Pretty in Pink!
Great fit, good for curvy and great cocktail dress. It worked for the event we were at which wasn't black tie but still formal. I needed at last minute and RTR once again saved the day. Dress was waiting for the event in under a few days notice. STELLAR

Perfect gown, compliments ALL NIGHT LONG!
Probably one of my FAVORITE formal gowns I've rented - if I could, I would give it even more stars. I was hesitant at first renting this gown but the petite length did it for me and swayed me to go for it. It is form fitting so SPANX undergarments are a MUST to take care of the jiggle/side bumps. You can wear a regular bra flesh or beige - the gold fabric allows for it. I had so many compliments and WOW reactions all night. I felt beautiful and this dress did it. I also wore plain black heels and STATEMENT earrings and bracelet is the way to go, necklaces would detract from the beautiful gold detail on the back and neck. I loved this b/c it was very conservative in neckline but WOW in the rest of the factor. A MUST RENTAL in the future for me!

Great dress for a Petite Curvy Shape!
I knew I had an evening cocktail/benefit and wanted something I could move in and be comfortable. I'm in a bit of a larger size and worried about bulges and curves. This was PERFECT - it hugged my curves (spanx is good of course) but I was comfortable during the night and didn't feel like I was "stuffed" into a dress. The design trains your eye away from problem areas. It came down on my 5'2 shape below the knee which also was comfortable and conservative. The 12 was a little snug so I went with the 14 to have some give. Some petites may not like the longer length so be warned. Lots of compliments on the dress all night!

PERFECT BAG and able to hold more than a lipstick!
Loved this bag-- I loved the rose gold color/copper of the bag. AND it was a small cocktail bag but finally not so small like others that you can only fit a lipstick in! I was able to carry an android phone, a small change purse and the lipstick with room to spare. Loved the owl face shape on it. LOTS of compliments!

Simple, elegant, and stunning!
Loved these earrings - I've rented before and paired with a Trina Turk rental and this last time. I chose b/c of the blue which was in both dresses. Although these would go with a formal gown OR something more casual. I know I'll rent again b/c they are not heavy AND not too big. I'm not a big earring kind of girl so they didn't make me feel self-conscious.

PERFECT for the GOWN - Compliments ALL night and again in photos!
This was an accessory sent when the other necklace I had chosen for my event had been returned beyond repair by a previous RTR user. WOW! I think this worked better than my first choice! Julianne at RTR sent this one as a substitute and I received compliments all night long. I think it complimented PERFECTLY the Flora Chiffon Badgley Mischka I was wearing. It is definitely a statement piece so ensure your dress is simple in style and has the neckline. - it needs an open neckline- heart shaped OR strapless. The wideness of the necklace may not work for those styles which are more defined (v-neck or square). I paired with the Crisol Crystal Tear drop earrings -as mentioned in other reviews- the beige/pearl look pieces are a light wood but any dress or style with green or crystal/diamond looks are perfect. The crystal and green stones are a light green but it offsets the dark kelly green of my dress. It was nice and light - NOT heavy like you might expect. I was able to wear this for my event --- AND also paired it with a work dress the day before that had a heart shape neckline to "test drive" -- worked for both FORMAL and INFORMAL - bonus! I'll rent this piece again for a summer outdoor event OR for a formal event if I wear a GREEN or strapless dress again.

Back-up dress beautiful - runs large though!
This was one of my back-up gowns and although the other gowns by same designer worked in torso, bust areas this one ran much larger and I felt like I was swimming in chiffon. Not sure if a size down would have worked since I was challenged in bust area with other gowns at that size. Once again, regular is great if you are a petite/short size but have over 5 in heels - you would have to lift and carry hem on this one too or do a temporary fashion hem tape fix - although the material in the front would still need a lift given the design.

Great Gown for Formal Affair - Heart Ball/Benefits, Valentine's, Holiday!
I didn't end up wearing this one - went with my first option the Flora Green Badgley Mischka but would do this one IF I had 4 inch heels or higher -- the regular length for PETITE frames is LONG. I would have had to carry/lift the hem on this one all night.

