Too much fabric at the hips
Cute dress, but the lighter panels at the hips don’t do any favors for people with hips. I may rent again in a 12 to see if I like it better.

Very casual
I thought this seemed a bit dressier than it was in person, but I wore it to work anyway on a Friday. I haven’t quite occasionally renting black dresses. When I wear them, I don’t feel like myself, and people comment on it all day. And this one, as a cotton dress, just looks a bit tired.

I’m between a 12/14 so I went with the XL, and there was a lot of fabric. If I rent it again, I’d go with a large. My younger sister, who is 5’4” also ordered this and it looked super cute on her. One thing we both said is that cotton dresses are hard to rent as they come so badly wrinkled you almost need to take them to a cleaners to press (she did, I didn’t but spent a good 30 minutes pressing this to wear it and it would have looked better had I taken it to be pressed. She was annoyed that in her order three of the items had to go to the cleaners to press. I have felt the same way very often).

Great dress, perfect for travel
My only issue with this beautifully made dress is the cap sleeves. They made it hard to move my arms around. I’m not sure I’d order again because of that. But it doesn’t wrinkle and would be great for a business trip.

Beautiful print, wore for an event
Saloni’s prints are always the best. I do wish with this style they would only have the back above the bra-line open as it makes it hard to wear to work unless you do something gross like wear a camisole, which is what I had to do. But so many compliments all day long.

If you have hips, this brand requires you to size up. But this dress is so worth it. It is lovely. But it is quite long — I’m 5’9” and it was mid-calf on me or a little longer.

I ordered this before in a 14 and was swimming in it. The 12 fit fine, though a bit loose at waist and hips. The pattern feels a bit matronly, in my opinion, but I was also hating my bangs that I just had cut, so that could be part of it 😆

Pretty dress, extremely sheer
As with many Rixo dresses, this one is incredibly sheer, so it required a slip. But it’s a good dress for winter with boots and a sweater or warmer months on its own. Lots of compliments. And I loved that it had pockets.
