A 6 may have been better. The tie area was not fitted and so felt more matronly than I prefer (especially since I'm 7 months pregnant). Fabric is thin.

I wore this dress to a wedding on New Year's Eve and loved it. I received lots of compliments. The fit was exactly what I was looking for to make my hips less noticeable. I am very glad I ordered one size up because I ended up wearing the bigger size. The only issue with this dress was that it snagged when I hugged people with sequins. Very happy with it!
