Will rent in a smaller size
Too big overall even in shoulders. Normally I need to size up 1 to 2 sizes in jackets because of my broad shoulders. But this would work in a 10 or 12 so true to size. It's a standard weight for a blazer, leather trim is a fun detail. I would give 4 stars if it wasn't big. I'll review again when I rent correct size.

Love
I have rented twice, sorry forgot a photo. I recommend. It is heavy however to wear a coat over so its meant more for spring or fall. Might be a little heavy for summer and in winter hard to wear a coat over.

Not work appropriate
The 12 zipped fine and I had plenty of room but at 5"3 it was super short. Inappropriate short for work. I couldn't sit down so even tights would not help. Print and colors are great. Fabrication is also great, with some stretch. Maybe someone without Any curves this might hang longer. I do not consider myself petite, i have a long torso so maybe this would work best with a petite frame. It's a risk to rent for work.

Really liked but a few issues
Thinner, silkier material than expected. But because of this LOTS of static cling. Annoying! Also on the 14 the left pant hem was undone so looked silly (hope this gets fixed!) if anyone took the time to give my outfit a good look. Recommend more for warmer weather because not as cute with boots at my height. At 5' 3" hit me at the ankle. Great print though. Normally in DVF im a 12 in dresses or 10 in tops or bottoms but needed the 14 here for torso length and arms/chest.

Flattering shape
Shape was flattering but I did not realize the high neck would be a little tight. I did not wear bc I found the neck annoying. But if you are comfortable with a high neck it is a beautiful dress.

Nice pattern and great colors but just ok
I live alone and found the dress impossible to zip on my own. Once zipped it did fit, although a little constricting in the arms. Would be nice for work in the spring or summer but did not feel special enough for a baby shower so I did not wear it.

Pattern is great, warm for fall and even warmer winter days. But the sleeves were ruched and long which I wasn't a huge fan of.

I Love this designer and this silhouette but the pattern wasn't my favorite. The shirt is a little long and may have been more flattering if shorter. Overall okay top but other tops from this designer are better.

I could move my arms and it was comfortable but the pleats were not flattering. Make me look larger than I am. The underneath part was shorter than the outer layer which made for an odd fit.

Runs way too large
This dress appears to be a form fitting sweater dress, but runs large and fits loose. I wear an 8 or 10 in designers like Michael kors or general brands like ann taylor and I needed a small in this dress. With the right fit it is a quality sweater. Also its navy not black which I did not realize.

too frilly
Like most ML runs small so go up 1 or 2 sizes than you normally wear in street clothes. Also the zipper is difficult which I also find often on ML dresses. Biggest issue was the neck hole was tight and hard to get my head through so I can only imagine that you would have to fix your hair after getting dressed. That was really the deciding factor not to wear. Much frillier in person and overwhelming. Not as sophisticated as in the photo. I'm short though so might be more flattering on someone taller.

I have broad shoulders so I went with a large but it was way too big. Whatever size you typically wear in street clothes size down from there. Medium probably would have stayed on my shoulders and still look "oversized" as it intended. Nice material and color. I'll try the m when available.

Not as sparkling in person which I liked. Little tight in the shoulders making it hard to move. Also a little short so I had a difficult time figuring out what to wear with it which is why I gave less stars.

Uncomfortable and tight around the neck and slits up the side that I was not expecting. Didn't wear because of the discomfort. Also difficult to get on. I don't recommend, just not worth it.

Back is amazing! Very comfortable. I'm 5"3 and the length was perfect which is amazing, I wore 3 inch heels and no dragging probably could have even gone with shorter heels. Highly recommended!

My family and friends thought the dress was awful when I showed them on the model before I ordered but went with my own feelings and rented anyway. Soooooo glad I did! Amazing in person, so many compliments. In off the rack I wear an 8 or 10, most designer dresses I find myself sizing up to a 14 because my largest measurement is my wide back. I only rented the 14 and it fit great so I have no other size to compare to. With 3 inch heels the dress did graze the floor, I would normally prefer a little shorter as to not trip. With rent again to another formal event with a different group of people.

Worth renting!
Great print, quality material and flattering fit. Runs big, I probably could have used a medium instead. I have broad shoulders and in street clothes wear an 8 but sometimes have to size up because of tightness in shoulders. It may have stayed better off the shoulder in a smaller size. But despite that I received tons of compliments! I wore Thanksgiving with raw hem light wash jeans and muted gold short boots. I also work in retail and the outfit transitioned well to head to work after dinner. Tucked the blouse pre dinner and wore untucked after of course and still looked great. Doesn't really wrinkle which was a plus. I will definitely rent again in a smaller size.

I wore to a baby shower. Lots of compliments, very flattering. I have broad shoulders so I was worried about off the shoulder but actually the dress was very proportional and showed off a smaller waist. Color isuch nicer than these pictures. Sorry didn't take any full body pics so I quickly tried to take some selfies to upload, they don't do the dress justice. Definitely recommend renting. Wish this was part of my unlimited I would buy it. I sized up because I'm bigger on top with broad shoulders. Length was perfect for me but might be too short on taller women. Also sleeves were perfect which was unusual so taller women may have issues.

Not work appropriate but great for date night
Too revealing for work and I didn't like it with tights. Would have worn more than once in the spring or summer, but just too cold right now. Loved for a nice dinner date with simple black strappy heels. Simple, elegant and a hint of sexy. Halston is one of my favs and never disappoints. I'll rent again when the weather is warmer. Hard to zip on your own, single ladies, keep that in mind, only con.

Not what I was going for
The collar is unfinished and makes the top look more like a shell or layering piece. I was looking for a blouse that would best be worn alone and not in conjunction with a jacket or blazer. But it is a great gold shimmer and would look great with an off white jacket or black blazer especially during the holidays at work or post work drinks. If your looking for a layering piece give this a try. But if you're like me and are not looking to layer pick something else.

Cute bomber but more cropped than expected
Maybe the large would have fit better but I got a medium bc my bomber jackets at home are all mediums and I never had a problem before. Fit fine in the shoulders, chest and stomach. Zipped just fine but sleeves were short and waist was cropped higher than on the model. Not the fit I was going for.

Amazing color, great back detail
Great color and some fun details on the back and belt detail are awesome. I'm 5"3 and even I usually wear my pants longer than this hit on me. I'm very surprised how short this is. The shoes in the picture ended up not working and I went with a kitten feel. If you are any taller than me you'll definitely need the long. The button pops open at times like other reviews say but not because it pulls, I just think it should have been made better.i just wore a lacy bralette in case. Only size up in terms of length otherwise pretty true to size.

Beautiful but didn't fit my frame
I have a broad back and just couldn't get the zipper all the way up. Beautiful color, was a little itchy though in the shoulders. Don't recommend if you are broad up top.