My Fairy Godmother Chose RIGHT for this "Cinderella!"
Rented this gown based on reviews -needed a black tie/formal affair gown for a gala. I requested 12P/14P - If you have a bust above a C or broader shoulder/back area, you will need to SIZE UP. Accessories (Kate Spade Tropical Jungle Statement Necklace and Crislu Petite Crystal Tear Earrings) were PERFECT!!!! Also paired it with a cropped black cardigan of my own which was perfect for the slight chill outside AND the A/C indoors. Gown Take-Aways: Great strapless gown, gorgeous color! If you are a PETITE lady - I'm 5'2 - and don't want to wear 5 in or higher heels, make sure you have the petite NOT the regular. - If you get the regular, ensure your event has limited movement AND you are going to be seated - otherwise you have your hands full lifting hems and making sure you don't trip. - if you go higher in heel height, you can probably pull it off - i personally hit my limit at 5 in heels. Zipper is TIGHT - don't be afraid to give it a GOOD tug - my husband was out of town, and I ended up having to wrestle it solo - take a few breaths and then take control of that gown. STRAPLESS PERFECTION - the dress compliments your torso/bust/back without being too "showy" or (ahem) spilling out of the dress. I also did NOT have to adjust - aka the strapless tug - during the evening. Probably a good thing since I was already obsessed with the hem. Compliments abound "look" - expect MANY compliments when you wear this one- and enjoy the silent joy that comes with knowing everyone else around you spent way more on their dresses than you did. COMFORT - BRILLIANT. I was comfortable in this dress. I had the same ease as when I wear comfy yoga pants and a tee. The flowy material, breathability of the fabric, and pure comfort MADE this gown a winner. I was NOT restricted in my torso/bust and if you have any problem areas in your waist/hips/backside, you are golden in this gown. DEFINITELY recommend this dress.

Cute bag, complimented my outfit but SMALL!
I loved the weight, feel and size of this bag. The gold mesh of the bag complimented the rest of my outfit (Trina Turk Felana, AV Max Tetra Necklace, Elizabeth and James Miles Stud earrings) and was the perfect clutch to go out to dinner which was a "dressed up" casual feel. The size of the bag is SMALL. I could only fit a tiny wallet which held a few credit cards and license, a lipstick, AND an iPhone - which I use for work and wanted to test for this review. I have a Samsung Galaxy and it just was too "tall" to fit in the bag so no dice there. Wouldn't have been able to fit my entire keychain - thank goodness for valet! You are not going to fit much else in this bag so if you are a purse "needs everything" I recommend another bag. This was perfect for an evening out -

Perfect dress for my husband's 40th Birthday Bash!
I LOVED THIS DRESS! We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday party and I wanted something that would still be bright and take advantage of our last few "days of summer weather" in the South. THIS WAS PERFECT! I ended up wearing the 14 instead of the more "fitted" 12. I normally would have gone with the 12 which did hug me a little tighter and looked GREAT - however, we were going to a Brazilian steakhouse and truthfully didn't want to feel uncomfortable and be able to "eat" without being self-conscious. I am a D-cup and BOTH the 12 and 14 were ideal and I did NOT feel like the bust was stretched - nor did I have "back roll" issues. When I first got the dress I wondered how the stretch of the fabric would go and I am pleased to say the dress was SUPER comfortable - 12 as I noted is a little more form-hugging on my curves and tummy/hip problem areas but in a POSITIVE way. Just knowing I wanted more "room" I went with the 14 at last minute. However, my husband was WOWED with both size dresses. Also, fabric is a heavier weight so know it is a substantial shift dress which will work for who need "forgiveness" in problem areas. The pattern as other reviewers mentioned is BRIGHT and colorful - the prominent colors are so varied you can essentially "match" up with many accessories. I also paired a little black cardigan - air conditioning and some rainy damp weather we had this weekend necessitated but it made the dress work even better! I wrote in the AV Max Tetra necklace review that I had no less than 4 women STOP me on the way to the restroom and ooh and ahh over my dress. WINNER!! (P.S. I also wore the Elizabeth and James Miles Stud earrings and Whiting & Davis Birdcage clutch.) TOTALLY renting this one again for any future work events, more "casual" evening events, and during the warmer spring/summer weather. LOVED!

