Great maternity option!
Loved that this dress had space for my bump in my third trimester. I wore this out and about and to dinner. Fit was spot on and the color was rich and beautiful.

Unique dress that is bump friendly!
I wore this to work while 27 weeks pregnant or so...got a few compliments and felt very put together! It's a thick knit fabric so relatively warm. Wore with a jean jacket on top. I'm 5'5" and about 165 lbs pregnant :)

Nice maternity dress
I wore this for our fall maternity mini photo shoot around 28 weeks pregnant The color was very holidayish - perfect for Christmas cards. The dress was elegant and flowy and had nice buttons down the back. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is it was a little plain, and for me, it made my boobs look oddly separated? That may have been caused by my belly though!

Great Transitional Jumpsuit!
I wore this to a backyard rehearsal dinner and I really liked the way it looked! The fit was pretty spot on for me, but may be difficult for larger breasted women. It wasn't the most comfortable because the fabric has no stretch...I felt a little constricted sitting down. The shoulder straps are adjustable but very thin and also have no stretch...I almost felt like I may snap one getting in and out of a car - but luckily I didn't! Over all this is a good option for a shorter party due to the issues I had with comfort, but it is pretty cute!

Loved this dress. I didn't wear spanx under it because I don't hav me any, but probably could have used it for the tummy area. I straps were a little loose so I used fashion tape to make sure they didn't fall down. Looked great and photographed very well too!

Loved the style, ran a little tight
I'm a 4/6 in dresses usually and the SR size was very constricting in the belly and ribs area. I also am a 34A and it was SUPER tight in the bust so I don't know how a normal sized person would manage this. I did end up wearing it once out to dinner, but I wore a duster sweater over it to cover up a little and not feel so revealing in a tight dress.

This dress fit me like a glove. I did have to use fashion tape on my strapless bra in between my chest to keep the cut out from riding up, but you could easily wear this without a bra. The length was on point, and there is some stretch in the fabric which is nice. Would definitely rent again!

Pretty length but weird top
I wore this to dinner one night in the spring in Minnesota. I liked the length and the style, but the cut outs on the top of the dress dug into my sides a little...I'm a 34 A/B so I was surprised a size 6 would fit like that. There's no stretch in the fabric and there are also no adjustments to the straps (although mine were knitted as if to make them shorter, assuming someone before me had done that). It fit me okay, but I would caution that the sizing may be weird on others! Would be cute for Memorial Day.

Streamlined, Modern Work Dress
I thought this dress ran a little small! I do have a little bit of a booty, but I thought this dress fit more like a 4 than a 6. I'm ~140lbs, athletic build, and a 4 definitely wouldn't have been work appropriate. I loved how this dress fit - so comfortable! It did come wrinkled and I had to iron it, but other than that, I'd rent again!

Unfortunately, I had to send the size 6 right back. I do have a pretty athletic lower body, but I've never had to go above a size 6 in any dress so this was a little bit of a surprise. I could just pull it up over my thighs and get it on, but I couldn't zip it up myself. If you have a bigger behind, this dress probably won't work at all unless you size up substantially. That being said, it was super cute and I may consider renting a size 8 in the future!

Pretty and I got lots of compliments, but didn't fit me quite right
I got a medium in this dress and Lordy am I glad I didn't order the small. I'm athletic shaped and am usually a 4/6 in dresses, but this dress fit so strange. It was super tight in the waist band and as other reviewers noted you have to pin the slit closed. It wasn't the best choice for a horse race...I had trouble playing corn hole and sitting down. At the end of the day I unzipped the back a little just to give me some more breathing room. I'd say this dress is probably made for someone tall and very skinny and small wasted based on the sizing.

Pretty dress, definitely runs small
I really liked the pattern of this dress (and you really can't go wrong with Mara Hoffman on vacation), but the 6 was a little tight to zip up. I do have more of an athletic, boxy waist, but I'm 90% of the time a size 4 so this was a little surprising. The zip goes right below your waist on this dress, and then you tie back the back for the upper portion. PS, I also rented the Mara Hoffman Floral Mel dress this vacation and I was fine in a 4 for that. I think it just depends on your waist measurements for this particular dress!

Hawaiian Wedding....Nailed it!
I loved this dress for a wedding in Hawaii!!! It was a gorgeous thicker fabric and had the perfect pattern. The straps were too long, as other reviewers mentioned. I used both pins and fashion tape to help out and they worked all night through some pretty aggressive dancing. The top of this dress is like a corset and is very complimenting! I did have to have someone help zip it up all the way (sometimes I'm a 4 and sometimes I'm a 6, but I'm glad I sized down in this to get the full corset effect). Highly recommend! PS I also rented the Mara Hoffman rainbow flag stripe dress and I was a 6 in that one, and definitely wouldn't have fit in a 4!!!

