As an earlier review states, it's the little details that make this dress so special--the neckline above all. I needed a sleek, professional look for an important presentation at an academic conference and this was it. The dress feels so elegant on and has just enough of the "unusual" to feel stylish yet still understated. And the pockets are a huge plus; great way to avoid nervous hand fidgeting. As for fit, even though I have a fairly large bust and wide ribcage, I was able to zip up no problem. I wish I could justify buying this dress, I love it so much!

This dress! I'd hoped to wear it for an important work presentation but between the slit and slightly snug fit it's just too suggestive for a professional setting. I suspect sizing up wouldn't solve the problem; I'm only 5'4 and the slit opens to mid-upper thigh when I'm seated. That said, I love love love the dress for a date, etc. The dress is well made, fabric feels glamorous, and structural details make it really something special. I can't wait to wear it out!

I wanted so much to love this dress--it's a very "me" dress--but found it underwhelming. I expected a snugger, more secure fit but the fabric is thinner and softer than it appears in photos. Perhaps it'd have been better had I rented the smaller size.
