I am a size SM pre-pregnancy and ordered the small. Worn at 27 weeks - there was a ton of stretch and even extra room if you're unsure how big you'll get. Perfect cinching on the sides.

Fit wonderfully, very true to size. I felt very, very elegant for a black tie event. Because its velvet, its a little warm for a late spring/summer event. Theres also a very nice sheen on it that I didn't pick up from the online photos. Overall, gorgeous!

This was originally planned as my back up but ended up going with it for a formal black tie wedding. This dress is super formal, but also has a fun look and feel too! I usually wear an XS, ended up with a S based on reviews. No accidents :) but wish I went with the XS. The top is less flexible than the skirt area, so can imagine the tightness for most ladies but would go with a tighter top to avoid slipping. I'm also not very top heavy.
