Wore for NYE, great color, great fit, and comfortable! Agreed with others on the sleeve cuffs being on the slimmer side. They worked for my fairly average arms (maybe? is that a thing?) and weren’t uncomfortable, but could see them being a challenge for some.

I love shirt dresses, but wish this were more of a midi length than full length. Fabric bunched in the back a little as well. Overall I really wanted to like it, but don't think it was overly flattering.

Perfect for day-to-day
Another reviewer described the shirt as itchy, which had me nervous! I do notice a slight itchiness, but I get that very easily with wool so this is not bad at all. It's pretty warm and has great detailing in a Henley-sweater mix.

Definitely runs small, but the pattern and structure is great!
I had a 2 in this initially and it was much too small, the 4 works, but there's still some gaping in the buttons on the chest...and I don't have a large bust! The fabric is sturdy and gorgeous, and there's pockets! I would recommend sizing up at least one size, if not 2.

Getting them on was a fun challenge for the morning
Taking advantage of work from home going on indefinitely and trying jeans from RTR, which I was hesitant in the past to do. These were very tight when getting dressed, but some lunges around the apartment helped : ) they don't have a ton of stretch compared to other brands, but I'm sure they'd still loosen up over time. My legs are on the shorter side so the "ankle" length on me is borderline full length. All in all not bad, but be aware of the spanx-like initial fit!

As other reviewers have noted, it's a lot more sheet than expected. However, the folds of fabric and the pattern make the sheer-ness a non-issue in my opinion. I got lots of compliments and it fit great!

Loved the lace edges!
The dark colors and lace made this dress perfect for a winter wedding. The waist is slim and doesn't have much give. I wanted tights for the weather, but given the length I thought sheet black looked better than opaque black. I'll definitely look for this brand for future weddings!

This sweater is definitely cropped. I have a long torso and wore high waisted jeans, but still had to make sure I didn't raise my arms much. I think a couple other reviewers had a good idea with ordering big and wearing it purposely baggy. Still loved the colors and the knit, very comfortable and well-made.

I liked the drop waist, 70s feel to this dress, the pleated bottom made it feel shorter than it was when sitting, but it worked with tights.

One of my favorites!
I loved the bright red of this dress and the relaxed fit with the front tie gave it a little bit of extra shape. I rented this through unlimited and after wearing it 3 times I couldn't bring myself to send it back!

The patterns between the shirt and belt are really great. I had to pin the neckline a bit as it was a little too wide for me. The arm bands were also a little slim, but are elastic so it worked fine, just left a bit of a mark on my arm. Really loved this for weekend-wear!

Fun skirt length, but oddly cut top
The waist was very slim, which I have experienced with this brand before, so do size up for your backup. That said, the way the top is cut I have no idea who would actually fit it correctly. I do not have a large chest and had to wear a stick-on rather than a real bra, but it had extra fabric sticking out weird on both sides of the top. it's too bad since the cut outs are fun and the pattern / skirt is something different!

Pretty color and good fit!
Since it doesn't have buttons I used a belt to just keep it all together for a cool day. Its not overly thick, but i was fine with the heavy scarf and just a light shirt beneath on a 33 degree morning. The sleeve length just barely fits on me, so if your arms are on the longer side you may find them short. (Or maybe my arms are long and no one told me!)

Great for a spring baby shower!
I marked this as true to size, but I say that with the caveat that all Slate and Willow dresses tend to have no flex in the waist band, so if you have a narrower waist in proportion to the rest of your body you will likely be fine. Otherwise I'd say to size up on the backup. It was a good length for a family event and paired well with a Jean jacket despite the little cape on the back. Overall a comfortable and fun floral pick.

Comfortable, a little heavy for the summer heat
I loved the stretch and ruffled bottom on this, but the cut definitely shows any tummy whether yours is nearly flat or not. I still liked the dress and would rent it again, though possibly for slightly cooler weather with tights and a blazer, the material was a bit heavier than I prefer for NYC summers.

Great for summer, nice detailing
I love the shirt-style dresses normally and this was no exception. Great for work and the detail on the sleeves and bottom made it a bit more unique for a solid color. The belt was pretty wrinkled, but I was able to flatten it enough when I tied the waist that it wasn't noticeable.

Great for the hot NYC summer days!
I loved that this dress was cute, comfortable, and had a fun back. I wore a normal cross-back bra, you could see the band/clasp, but since the back is already black it really didn't stand out. Definitely a great choice for a weekend in the heat!

Perfect for work!
Loved this dress, but only gave 4 stars for a of couple reasons - there's no stretch to the waist and it's definitely slim. Size up from your normal. It felt very well made, but part of the hem on the front had come undone, I used fashion tape as a temporary fix. Also, the front panels were fine indoors, but all over the place in the wind!

Nice color and strong fabric
The lace-up neckline added some fun character to a fairly plain dress. The color is very pretty and I added a thin neon belt to give it some structure. It looked a little bag-like on me without it! Overall, I'd recommend, but maybe have a belt handy if your torso is on the smaller side!

Fun, bright dress for the summer!
I loved the heavier fabric, definitely made the spaghetti strap-look feel more substantial to wear all day. I added a thin gold belt to give it a little structure while keeping the attention on the big buttons. Definitely a fun one to wear in the heat!

As other reviewers have noted, this does run a bit short, made slightly worse by the slit over the left thigh. I still wore it to work with flats and a skinny gold belt on a casual Friday. Loved the fabric and pattern!

Great fit, love the cut-outs!
This is a tough cut for me usually, but I loved the fit of this dress! The cut outs are cute and add some casual-ness to the look. Some reviews said it was good for work, but it was a little too short for me to use for work and it rides up a little when you walk. Definitely recommend it for weekends, though!

This was very comfortable and a nice light material for the spring. It was a little large, I thought, but would probably be fine on someone with slightly broader shoulders than me. I'd still recommend it, but sizing down may work best.

Great lace detail!
I wore this with a high-waisted skirt, so the cropped length was perfect. It was a comfortable fit and I loved the lace. I marked it as runs small only because I tend to wear a 2 in tips and this one was a great fit in a 4. Definitely recommend it!

Cute shape, but runs very big!
I have a small upper body in both the chest and shoulders, but even so, an XS in shirts should really fit me. This shirt was much too large and I ended up wearing it with a belt to cinch it, plus a light sweater. It really is cute if your shape works for it, lots of potential!

Loved that the lace was a sturdy material for once!
As other reviewers have noted, this shirt is cut short and will hit along the top of your pants depending on your torso length. I found it very comfortable and didn't feel like I might tear the lace like I often do with lace dresses. Other comments mention tight sleeves, I didn't have this issue at all, but I have narrow shoulders. I also found that the button on the top of the back came undone easily, but it was a minor annoyance. Overall really loved the shirt and will probably rent again!
