I tend to wear a 4 or 6, i have broader shoulders so it depends on the cut of the dress. Also for this event i needed to be more appropriate and the length was just that. The fit was perfect, and i received compliments all night long.

This is a beautiful dress and is just as pictured on rtr. I ordered a 6L and the length was a little long, I am 5'9 and was wearing flats. I think possibly I could have been more comfortable in a 4L as the dress is strapless and I felt it didn't quite stay up, I was nervous to order that as I usually wear a 6 or 8. I received many compliments and it truly is a beautiful gown.

I loved this dress! And it does run large and have a little stretch in the fabric so don't be afrAid to order down a size. The only issue I had was I ordered a 4 long and the size they actually sent was a 4 regular which didn't work quite as well with the shoes I brought on my trip for the wedding. Otherwise the dress is beautiful and I felt very elegant wearing it.