Small and petite - perfect compliment to AV Max Gold Tetra Necklace!
First, I apologize that the picture does NOT show the earring. However, I wanted to include the picture of the entire look to emphasize that I paired these earrings because the AV Max necklace I had rented seemed to have similar design elements and wanted something "simple" since I knew the necklace and bracelet I was wearing were "statements" of their own. These were sweet, elegant and went perfectly with the entire outfit I had on (Trina Turk Felana and Whiting & Davis Birdcage clutch also pictured) I needed comfortable and these were incredibly petite and light. If you need simple, gold, and comfortable - get these earrings! I will rent again for a day OR evening outfit in a heartbeat.

Great statement piece without overwhelming your style!
I rented this gorgeous necklace to compliment a custom bracelet I had received from my husband and it was perfect! Wore it to a dinner party for his 40th birthday and it was a hit...had 4 women on my way to restroom stop and compliment the necklace and dress...to me that is a STYLE WIN! I wore it with the Trina Turk Felana which I knew had a different neckline but the necklace was adjustable to work perfectly. I also got the Elizabeth & James Miles Stud earrings and the Whiting & Davis Birdcage clutch to finish out the look - perfection. For those who want a good statement piece without feeling OVERWHELMED it was elegant, classy and simple given the loud print of the dress. DEFINITELY will rent again!

Anniversary perfection!
I rented this dress for our first anniversary dinner. I needed something formal and also something I could be comfortable in during potential humid weather. This dress was PERFECT! The lace was not scratchy and the dress moved and was flexible in wear. I was able to enjoy my dinner and not feel like I was going to burst out of the dress either (for those of you who often pray you don't have to eat - you can in this dress!) I had many compliments and the blue of the dress was gorgeous. I planned on NOT wearing a necklace, however, my anniversary gift was a necklace so the jewelry needed to be switched up a bit - it still worked well and didn't get caught on the material. It was on the conservative side - so don't wear this if you want something daring or flashy. I loved it because it was young but not too short or daring. Overall, I will rent again for another affair if I need something on the more conservative side. Pearls, statement jewelry will work but one thing i loved about the lace overlay was you could go with great earrings and not worry about a necklace with this one. Fit to my petite size quite nicely - you can see it wasn't too short and came just above my knee. On taller women, it may be your call on length being shorter (like on the model). The waist and bust worked out great - hid the problem areas and didn't feel like i was straining with a larger chest.

Simple, conservative, summer event sensational!
Wore the dress for an after-work, professional and somewhat conservative late afternoon/evening event. It was a cocktail type of event; however, more "business attire/event" instead of formal. I did rent as many reviews did say this dress was "simple" in style and appearance. In the midst of the heat of "Southern Summer," I needed a dress which would be conservative enough to be around community donors and not be just another LBD. The dress is heavier fabric, however, even in the "heat" of going from work to event I did not feel confined or overheated. I liked that the dress felt well-made and comfortable. ALSO - not a lot of wrinkling which is always a plus after several hours of networking. I don't believe it would not be as appropriate for an outdoor event in the summer heat of the South though- but in temperate spring/summer would be perfect. LOVED the style and had NUMEROUS compliments on my dress and the necklace (also an RTR rental- Slate & Willow Wildflower Necklace). I loved it because I felt very confident and not self-concious - no fabric bunches and not tight in "problem areas" of bust or midsection. It is TRUE TO SIZE - for those who may be a little bustier, you may want to go up a size. Also I am a petite and you can see the dress was below my knee so if you are looking for a "shorter" dress you may not be as pleased. Since our event was not flashy, it worked to my advantage and comfort. One quick note: the photo was taken AFTER the event, so you can see the dress holds up quite well after an evening of wear. Will totally rent and consider in the future!

