transitional weather car coat
This short coat is fine for cool days, roomy to be able to wear a jacket underneath, but plenty tailored for work. It doesn't button up the whole way, so not great for truly cold weather.

Gorgeous and stands out from the crowd.
I wore this to a charity dinner on a cold February night and got compliments from the moment I took my coat off (from a stranger) through to when we left (from a woman working the event). The slip is low in back, so a regular bra would show; I wore a corset. There's no give in the fabric and the skirt is narrow enough that it isn't ideal for dancing. Plus the tulle on the sleeves is a bit itchy. But the embroidery is rich and vibrant so the dress looks fabulous - especially (as always w/ Rent the Runway) amongst the sea of black dresses! And , while the high neck, 3/4 sleeve and knee length make it modest, it's form-fitting and surprisingly sexy.

Odd fit.
This blazer didn't work for me. Im a pretty reliable size 4. The upper sleeve was very tight and the "skirt" was big in me, so I couldn't wear it.

Good for work
I wore these a few times to work with boots, and once to a "business attire" rehearsal dinner with pumps. The fit was true to size. I liked the fabric pattern but know that the fabric is quite stiffThe waist is tucked in, which made it fine for my hourglass figure, and I balanced the VERY WIDE cut by wearing a form-fitting top.
