This was my first time renting and I was suprised at the quality. I received a lot of compliments at my work's holiday party. The dress was more of a berry color than I was expecting, and was a little longer but I still felt great in it. There is no stretch so make sure you pick the right size.

This dress was PERFECT for a formal holiday party. The pictures don't do it justice to just how beautiful it is. It fits small (tight) so I sized up to a 4. I'm 5'3" and athletic body type so the 4 hit mid calf making it perfect for the colder months & a classy event. The sequins didn't bother me or rub under my arms. I received a lot of compliments on this dress. Definitely recommend!

Great head turner - really enjoyed wearing it! It does run a bit smaller than I expected so I was glad I had the size 10 which fit well. Wore it to a work holiday party and felt fabulous!

Wasn't original choice but was flattering 

I am 6'3 so finding a dress that fits is difficult. I was worried when I didn't see any other super tall ladies review this dress but it worked out great! As you can see from the pic, it does come up higher on my legs but it didn't look awkward at all. If anything, the underslip was a little short but the lacy overlay made it look flawless. Also, I was a bit apprehensive after I read reviews that this dress wouldn't be good for larger busts but I had absolutely no problem. I would highly recommend this dress! 

This dress fit perfectly, hugged in all of the right places. I wore this for Christmas Day. Would definitely rent this dress again. 

The fit of the dress was true to size and shaped my body really well. The color is beautiful and it is a perfect fall dress. The con's to this dress is the fact the the sleeves are on the short side so the sequin of the dress did scratch my arms and I had minor cuts. Also the under garment kept rising so i ended up having to take off my under shorts. Overall it was a beautiful dress and if it wasn't for the scratches i would wear it again.

I received MANY compliments. The underlay was fairly tight, that is why I had to wear the 14. The dress is slimming and beautiful. 

I'm a true hourglass figure, and since the lace didn't have any stretch the 12 was very tight through the hips.  I felt much more comfortable in the size 14, and the lining underneath didn't slide up as much as when I tried on the 12.  The sequence really does sparkle more than the pictures show!  No problems with scratching on the arms like others have commented, but I think if I had gone with the smaller size this may have been an issue. Lots of compliments all night!

Love the look of this dress in photos, but it wasn't the most comfortable dress (at all).  Very fitted (size up), in order to make the length work I did 4.5 inch shoes w/.5 inch platform.  I got stopped numerous times throughout the evening asking about the dress and the designer--lots of compliments.   Wouldn't rent it again (again super uncomfortable) but so happy I did for this specific event.

I generally wear neutral and classic looks so this dark red with some flash was outside my normal range. I'm so glad I went for it. The fit was perfect and comfortable and I got compliments galore. I was sad to have to send it back.

Few issues. The zipper is a nightmare! It was an act of God that it was able to be zipped (both up and down). The lining on the skirt is very very short. I had to wear black spanx (shorts) so my hoohaa wouldn't show. Also, the sequins on the arms rubbed raw all night. OUCH. 

I wear between a 12 or 14. This dress I needed the 14 because of the rib cage. It's tight in that area and the zipper was difficult to pull up in that area.  Otherwise it was very comfortable to wear and people kept telling me how great the dress looked on me.

It is true to size, the color is more burgundy than red.  The fit was good and no complaints.

The dress fit really well and I received many compliments throughout the evening. The only downside was the zipper handle was very slim, which made it challenging to zip. But overall, it was a great choice.

I did not get a full photo, but I wore this for Christmas Eve Mass. so many compliments. Stunning color and for perfectly!! No give and runs pretty true to size.

Though doesn't breathe so you will sweat a lot. Overall the fit is true to size, I didn't wear a bra, because they had built in cups. This dress is great for a Christmas party. Thank you RTR!! 

I wore this dress for a White House event and This dress is sexy, dressy, classy,  beautiful color, and it hugs your curves in all of the right places. The dress runs a little small so I ended up wearing the next size up just for comfort but I love the hidden sexiness the lace reveals, the length is perfect for a classy fit, and for taller more curvy girls, you don't have to worry about pulling and tagging at the dress the whole night, it's perfect! I'd definitely rent this again!

Go one size up in ordering back up size - tighter on bottom for pear shape like myself. Got so many compliments all night!

The color was gorgeous the details amazing the lining and material was very good quality.  It was perfect for my work Christmas party.  Classy, festive, and comfortable.

The color is beautiful. The dress was not scratchy at all. The length was perfect because I felt comfortable and covered.