Spices up and makes a STATEMENT with simplicity!
Wore this at a conservative, evening work event/celebration and had MANY MANY compliments throughout the evening. The dress I wore (also an RTR - Trina Turk Tender Love Care) had a scoop neckline and was VERY simple. I would recommend wearing this with a simple sheath dress or top you want to "make a statement" without being overwhelming. If there is a complicated collar or extra design, it may not work as well. It is very CLEAR so wear if you want it to have a more subtle look - aka no color pop! It settles right on your collarbone and only once in a while was I aware of the "points" of the flowers - I had initially been concerned my neck or face would have been bothered by brushing against this but it was much lighter and not bothersome to wear. PERFECT for the event, and I WILL rent again for the future!

Perfect choice of a LBD to dazzle at a very formal event! WINNER!
My second time renting and LOVED this time around. I needed a formal dress for a black-tie Chamber event - normally would have spent way too long (and way too much $$) finding a dress to this annual event - I had a quick turnaround to find the perfect dress and RTR once again saved the day. Working with the Go To Girls, I narrowed my choice down to this lovely dress. It was perfect - compliments and praise all night long. It really rocked the event - and as you see, the red carpet too! I got both the 12 and 14 - usually end up between sizes - I went with the larger size b/c of my bust - the 12 wasn't going to allow me breathe b/c of the (ahem) "girls." However, fit great - did wear shape fitting garment to smooth the look of the dress - the material and weight of the dress is very exquisite - the 14 was in perfect condition. I'm a short girl, but this dress worked very well with the event, movement, and comfort - yes, comfort! I didn't feel restricted or uncomfortable in my dress all night - sitting and standing. I would suggest identifying a necklace or a shawl. I felt any pictures with my bare shoulder seemed a little plain - but that can be taken care of accessories in the future. I didn't go with one as it felt like it may overshadow the decorative ruffle. THAT would be my only update if and when I do rent the dress - and chances are I will!

I rented this as a compliment to the Kate Spade bracelet I wore for my rehearsal dinner. I went with these earrings because I wanted something SIMPLE and traditional and they fit the bill perfectly. What a great match they made with the gold and white I was wearing from head to toe.

Amazing look for my bridal luncheon!
This was a fun dress, which believe it or not was a substitute since the Peter Som Go Out with a Bloom dress I had originally ordered was not returned in time for my rental. I enjoyed the dress and the different look it provided for my bridal "Bubbly & Breve with the Bride" party the day before our wedding. I wasn't sure how the almost "poncho" look would work but it seemed to receive lots of compliments. I had to do some slight pinning before wearing it out - if you are petite be aware it may need some pinning and adjustments for your frame. I'll be honest, it was a beautiful dress but I definitely did NOT look like the model and it felt like i was swimming in it :-/ It was a good substitute- but probably won't rent again b/c it wasn't really my favorite look. KUDOS to RTR for helping me find it and their fantastic customer service - especially since I would have been without a dress for the party if a substitute couldn't have been made- Not bad for a few hours turnaround - could NEVER have done that with a store purchase!! P.S. Sorry the picture is not "full on" - we were having more fun at the gathering than worrying about taking photos!

Vintage Romance and perfect look for Wedding Day!
I picked this clip out as an accessory for my wedding day - my hair stylist oohed and ahhed over the clip when we were getting ready and everyone said it was perfect and matched my gown like it was made for the look. It accented my hairstyle, accessories, and gown without overwhelming so I could create a statement and have a clip which was ideal and couldn't have been more perfect. It held up to the entire day and night - even when it was accidentally jostled during dancing with my husband and family and friends - it stays secure and in place. PERFECT!!!

"Something Blue" for the Rehearsal Dinner at our Wedding!
The bracelet was beautiful and received SO many compliments from friends and family. The clasp and safety are in good condition, no stones or flaws could be seen on the bracelet. I wanted to have a "lead-in" to the wedding day and knew this would make a great statement for the event! It let me have some fun AND fabulous bling as we celebrated in the mountains in anticipation of our "Big Day." My favorite thing about the bracelet was knowing I was wearing some beautiful designer jewelry and rock the party - with the secret & ease of Rent the Runway. P.S. Delivery and return was SUPER EASY. I had it delivered to hotel in Asheville and then shipped back out from the hotel I was in before the wedding. No complications!
