The Long was very... Short.
I ordered the 2L for a formal Great Gatsby themed event. Unfortunately, I did not wear it as the dress was entirely too short. I usually have no issue with size long (I'm only 5'7"), and typically have plenty of room to wear heels as well. This dress, however, came up to my ankles without heels on. With heels, it looked ridiculous and didn't even come close to grazing the floor. I'm not sure if I got a defective one, or if it somehow shrank since it was made, but it really did not fit well at all.

The "Long" Isn't Really That Long...
I thought this dress was very flattering and beautiful, except that the "Long" size was not a true long! The XSL and the SL fit fine, but I would not have been able to wear heels at all with them without it looking a little off. I decided to go with a different dress. Could be a great dress, though, if you are 5'5" or shorter!

Very cool dress, but shorter than expected
This dress could have been a perfect five stars, except for a few details. First, I had to pin the hem of the dress so that the lining didn't hang lower than the outer fabric. The other thing is that it is ALMOST too short on the shorter side of the asymmetrical hemline. If it were ANY shorter, I probably wouldn't have worn it for fear of my tush hanging out. The long side is great, if not even a little long! That being said, I received a number of compliments on the dress, and enjoyed wearing it (despite the length and having to pin it). But, I probably wouldn't ever rent again.

Fantastic clutch!
This clutch was perfect. I wore with a black and tan dress, and it was just the right amount of class and flair. It was large enough to hold my phone, card wallet, lipstick and powder compact. Totally wish I owned it!

WAY too short!
Maybe this is a sign that I've hit my late twenties... But this dress is too short! The length is fine everywhere except the middle where the two sides overlap. I'm not particularly tall - 5'7", but I definitely felt uncomfortable wearing it. Even my husband said it was really short (not something he typically would say!). If you are shorter, I'm sure this could work. It's a cute dress and I wish I could have worn it, but it was a total no-go!

Adds some flare to an LBD
This blazer worked perfectly for me to wear to my husband's holiday party. I wore it over top of a black Herver Leger dress. I have a very straight figure, so it flared out a little at my hips, but was not too much of an issue as it gave a little shape to the outfit. Like other reviewers said, it does have a little more of a purple sheen to it than is shown in the RTR pictures, but I still thought the metallic look was very festive. I received many compliments, and enjoyed wearing it! My only complaint was that the lining of the sleeves kept slipping down a little so it showed beyond the cuff. I wouldn't count on rolling the sleeves up, FYI.

Fabulous fit, makes for an elegant silhouette!
Definitely a form-fitting skirt! Instead of the crop top, I wore a loose, cream colored silk top tucked in to the skirt. It looked fantastic, and I received many compliments! Things to note: it is definitely tight, and although slightly stretchy, it's not as forgiving as I thought it looked from the pictures. The first skirt I received had a rip up the slit, but fortunately RTR has amazing customer service and they overnighted me a new one the next day. I'll also mention that the slit is relatively high, and the skirt is on the thick side so it can get warm. Also to note: it is definitely meant to be worn with heels! I am 5'7" and wore 5" heels and it was barely off the ground. But, the heels make it look even more elegant and fabulous! All in all, I'd highly recommend this skirt if you're looking for a sleek, beautiful look for a formal or semi-formal affair!

Sexy, but sometimes too sexy...
It is a very sexy dress and looks great. Other reviewers are correct in that it is very forgiving material, except that the "X" with the cutout is NOT forgiving, so keeps you from sizing down. The smaller size I ordered actually kind of smelled a little funky, so I took it down a star for that, as well as for the fact that it kept riding up (the "too sexy" part)! I ended up wearing the S instead of XS. Overall, a nice dress with only minor flaws. Definitely keeps you sucking in your stomach though!
