Looked saggy.
The dress is really comfortable and effortless, however, the front fold under the bust area kept bagging out, making it look sloppy. Perhaps I am not tall enough. Usually, I receive compliments on RTR dress days but crickets on this one.

Waaaaaaay too much cleavage
This dress fit beautifully. I rented it with the intention to wear to work or work-related events. The cut outs seemed fun until I tried it on and almost walked out the door with 7" of cleavage visible in the middle cut out. Wayyyy too much showing on the very front, yet not a dress you'd wear out. Unless you can show 7" of cleavage at work, I'd skip it.

I ordered this one size up due to the reviews about it being revealing. I'd say I probably could have gone one down. Like any wrap dress, it will need to be pinned but at least there's enough fabric for a proper wrap and you won't feel exposed. I find the length to be flowy and flattering.

Top is laughably small
What is it with these dresses being made for people under a C cup? Especially plus size! This dress was fine everywhere unless I wanted my boobs not to fall out. DDD not even that big and it looked obscene. You can adjust the ties on top but then they are floppy bows. I don't know who these fit models are, they must be tall and flat-chested.

Somewhat wonky sizing. Very LONG.
In order for the dress to fit, I had to size up, probably would have been 2 sizes smaller. I am not very busty either. I guess people don't really have more than a C cup who are saying this is true to size. Anyway, bc I sized up, the waist was large, which wasn't too much of an issue but the length is not anywhere close to knee length line on the model. I am 5'4" and it hits me mid-shin which made the dress appear less like a shirtdress and more like a gown made of cotton. Strange proportions, I guess it'd work if you are tall, lanky and not very busty.

Beautifully cut, beautiful flow.
Fit was perfect, nipping in at high waist and flowing very freely beneath. The material is such a soft (silk?) and lays perfectly. I paired it with some open toed booties and it was a great outfit for Mother's Day. You could also wear this to a casual wedding or date night. Definitely needs a cami or fancy bralette in front, and possibly nude undies, I found it slightly see through in the light. Would definitely purchase.

Great costume
This would make a great Mad Men or old-timey stewardess costume. I couldn't wear it bc I felt too silly/costumey at work. The fit is also borderline small on top. Color is quite loud.

Pretty work - shape hit or miss.
I wore this twice - once to work and once to a birthday event. The embroidery is beautiful. I thought it was pretty and felt pretty in it but received no compliments! I'n guessing that's due to the fit. I found the shape to be quite large and wide. Borderline ice skater style. I had to pair with dark tights to elongate my body. The arms are also super itchy. Might work on some women, I'd think the curvier you are, the least successful it will be.

Very polished - and has pockets!
I rented this for work and received a lot of compliments! This could easily be dressed up for special occasions. I really liked how the top was stretchy and found the skirt shape to be flattering. My only hesitation is the fit of the waist. I sized up to be sure and found the waist to be tight while the top felt too long/large. I am a proportional hourglass so smaller waist wasn't an issue but I imagine this may be troublesome to certain body types.

Tricky to make it work
I recall renting this one years ago and I knew the arms ran slim so I sized up. Arms fit nicely but the rest was tent-like. If you are plus sized, I think it's true to size but with slim arms.

The pictures make this appear like baby blue with some silver in the accents. It looks very much like a ball of tin foil in person. That texture combined with the style was very unflattering.

Very comfy yet elegant dress
I am about 4 months pregnant so not really showing though I am feeling a lot bigger than I used to. I rented this dress to hide the bump and it fit the bill. I loved that I could wear a normal bra with it. I also wore wedges underneath so I was much more comfortable than usual. The colors are slightly more muted than pictured, I think it would be beautiful to wear through fall and winter. I know Badgley Mischka makes a few dresses in this style, I would highly recommend them if elegance and comfort is your goal.

Love the shape!
Loved the high-low effect of this dress. It was a full skirt but didn't feel heavy bc it was so flowy. I got compliments all night, though I did have some fit issues. Both sizes came with rips in the V neck, probably where the bust was stretched beyond what was intended. The bust was oddly on the small side, in terms of depth, though very wide, and open on the sides. I ended up in the 16 bc the 14 was smashing my boobs. The 16 was a much looser fit, but with some double sided tape, it worked out. It didn't seem to be too low for my comfort, and I was able to wear a regular VS bra with it. Be weary of an overstretched V and definitely get doublesided tape, if you're going to rent.

I rented this to wear along with the NANETTE LEPORE Outta Sight Shift. Would have looked cute but they sent me the wrong size so I paired it with a plain black dress. It is made of beautiful leather and suede, held some makeup, mints, phone, etc. It is pretty generous inside and also features a few slots for credit cards and ID. I received so many compliments from both men and women all night! Would love to own it.

I rented this for a wedding - though I usually wear a 14, all reviews said it ran large so I figured this could work, especially since it is not fitted in the hips. Woowee the length barely covered my butt. I wish I'd paid attention to the reviews. If you are petite it could work, but I felt very uncomfortable with the length.

