A bit short but cute and feminine
I wish this dress was just a little bit longer. It was borderline too short for work so I wore flat boots instead of heels. The fabric is very thick and the color is beautiful. I loved the feminine ruffle skirt. The dress is quite flattering, I just wish it wasn't so short!

Runs big, too mod for me
I rented this based on positive reviews but the dress was just too mod/schoolgirl for me... it also runs a bit large so the fit was unflattering. Was hoping to wear to work but just wasn't a good style for me so I didn't wear it.

Way too big and puffy, not flattering
Rented this for a holiday party but it's so big and puffy it looks like a sparkly garbage bag. Disappointing. The fabric is pretty but the shape is just not flattering. Too bad, sending back and hoping to find something else in time for the party!

Too big and not flattering
I was confused by the sizing and chose the 3 based on other reviews but it was way too big. I also didn't like the fabric - it felt very starchy and hard. I expected it to be more flowy. Didn't wear.

Looks like a maternity top
I should have known when I saw one review by a woman in her third trimester that this top might not be the most flattering. I would recommend this if you are pregnant and would not recommend if you're not and don't want people asking if you are... didn't make me feel good. As many others have noted, this is two separate pieces. The under shirt is a sleeveless top and is fairly large and shapeless. The sweatshirt is too short - if it was longer it might be more flattering.

Comfy and cute
I previously rented this sweater in black and loved it. The white version is a perfect fall/winter sweater. It's warm and comfy and I love the neck. There are snaps on one side so you can adjust how high or wide the neck is. It's oversized but don't size down otherwise it'll be too short.

Way too short and boxy. Unflattering.
I knew I was taking a risk with this one since there were very few reviews. This sweater is oversized and body and also cropped. It's just very unflattering. I didn't even wear it for long enough to take a picture.

Comfy and warm but too short
This sweater is very warm and comfy. As many others have said, it's dove grey, not cream colored. The sleeves are gigantic so I rolled them but it was hard to get them to stay rolled. I loved the collar. But the sweater itself is too short and the sides are even shorter. It would be more flattering if it was a few inches longer.

Very soft but not very special...
This shirt is fine. You have to wear a cami underneath because the shirt comes completely open easily. It's very soft. I didn't love the elastic on the bottom, it made the front puff out a bit, which wasn't so flattering.

I wore this sweater so many times, even to work one day. I ordered the M because the S wasn't available but I will definitely order the S next time as it's quite oversized.

Runs very large, too much fabric
I wanted to like this dress but it just had too much fabric and was way too big. I don't remember why I sized up - maybe the small was unavailable or maybe other reviewers somehow thought it ran small? Either way, it just felt silly on me and I didn't wear it.

Didn't wear... too young and short
I didn't wear it. This looked too much like a tennis dress to wear to work... it's very youthful and short. I think it would work best on someone shorter.

So tight... couldn't wait to take it off
I read other reviews and sized up but I think even if I sized up again, this dress would always be too tight. I don't know if it was harder to get on or take off but there is almost no stretch to the fabric and I had to wrestle my way into and out of it. It hugged me in all the wrong places and made me super self conscious about my "problem areas." Even though I wasn't happy in it, I still wore it to work and put a blazer over it to make myself more comfortable. I planned to wear this to dinner after work but ended up changing because I was so uncomfortable.

Fun dress, a little short and casual for work
I was worried this dress would make me look wide so I was pleasantly surprised by the fit. It is a little bit short and the lining underneath kept riding up but I never felt uncomfortable or self conscious. Helped that I wore tights and flat boots. It's a little too casual by itself so I wore a blazer on top, which made the dress much more work appropriate. Overall I liked this dress but probably won't rent again.

Flattering and fun top
Love this top! I was worried it would be too short but it's the perfect length and I loved the longer fabric in the back. The top is structured and polished and the bottom is flowy and feminine. Felt great and got many compliments. Will definitely rent again.

The perfect dress - made me feel so pretty and trendy!
I love this dress so much I may have to buy this one! It's perfect. It's pretty and trendy and flattering and comfortable. The only thing that may bother some people is that the neck is high so if that typically makes you uncomfortable, this dress may not be for you. The way this dress sits is just adorable - I wish I could find more just like it. I'm already planning to wear it again on a business trip next week with a blazer and tights.

Comfy and flattering
Love this dress - very tempted to buy it! The heavy knit is so flattering on and is so warm and comfy in my freezing office. I paired with a navy cardigan and navy booties.

Very pretty but too much for work
The color of this dress is gorgeous and the dress itself is quite pretty but it's a little too much for work. There's also a slit on the sides that goes a bit high.

Staticky (sp?) and thin fabric
This shirt is fine but I expected it to be silky and flowy and it is not. Pretty color and pattern but the fabric is a thin chiffon so it's quite staticky and feels like it would snag and pull easily. I didn't end up wearing it because I preferred to send it back for something else but I'm sure it would have been fine with black pants. Runs true to size.

Not white and way too tight!
I've rented from RTR many times and have had very few experiences that were less than ideal... but this was hugely disappointing. I read through the reviews extensively and ordered this dress based on pictures and sizes that other girls my size said they wore. I ordered this dress for an all-white pop-up dinner in NYC. You're supposed to wear white-white but off-white is acceptable... this dress is neither white-white or off-white -- it is light brown. Despite the color disparity, I decided to try it on anyway to see if it could work. It could not. I ordered a size 4 and a size 6 as my backup. I tried on the 6 first thinking it would be too big but it ended up being extremely tight, I just barely was able suck in to close the zipper all the way. Once it was on, I held my breath just long enough to look in the mirror and decide it was the most unflattering thing I had ever tried on and immediately took it off and packed it in the UPS bag to send back to RTR right away. I called RTR to inquire about a replacement dress but their system was down so they were unable to locate available dresses in time. I ended up scrambling to stores and bought a white dress for the event. I've had great experiences with RTR in the past, so I won't hold this against them, but this was a disappointing experience all around. I do wish customer service had done more to resolve the problem, at the very least refunding me the full amount rather than putting credit on my account less the cost of shipping.

Flattering, feminine, and comfortable. A perfect dress for a Sunday afternoon wedding in September.
I loved this dress and would definitely rent it again. It was so comfortable and flattering - and it has pockets! The only con was that the lacy part fit my arms perfectly but I was worried it would rip if I raised my arms too high... I definitely danced the night away without doing so, but it felt a little tight. The bigger size felt the same and that dress was too big so I went with the smaller size - I just wish that part had a little more give. Aside from that, which really wasn't even an issue that I thought about during the event, this was the perfect dress - I loved the color, the shape, the pockets, the material, everything.

When I fell on the dance floor after tripping on the hem.
I was told that the longer dress would be a better option since I'm 5'6" and was planning to wear 3-4" heels. Boy was that wrong... the dress was around 4 inches too long and was dragging on the floor... I had to tape it, pin it and get special "temporary hem" clips and I tripped on it all night long. What a nightmare! The dress runs small, I'm usually a 6/8, the 6 wouldn't zip so I went with the 8, which was quite snug. I've rented a few other dresses from RTR and had great experiences, so this was a bummer.
