Fun idea
The slits are high, yes, but they're far enough on the side that it doesn't seem that scandalous. The issue to me is the quality of the skirt. The top of it doesn't lie flat. It ooches around as you walk. The fabric is pretty, but easily pulls, so doesn't look perfect. Kind of a bummer, really.

I sized down, per other reviews and was happy I did. The shirt has holes in it, like lace, and honestly was so comfortable and cute for a bike ride in Mexico City because it provided sun coverage and ventilation.

Honestly, I thought the fabric looked more beautiful online than in person. The skirt was so short that my legs stuck to the booth at the restaurant. Uncomfortable for me, but looks great standing up.

I don’t know why I thought this would fit…,
The waist is so loose, it’s baggy and gaping. I like the idea of this, but maybe my hip to waist ratio just isn’t right. It fit in the hips and thighs and torso. 🤷🏻♀️

I expected to like this, but the waist is too loose for my liking and the pleats are a mess. There’s no way I can iron these straight and I don’t think steaming would help. If you’re not one of the first to get this one, I’d skip it.

If you’re not the first to wear this, I think it’s stretched out too much to really look very good. It’s just made of the type of fabric to do that. It’s a cute idea that needs to not hang on a hangar.

They’re fun….
But the pants didn’t fit well. The crotch was too low and waist too loose, but I doubt a smaller size would fit my thighs. I wore them out once and was pretty uncomfortable.

But I was so uncomfortable because I couldn’t make a bra work. It really is a stunning dress and a strapless bra that is low cut and has a thinner band would work. I just don’t own one and tried to make cutlets work and was tugging and pulling at them all night.
