Great pants if you are tall! Size down!
I am between a 4 and a 6 and should have listened to the majority of the reviewers who said to size down. I was afraid, though, because these pants are white. Turns out, they run large and the fabric is thick and structured and I did not find that they were see-through at all. I easily could have worn the 4 and they would have looked SO much better. I wore the 6, but had to cover the top because they were so loose they almost looked clownish. Still got compliments on the overall look, though. Loved the slits at the hem. Very cool length and details.

Beautifully made!
I think the women who thought that these ran small must have ordered their American size instead of their British size? I wear a 4/6 and the Brit 10 fits like a glove. The fabric is thin - but it is a very fine wool that drapes beautifully and I think is nice for all seasons. I rented these in the summer and I am wearing them on a 100 degree day in an airconditioned office and they are perfect! Note that they are an inky navy.

Armholes are almost to the waist!! (ok - a bit of hyperbole)
I never know what size to order in English designers. I am a 4-6 so I tried the 10. It was ok through the bust, but the hips were so large that they had a life of their own. That, and the armholes were so low that you could see the top AND THE BOTTOM of my bra on the side. Not wearable for me. Color and fabric were nice, though.

Simply gorgeous!
I rented this for my son's daytime college graduation. It is simple, elegant, luxurious, well-cut and head-turning without being showy. It fit my 5'10" frame like it was made for me - no special undergarments needed! This is the kind of understated elegance that I wish more RTR garments had!

This is belted in a weird place. Too low to be empire - too high to hit at the waist and it is too large through the waist and the hips, though it fits through the bust. I think a dress like this needs to be pretty fitted in order to look stylish and not matronly and this one comes off as matronly, saved only by the print. I don't think a smaller size would have helped - the belting is just all wrong.

If you have really long arms and a slim torso, then this is the jacket for you! Nothing ever fits me right and this fit like it was made for me! It was also super comfortable. I would have bought it but the pattern was way too memorable.

Too short to be professional
I love the idea of an easy-fitting dropped waist and that's what this dress had. Unfortunately, when I tried it on and looked in the mirror, I saw my knees and a good 4" of thighs staring back at me. No way I could wear this to work. Right back in the bag it went. Of course, I am 5'10" and this could work for somebody shorter.

Cute styling but they run HUGE!!!
I ordered the 6 because I don't like tight jeans (I am usually a 4 or a 6 in clothes). I could have pulled these off without unzipping them. The stitching was cute and fashion-forward, but I felt like I was wearing ill-fitting diapers. The shipping was delayed so I took them on vacation without trying them on first. Would have been nice in the right size.

Pretty, but boxy.
I loved the material and the colors - very unique and rich looking. However, the jacket was so boxy that when I tried to button it, it flared out strangely at the waist. I don't think I could have worn a smaller size because the sleeves would have been too short and the shoulders would have been too small. Probably a good fit for somebody of a different shape.

If you are tall and thin, this dress is da bomb!! I took the tie and wrapped it around the back, then crossed it around and tied it in the front. No elastic shows and it is a nice, thick tuxedo-looking sash. Also more professional looking than a big tie hanging in front that is longer than the dress. Dress is elegant and professional and moves like a dream. I will definitely rent this one again. It does run a little large. I am in between a 4 and a 6 (I have no hips but my shoulders are broad), and the 4 is a perfect fit.

THIS is why I hate womens' sizing!
So I am in between a 4 and a 6 - depending on the reviews I will get one or the other and usually do pretty well. So I figured I was on solid ground ordering a medium in this dress. NOPE! It was super showy and va va va voom - not what I want in a sweater dress for work. Right back in the bag. If you order it large enough, I suspect it would look nice - the fabric was nice and the stripes were cool.

This looked so adorable on other renters that I put aside my usual "no ruffles" rule and rented it. It looked ridiculous on me! Like the puffy shirt on Seinfeld, but in red. My husband asked if an eye patch came with it to complete the pirate look! I guess I just can't pull off "cute."

Simply fabulous!
My whole wardrobe is neutral so this was tons of fun! It was hard to style it without looking clownish, though. The suggestions were red (ach!) which was too over the top for me. I ended up going with a navy straight skirt with a gold zipper all the way down the back and navy tweed pumps with a gold thread. It was definitely more color than I usually wear, but fun for a day.

very flattering - felt like a boss!
The perfect rental - who wants to buy bright red pants? Red pants the type of thing that you can get away with wearing maybe once a month. These are lovely, well cut (if you like a pretty high waist and a very wide leg), but they do run large. I usually wear a six, but I think I could have easily worn the four. I wore the six anyway because a little big is fine for work.

A bit clownish - too baggy (and too short for me)
These were cute on others - not great on me. Too wide around the hips and too short. That - paired with a bright pattern made me feel a bit like I should be entering the big top. Perfect Summer Dress!
I thought this may be too shapeless (especially because mine came without a belt). The fabric is lovely, the idea so cute! I listened to prior reviewers and got a large when I should have gotten a medium. This left me with a dress that swam around my middle and looked dowdy instead of modern. I ended up wearing a navy envelope jacket over it, so it still looked nice, but not the look I was hoping for. I am giving it 4 stars because if you size it right it will be fantastic. Also, I am very long-legged and this was a good length.

fun and flirty
This is a beautifully made dress. It is really exquisite and I felt very pretty in it. I wore it for a dressy dinner in Mexico and it was perfect. I usually wear a 6 and it ran a tiny bit large through the hips, but still looked nice.

I was a Beta customer for Unlimited. There have been many positive changes. The availability of items has improved vastly and RTR has thankfully gone back to UPS (it was the abandonment of UPS in favor of the post office that caused me to cancel the first time around). I received notice that UPS is now the exclusive carrier for RTR so I thought I would give it another try. Unfortunately, the turnaround times are still an issue. I don't understand why I select an item in the morning and it takes until the next day or even the day after to get it to the carrier. My value is being diluted and I am not sure it is worth the 150+ I am charged each month (including tax).

gorgeous twist on a classic
This is far more beautiful than the picture suggests. It is stunning without looking like it is trying too hard. My only qualm with it is that it was cut a little too short-waisted for me (but I am 5'10"). I loved it anyway and got tons of compliments. I would even consider buying it if it were a bit longer through the waist.
