fit well with lots of compliments
definitely thicker sweater than expected, but it was a cold day so it was welcome. Be warned if your workplace or where you are planning to wear this runs hot!

This dress saved the day!
The night before I was supposed to receive the original dress I chose, I got an email stating that the dress was delivered ruined beyond repair by a previous customer. Luckily RTR acted fast and sent me this dress. I tried it on and quite honestly, couldn't believe I had picked out a different dress. It fit great and the angles of the color blocking really made me look slim. I'm a bit on the petite side so the dress was a bit long, however I feel like with heels the color blocking really helped me look tall too! The material was a bit thick so it might not have been the ideal dress for a hot outdoor wedding. However, the heat wasn't unbearable. (might not be the best dress for July / August though!) I have to say the customer service team really did an excellent job coming up with an option for me to wear last minute!

Too big, couldn't wear it
I rented the 44 and the 46, I got an email that the 44 was damaged beyond repair and that I would be getting a different backup dress. I tried on the 46 and it was just too loose on the top. It also came quite crumpled, which was surprising for RTR because the dresses normally come very nice.

Great in a very last minute situation, but not what I would've chosen with more time
I was invited to attend a gala event at the last minute and literally had a single day to find a dress. Unfortunately, by that time almost everything I wanted was rented. I was able to try this on at the RTR Henri Bendel location and it was the only thing that even came close to working. (Thank you Jordan for being so helpful and running around to scrounge up ANY possibility on such short notice!) The rouching on the bodice is really meant for someone with a smaller chest. (The fit guide mentions it and i would definitely underscore that point, it's NOT meant for size D and up). I had to size up to fit in the chest, but the different angles of the rouching did awkward things for my chest that weren't necessarily flattering. I absolutely LOVED the flowing skirt though! The slit is also much more modest in person.

Cute dress, but not my favorite
I rented this for a summer wedding. It was cute but slightly more snug in the chest and arms than I had anticipated. I think as a result it didn't quite flatter my body type the way I wanted it to. However, the service with RTR was, as always, excellent.

Great dress!
This was a great dress, I ordered both a 6 and an 8, the 6 fit a little snug in the hips but was overall a good fit. Unfortunately, the zipper for the 6 was broken and I was worried the dress would be ruined if I wore it. The 8 fit a bit loose but it didn't take away from the look of the dress at all! I got so many compliments and had a blast!

A little tight, but still a great dress!
Great dress! Everyone else is right, the lower half of this dress is EXTREMELY narrow. The underlayer felt very tight, however it was not noticeable due to the flowy nature of the top layer of the dress. The v-neck is very split, but with the help of some fabric tape didn't cause any problems. All in all, it worked out well and I got many compliments!
