I loved the pictures of this dress and I read all the reviews. The top fabric is very heavy but is stretchy. When you sit, the skirt poofs odd. The pleats were so wrinkled on arrival I had to have the dress pressed. I'm second trimester pregnant and the waistline sat right on my bump, so it was awkward (I couldn't tell if the waistline was supposed to be on my hips or empire waist...). The top was too large: the arm holes gaped and showed my bra. The top really just looked unfitted. I have been fitting into an 18 but RTR didn't have an 18 so I got a 16 and a 20. Maybe it's just because of the pregnancy bump the dress did not fit, or maybe the 18 would've fit better. I was going to wear anyway and wear a pashmina draped over the top, but I ended up not needing a cocktail dress. I loved the colors in the skirt though. Beautiful pastels.

I got this dress for an event (Sunday brunch following a Saturday evening wedding) but did it end up wearing it. I'm second trimester pregnant and the dress fit well, but was a little snug in the waist line (it felt like it did not set comfortably on my bump). I would have worn it anyway but the hem was torn and hung. I spent money to have it pressed and even took it to a RTR store but they couldn't fix it in time and didn't have another in my size. Loved the pockets. The color was not pure yellow- it was a bit on the green side. But a bright, fun color for a weekend wedding event. I'd rent if again.

As I'm pregnant in my second trimester, it's hard to feel comfortable in anything. This dress flowed, allowed me to breathe, but was still fitted. It was long and dragged a bit, but I wore flats because of the event's terrain (outdoor farm wedding). I think with heels it would be the perfect length. I got many compliments, and most people used the word "stunning." The color complimented my extremely fair skin tone. The slit up the front felt very high, but my husband insisted it was appropriate when I walked (I was a bit self conscious as there was a breeze!). I was comfortable wearing it to the outdoor wedding, but it fit so well, I am not sure how it would fit if I weren't pregnant.

I got my first dress (this one) on a Friday for a gala on Saturday evening. It arrived early afternoon but did not fit. So, I called customer service and they promptly helped me find 3 more dresses in a range of sizes because I was so unsure after my first pick (this one) was so large. Customer services promised I would have them by noon Saturday morning. I was very skeptical. I got a package at 9am! This dress was so pretty, and I loved how it fit my midsection. When I put it on my husband said "wow." The bottom skirt is very full and would've swirled around on the dance floor. I am full 38DD and the top was gaping. It's not a problem I usually have! I probably could have ordered a 14 and it would have fit. I tried to do some pinning initially, but it really just couldn't work for how formal the event was. I'm pretty sure if the dress had fit, I would've been comfortable in it. Oh, and length: I would've had to wear some pretty high heels. The lace was long and dragging on the floor. I am 5'8. It really is an amazing dress, but didn't fit my body type :( I might try to order it again in a few sizes to see if one would work.

I am a 38DD and this dress fit everywhere: my bust, hips, midsection, etc. I almost didn't wear it because we attended a gala and my husband was in a tux, and this dress is NOT floor length (I am 5'8). I did a last minute run to a shoe store and found strappy heals that I could tie up my shin and calf so as to make the length of the dress seem intentional. The dress was dressy enough elsewhere, just wish it had been floor length. Overall I felt great in it, and received a lot of compliments.

The dress length was perfect (I am 5'8) and the martial makes this dress incredibly comfortable. It's stretchy so it's very forgiving and overall it was very flattering. However my husband and I were attending a gala and he was in a tux. The dress was not dressy enough for the event. I tried to dress it up by changing the neckline to off-the-shoulder sweetheart neckline, and that dressed it up some, and maybe if I had a statement necklace I could've made it work, but time was not on my side. I think, though, it came down to the material. I'd probably order this dress again but for something less formal.

The dress length would have been perfect (I am 5'8) but my stomach is not toned, and this dress showed off EVERY curve... even the ones that are not flattering. This dress did not fit me, but I probably would have ordered a 16 and I'm not sure if that would have fit me either. I probably would recommend ordering a size bigger than what you typically wear. I didn't particularly like the jeweled/broach thing on the stomach. Maybe because it showed off that area. It looked nice on others in pictures, but it wasn't my taste.