The color and texture is phenomenal It felt a little heavy for an August wedding, so I ultimately decided not to wear it. However, it would be a show stopper in the cooler months. I liked that I could wear a normal bra and just tuck one strap down - and that the shape was very flattering to my curves. I rented the 16W bc I read that the "straight size" version of this dress ran small but, if anything, this runs a bit large, as I had ample room in the chest and hips. I wear a 14/16 and could have definitely used a 14W.

Wonky fit, no stretch
I thought this looked super cool and modern, and would make a great showcase for a statement necklace. I was excited to receive it, brand new with tags. However, once I put it on, I couldn't shake the "lab coat" feeling. I sized up (normally, I am a 14, 16 in something very structured in the hips) but the arms and chest were tight. Additionally, the arms ran very long for me. It is a modern design, with a well-made lining but perhaps it would be better suited for someone who is taller with much thinner arms/chest.

Beautiful but needs fashion tape
I ordered both the 16 and 18 after hearing that the dress ran small. I almost regret sizing up because the neckline and back were somewhat large on me, and I kept having to pull the dress up in the back so that my bra didn't show. I think I should have either sized down or worn fashion tape, but that's not the dress' fault. It is a beautiful dress, a very dark midnight that photographs as black. The silhouette was very flattering on my curves and I was able to wear a normal strapless bra. I would highly recommend it - but encourage getting your size and one size up, as others have mentioned.

I was REALLY looking forward to this dress. The color, the bodice, the pockets - just fab. I was a little surprised to see that the color wasn't really a hot pink but more of a purple/fuscia. Sizing ran large, I would have definitely needed a size down (I got the 16 bc other reviews of the non-plus version said it ran small). The length is a bit awkward on my frame , perhaps best suited to those 5'7"+.

I almost squealed when I saw this pop up in my queue, I had to try it! I got a 16 bc this version in non-plus was said to run small, though I am normally anywhere from a 12-16. The color was just stunning and there were layers upon layers of fabric, though it felt very lightweight. The bodice is fitted and sculpted enough to forego a bra. The length was a bit tricky and bodice was large, so I skipped on it. It also read a little "prom" to me and wasn't quite right for my occasion. I would definitely recommend it, and think you should size down.

I am not in the usual Herve Leger size range since I'm typically a size 14 but I figured I'd give this a shot in L. The dress was very small and very short. I would say that large would suit a size 10 max. Other than that, it was a beautiful color, and seemed well-constructed.

Such a PRETTY dress. It fits in all the right places and feels feminine and modern at the same time. I would say this runs big bc the waist is stretchy and everything is pleated so it accommodates larger hips and bust. Only caveat is that the material is pretty sheer flesh-colored undergarments are a must.

The fit is tricky
Wasn't sure about this one but figured I'd give it a try during my Unlimited membership. The fit was wonky on me; that top skirt part after the belt isn't sewn on. It sorta flopped and wasn't very attractive. I also didn't realize it has quite a hi-low length, which I wasn't a fan of. The arm holes are cut pretty wide, which gives it a very modern feel - I think this is a dress that would look fabulous on someone trying to add curves and especially if you are on the taller side.

Very modern, chic and comfy
Love this dress. The pattern is subtle but modern, the fabric a heavyweight neoprene - it had a great "weight" to it and didn't feel flimsy at all. Also, who doesn't love pockets? I wore a regular bra with it. Could have definitely sized down but I didn't want to sacrifice length. I ended up belting it to be more flattering on my hourglass frame, paired with some strappy black sandals and another rental, the Gorjana Mesa Vista Necklace Set.

SO many compliments!
I intended on wearing this for a daytime event but it was a little too much PIZZAZZ when combined with my dress. Not wanting the rental to go to waste, I paired it with a silk top and skinny pants and wore it to work. I received no less than 500 compliments on the necklace. It truly is unique and special, without looking over the top or fake. I would buy it if I could. In terms of the actual necklace, it is somewhat hefty and sits on collarbones, with a lobster closure and a couple of extra loops for sizing options.

I tried this in a 16 since it doesn't have any stretch. I found that it but showed a couple of bumps so I sized up to an 18. The 18 was loose but was hitting me in an awkward spot below my knees so I didn't end up wearing it. I would go for your true size and add some Spanx on this one. The material was a heavy crepe, and the illusion stripe was very flattering, my friend described it as a "vavavoom" dress. Nice mix of sexy+professional.

Beautiful silk, WITH POCKETS
I ended up wearing this at a business meeting in Miami. The material is a heavy silk/neoprene (I think) but that gave it a really beautiful weight and made it very flattering. I was in love with the pockets, especially since I like to stash a cell and lipgloss on me at all times. It would have been heavy for an outdoor event, but luckily I was in doors for most of the day. Would highly recommend, runs TTS, waist was smallest with comfortable room in bust and just past knee length on me.
