm. It was a nice one-time everyday rental, but not a keeper.

Very Sexy
I should have known better. I'm always an 8 in French designers (their sizing). I'm 130, 34B, 5'7" - pretty athletic - and I usually wear a 2 or 4 in US sizing. It was tight, but we made it work. With a little black bag and red lipstick, I hit it out of the park as far as the husband was concerned!

SO great in the heat!
Great, easy everyday look. I found the length to be a bit short on my frame, but if you're feeling like showing a little more leg, go for it. The skirt is pretty full, so it doesn't read "mini skirt" which I don't think I could pull off anymore. The fabric was surprising to me, because I thought it would be heavier, like a light denim, but it was a woven that really performed for me on a few hot days. Loved it with a white tee and a pair of chunky heeled sandals, much like the model. One note, my elastic was a bit twisted, and for the life of me, I couldn't make it go flat. It's a very wide elastic, though, and sits flat otherwise. If you're 135lbs at my height or a little rounder in the middle, you may be more comfortable sizing up to the medium. I wasn't sure if it was me or the elastic, but that elastic is strong!

Love the color and patter for everyday
Stuff definitely falls to the bottom of this tote. It is nice and wide, but that means that you probably would do best to have an organizer in it to manage your things. One more side pocket would have been useful, but otherwise, it's a nice look, and it did the job. However, the straps are so thin! I know it looks good, but it's not useful if you've got some electronics and binders in the bag and it's cutting into your shoulder.

Forgiving Size-wise
I am 5'6", 135 after holiday weight, with a 27" waist and a very athletic build (broad shoulders, too). Hips are 37-38 - any given day! I rented the 42, but could have gotten away with the 40. I got nervous right before I pulled the trigger that it would be too tight, but I should have relaxed. I actually brought this home to wear to an event in Paris, but ultimately did not wear it because I felt it was a little too revealing of the cleavage - something French women don't really do. Don't need a bra, but modesty petals might be in order - the material isn't that thick if it's cold. The shoulder straps are VERY sexy, though, and even my muscular arms didn't look like sausages - a huge plus. The unfinished edges are a bit weird, but you can't really see it. I would only be worried if I got a well-worn item that might look a little frayed. Otherwise, length on me was perfect. I would definitely rent this for an event States-side.

Oddly Shaped - Big Hips, Tight Waist, Narrow Shoulders
I know I have broad shoulders, but this was ridiculous. I was notified that the dress I had ordered was damaged, and I wouldn't be receiving it, and that I would receive a stylist pick. All great. Except they sent me a dress that runs small in the same size I ordered for my other dress (a 2). Squeezed into it (BARELY) with my hips, but the shoulders were a disaster, and I almost couldn't get the dress off. For reference, I'm about 20" tip to tip on my (athletic) shoulders. Also, the hem seemed really long and unflattering for the size. I'd consider having enough Hollywood tape around to hem it to your liking if you're getting a smaller size.

Not for Me
Wow, this skirt was completely overwhelming on my frame. And my husband made sure I knew it! I rented the 0 and the 2. Would have gone with the 2 , but it was not at all flattering. And ultimately, it would have been too hot in the humidity anyhow since the fabric won't breathe. Cute on the girls who had submitted photos, but I think I looked like Julie Andrews in The Sound of Music. Think twice. It's a lot of fabric!

These earrings are a real find for me. I have a long enough neck, but some of the earrings on RTR are just too big to be age-appropriate for me. They were a little heavy, but I expect that of quality costume jewelry. The mother-of-pearl was very pretty. They were very flattering, and a great complement to my Lela Rose dress!

GREAT proportions!
This dress is my favorite rental I've *ever* had. I even looked to see if I could buy it somewhere afterwards - yes, for the full retail price! It was that good. The silk is thick and structured, and the Guipure lace is frankly some of the most amazing work I've seen outside a wedding gown. As far as the rental goes, lots of dry cleanings have compromised the lace structure at the collar just a little bit, so it does fall, but the back makes up for any and all flaws. Runs just a tad smaller than you'd usually get because she's a more high-end and wedding designer (think wedding dress sizing). I'm 5'7" and it fell to a lady-like knee length. The top half perfectly fit my longer torso, as well. Love that this dress is JUST RIGHT for so many occasions.

Attention Getter
This dress was fantastic, if a little on the safe side. I usually wear a 2 in dresses, but this ran just a *teensy* bit small (I would still say TTS, I just fell a little on the 4 side that night), so I wore the 4 and was comfortable all night. The 2 was a little tight when i sat, but it stayed up better. Lots of compliments all night, for sure. The long was definitely long, and at 5'7", I had to wear good size heels to keep the dress from tripping me. Note that if you're going to be dealing with stairs, the way the dress hugs your thighs will make it hard to pick up the hem, but it's doable. I love the way the ruching and pleating showed off my figure without being too obvious, and those pleats keep you looking svelte even after that big dinner!