Pretty southern dress, just not for me
This was a pretty, high quality dress that fit me fine, it just didn't do much for me. I would best describe it as cumbersome. The tie hit me too high in the waist at a weird spot, and the whole thing was just too much fabric. But hey, if you're 5'10" and skinny, it may look good on you so have at it! Definitely not for the smaller ladies.

Soft fabric, great cover up for vacation in Napa
I thought this jacket ran a little small for the sizing. It fit me fine in the arms and shoulders, but I wish it were a little longer. I wore this to keep warm over a one shoulder romper during a wine tasting. All the girls in my group loved it, so I may rent it again sometime!

Perfect for Napa!!
I rented this for a bachelorette party in Napa. I am usually a 4 in dresses but lately I've been fitting better into 6's, as the case with this dress. A 4 DEFINITELY wouldn't have worked as there is no give in the fabric. I have 34A top and this dress made my boobs look like I had C cups! Loved this dress, highly recommend for casual spring daytime.

Bourbon Street Beaut!
I wore this for a bachelorette party in New Orleans and it was the perfect dress for the affair. This dress is no fuss with its elastic band waist (although I wish it hit me in the midsection a little better. Maybe a medium would have been better for my body type?), and has a cute tie at the back. The neckline was also super elegant. It may run a tad small, so definitely size up if you're between sizes.

Glamour and Comfort!
I wore an XS in this even though I'm usually a 4 in dresses. This jumpsuit was so cute and comfy! I wore it to dinner at a fancy steak house in Nashville. The straps aren't adjustable, but since I'm so small in the chest it wasn't a problem! If you're a 4 in dresses and have larger than B bra size or broad shoulders, I'd probably go with a small. The material is kind of pleated and flowey, and probably more sparkly than it looks in the pictures! Loved it!

I loved the color and material of this dress, however, it didn't quite fit like it looked on the model. I have a boxy, athletic frame (e.g. no waist) and the elastic waistband bunched kind of strangely. I bet this dress would look great on a taller, slimmer frame!

I wasn't able to wear these because the size I ordered was too small (I ordered a size 4R and am usually a 27/28 in jeans), but they seemed to be great quality. High rise is definitely in style. The material is tight and stretchy. The color is definitely true cobalt. Would rent again, just in a larger size!

I ordered a size 4 (I'm usually a 27/28 in pants) and these pants were too small unfortunately. I would rent again, just in a larger size! They ride a little low, and I have bigger hips/butt. A size 4 would probably fit a 26 size perfect.

Super cute bow in the back! Loved it!
The small fit me drastically better than the xsmall (they're usually pretty interchangeable for me). I wore this dress out to dinner on vacation in Charleston and it was beautiful! The high neck and the bow in the back was tommy favorite part! I also loved the length and the fit. I will probably rent this dress again for a wedding. I wish it came in different colors!

Great 30th bday dress at a garden luncheon in Charleston!
I ordered the small and extra small and ended up wearing the small, which fell a little better on my body. This dress is super comfortable! I wore it on a weekend getaway to Charleston for my 30th bday and it was perfect for the event (a garden luncheon at a private residence). It's low cut, so make sure you have fashion tape and/or stick on bra. I actually forgot both and still wore it (but I have a very small chest), but it would have been better if I had!

Great Dress for a Fancy Post-Wedding Brunch!
This dress was very beautiful--I loved the pattern! I don't usually wear maxi dresses but I felt pretty and elegant. I wore this dress to a post-wedding / Mother's Day brunch at a historic plantation house. You can easily dress this dress up or down depending on the occasion. The 4R length was perfect for my height (5'5") with normal sized wedged heels. The only con was the bust...I have a very small chest and even when I adjusted the strapped almost as high as they could go, I still had some extra fabric at the center of the V-neck halter neck line. This dress may not be the best fit for small-busted ladies, but it looked fine and was a great dress for the occasion!

Elegant and On-Trend!
I loved this dress. I usually can switch between a 2 and a 4 in dresses, and the 4 fit me perfect. The fabric is light and breathable, and the rouching and the pattern hide any problem areas. It was very comfortable, photographed well, and didn't keep me from dancing! The off shoulder is also so on-trend right now! Loved this dress and wish they made it in different colors/patterns because I would definitely rent again!

Pretty dress, good for brunch or work!
First of all, apologies for the gym selfie. I took this after working out and getting ready at work on a Tuesday. This dress is gorgeous, but it does run small. I'm usually a 2 in dresses and this 4 was still tight around the waist. I think the band/belt area hits a little higher than your natural waist (hits around or just below your lowest rib). I would have been more comfortable in a 6. Also, this dress is almost impossible to zip up on your own because the skirt and belt are made of very thick heavy fabric. I managed to do it, but it was a struggle! Overall, very pretty, conservative dress, great for work or church.

The overall fit was beautiful. I will say that I am usually a size 2 in dresses and this one ran a little small. It zipped up ok, but it was pretty tight in the rib cage. I recommend getting a size up as a backup, just in case.
