Definitely size up on this one. I wear an 8 99% of the time, but I took the advice to size up from the other reviews and I'm glad I did. It was still a bit snug when I sat, but not uncomfortably so and it wasn't unflattering. I would rent again. Only thing that would make it perfect would be pockets! 

This dress is a great style. Was fairly tight and fairly short (so be aware!) - will rent again though! 

I wore this to work and got lots of compliments. It was a bit more navy than I thought so I wasn't sure what shoes to wear. I just went with black and it looked fine. It was very comfortable and perfect for work! 

Perfect = figure flattering , tailored, work appropriate without any signs of frump! 

This was a perfect dress for work. Stylish, professional cut but still fun. Does run a bit smug in the rib cage and arm holes but overall great! 

This cute pleated dress is perfect for work or brunch! It runs true to size, but recommend going up a size for backup. This dress does not have much stretch and is fitted at the bust, best for A to C cup sizes (can be worn with a standard bra). Due to the heavier material it has no stretch and is very fitted at the natural waist and throughout the midsection. At 4'11", it hit right above my knee. Throw on a pair black shoes and you are good to go!

First time to try slate and willow. Love this dress! I want to buy it. 

Fit is kind of between "runs small" and "true to size" ... I am 5'9 and it was a little on the short side, which is why it may feel a bit small to some renters. Beautiful dress! I received so many compliments. Would definitely recommend!

Size 8 pushed my 36B chest down in a strange way and gave my bosom a weird silhouette. Very snug in the hip area as well but the side hip panels did a good job of hiding any tummy pooch.

I loved the fabric and they way it laid just wish I had a size bigger.

Loved this dress, but only gave 4 stars for a of couple reasons - there's no stretch to the waist and it's definitely slim. Size up from your normal. It felt very well made, but part of the hem on the front had come undone, I used fashion tape as a temporary fix. Also, the front panels were fine indoors, but all over the place in the wind!  

I usually wear a 4 but I sized UP for my backup after reading the reviews and I was happy I did! The 4 fit just fine but because the fabric is thick and non-stretchy, sitting for long periods would have become restricting in the smaller size. 

I also thought the dress looked grey online but it's actually a navy and cream mix but very cute! 

This dress is chic. It has a unique opening in the front with the two flaps of fabric kind of covering. I wore it to work but it is a little short (I'm 5'10) and it definitely ran small. I fluctuate between a 4 and 6 and this was a 6 that was tight in the rib cage and I needed assistance to zip. The silhouette looks amazing though and I look thin in it, as a result of the tight zipping in. 
Overall, I would rent it again but in this size for more of a night out or size it up for work again. 

The dress is made so well and i know itd be a flattering fit if i could actually get the right size. Im normally a 6 And i could barely get the 8 over my hips! The pic makes it look not as tight as it really fit. I couldnt zip it all yhe way. Cute dress but 3 stars due to frustrating sizing. 

If you are curvy like me size up! I couldn't wear the dress because it was too tight around my chest and around my hips it bunched up.  Fabric has no give.

Dress was a little snug through cheat and waist so I would size up as a back up. The dress has both navy and black elements which made it easy to pair with a sweater and shoes. As mentioned, the fabric is thick but I wore it in the summer and was comfortable inside. Would rent again! 

Dress has great structure, perfect for work. Didn't flatter my body so I did t wear it.

Not the biggest fan of this dress... it looks good on but the fabric is a little stiff. But still a solid dress! Very classy. 

I wore it for my white coat ceremony at medical school, it felt just right- flattering yet formal.

Great cut, thicker material nicely holds sham.  Dress is actually navy which was a nice surprise. Wore to work even on a warm day and was very comfortable temperature wise.

I loved this dress. The color and fabric are great. But what I loved most was the cut. It's unique! I cannot recommend this dress enough. Note: I normally wear a size 6, and I was glad I got an 8. It fit well!

For someone as short as I am this dress was only a little too long. The fabric was good- very heavy and structured. It might be a little tight around the waist, but over all a comfortable fit and a solid work dress

paired it with a navy blue blazer and nude heels - got SO many compliments!!! super comfortable. definitely recommend!!!

This dress is definitely work-appropriate. It looks short on the model, but I did not find the length troubling. I feel that it's true-r to size than some of the other rentals I've had. Do it! 

The material is really nice, and the cut is cute but very tight across the hips. There's a sort of under skirt that's tight, but then the flaps are fine. I'm a pear-shaped, comfortable size 6 in most bottoms but this was really tight. The under skirt has no give which is why I couldn't wear it. Go a size up if you have hips!

This dress has thicker fabric I wouldnt wear it on a really hot day. It doesnt have any stretch. I wore it to work and loved it. 

I don't consider myself chesty, but I could barely get it zipped up. Top was too tight. Size up. It looked super cute, wish I could have worn it.

I like the cut of the dress but sitting down it was riding a bit high. I also felt that it's running a bit small. I'm usually between 2 and 4, in this one I didn't even try the 2 because the 4 was already snug around the hips.

Solid work dress, would wear again, nice material and fit 

I really liked this dress but sadly I ordered the 4 and it was too small so I wasn't able to wear it. Make sure to size up one size. There is a slip underneath that also allowed no give for the dress. I think a 6 would have been perfect.

This was a really cute dress for work. The dress is pleated, which I didn't realize. The flaps look a little silly when you sit down, but extremely flattering when you're standing.

I love this dress on the hanger, but it was another case of "I'm too short for this." 

The top part of the dress was nice and snug on me, but because I'm so short, the waist went a little too far down on my hips, and it felt awkwardly tight. But I worry that if I'd sized up, it would have been too loose up top.

I was pleasantly surprised by the material of the dress and I sized up for this order. Unfortunately, it was still a bit too snug for the work place and I wasn't able to wear it. 

This dress is super cute and looked perfect for a work event I have coming up. Unfortunately the size I requested (a 4, which I normally wear) was too small. The opening panels are a lovely touch, but the middle part hugged and highlighted some not-so-flattering areas.  Definitely will size up next time!

I rented this for work and really liked it. The bust was a bit tight, but didn't bother me too much. Definitely not a show stopper, but worked well for a presentation. Paired with a bright statement necklace to give it some color.  The front of the skirt is really pretty with the split overlap of material. Would rent again in the future for a similar event! 

Runs a little small, was a little on the tight side and I usually wear a size 4. When sitting, the front of the dress is a little on the short side. There is not much stretch or give to the dress. Well made, high quality fabric - looks great in person!

I ordered one size up and while it zipped and looked okay, it still felt too tight/small. Wish I ordered 2 sizes up! Which is strange because usually this brand is TTS on me