The dress ran small so I had to fit my second size which was an 8.  The lining inside the dress did not come all the way down to the full length of the dress so the sequins were extremely itchy.  However overall I LOVED the dress and got lots of compliments. 

Beautiful dress.  The sequin pattern isn't too glitzy, which I liked.  The sleeves are a bit tight, so it irritated my arms a bit after wearing it for a while.  I also had to take smaller steps than I usually do because the dress is straight.

This dress is beautiful! It fits true to size and has NO give due to the top layer being lace and sequins. I did have to pull down the bottom layer quit a bit due to it rising. The sleeves were a bit itchy as its sequins rub against your arms. Two things that I didn't care about because it was so stunning and everyone complimented me on it! And it photographed beautifully! Love this dress!

Received compliments all night on this dress, even from complete strangers and fellow guests at a hotel while passing in the hallway. I wore it to a 40th ruby anniversary party for an organization. Didn't have to wear a bra because there was a built in , great! Not much stretch in the dress, but it was comfortable. Definitely would recommend RTR! Great experience, have already ordered another dress! I'm 5'8" and 155 pounds. Preferred the 10 vs. the 12 . 

This was not my first choice when hunting for the perfect dress for being inducted into a local foundation's top tier society, but I'm glad I chose it! This dress is simple in design, but the details make it elegant with sexy accents, perfect for this black tie-optional dinner. It is surprisingly comfortable. There is a TINY bit of stretch to the fabric, so I may have been able to get away with the 10 because the 12 was a little roomy. And the pictures don't lie: the lining only covers mini-skirt length while the lace and red sequin leaf patterns keep going to the knee to show a lot of leg. If you're planning to wear thigh-highs or Spanx shapers, you'll need a plan B because they will show under the lace! There is soft cup support that may allow for smaller cups to go braless, but my DDs aren't in that category: I just wore a nude bra which blended in under the lace overlay. My only gripe with this dress is that it still smelled heavily of the perfume of the previous renter. Luckily, it was a decent scent. I would definitely rent this dress again for a fall or winter evening party. #leavesandlace #fallelegance 

Great dress, the sequins on the sleeves irritated my arms. The liner at the bottom seemed a little short when sitting.

This dress was cute but maybe too conservative. I chose to wear it with black tights since it was freezing in St. Louis for a NYE wedding. I wore a size 2 and I was a couple months pregnant. It fit well but I think I expected the lace part to be a little more see through. Otherwise it was too long. 

I am 5'8" inches and 130 pounds. The dress has a built in bra. I normally fit a a 34B and this fit me well. Shiny!

I ordered the 8 and 10.  I usually wear an 8 unless the dress is more fitted because I am bigger on bottom than on the top.  The 8 fit, but was a bit tight so I went with the 10.  Unfortunately, the 10 was a bit too big in the top and waist.  I solved most of the problem by wearing a bra to fill out the top.  The sequins weren't too bad and because it was a little bigger up top I had no problem moving my arms.  HOWEVER, the slip part of the skirt kept riding up, like really riding up.  I wore spanx-type shorts to help but all that prevented was me exposing myself!   I ended up spending most of the night adjusting myself as discretely as possible!  I really did love the dress, just wish I could have figured out how to prevent the creep!

True to size and beautiful! I was able to dance in it and I received many compliments. It was a back-up dress and I am so grateful the original one did not work out.


This dress was amazing!  So easy to wear.  The top is just lace so I wore a strapless bra.  The material is body hugging but not uncomfortably tight.   The lace overlay part of the dress was just at the bottom of my knee but the lining ended above my knee.  I got so many compliments.  I would rent this dress again in a heartbeat.  

This dress is so beautiful. Pictures do not do it justice. I felt really sexy in it and received tons of compliments. However, it ran small so I wore the backup larger size. Also, if you're a dancing machine like me, the sequins rubbed my arms so much and it was really uncomfortable. The dress has no stretch so grab a back up larger size if you can. Other than that, this was a great dress and I would def recommend. 

I am very busty with a size 36DDD and this dress was very flattering for my body type. GREAT quality and looked as if never worn. Perfect length for my height. Very slenderizing for someone who may be self conscious of their tummy. 

The dress fit beautifully and was true to size. I wore the 4, which was only slightly different than the 2. The dress has a slip underneath, and the bra area is padded (I got away with not wearing a bra). The lace overlay is beautiful with sparkle that's not too over the top! I received a ton of compliments and it was comfortable enough for an all day affair!
