I am not a crop top gal— in fact, this may have been my first ever? But I have a shorter torso so this top with the high waisted skirt was perfect, and I felt great in it. The top is indeed sheer— I wore it with a black Skims “fits everybody” scoop bra and though you could see it in the back it actually looked fine. I didn’t realize the early AM mirror selfie with eye patches would be my only pic in this dress so blocking my face, but this dress was perfect for an all day backyard bbq/pool party situation! Surprisingly this neckline and smocking was really flattering (not always the case for D cups!) After reading the previous review, I wore a less-tight strapless bra that I was able to line up with the lower cut under arms and it didn’t show. RTR recommended an L but I may might try the M next time because I might have preferred the dress hitting a little closer to my waist.

This is the third iteration of this dress that I’ve rented and it never ever disappoints! I wore this to a bar mitzvah, where I needed an outfit that was conservative enough for the service but then fun/appropriate for the party after. I am an 8/10 and the large fit perfectly. Others did not lie that the zipper is super hard to get over the waist- you will not be able to do this alone! But otherwise it was both flattering and comfortable to wear all afternoon and evening.

This dress lives up to the hype- it was so fun for a friend's birthday. I'm glad I listened to the reviews and sized up to a large. The one caveat I'll give is that it's a really great standing dress- once we sat down for dinner I was just twisting around a lot trying to get comfortable, pull the sides down etc. But this would be so great for a wedding or event where you are standing and dancing most of the night. I am a true 10 and I found this tighter than I liked in the midsection and also shorter than I expected - it fit but I know if I'd worn it out, I would have felt self-conscious. My husband did like it on me but I just couldn't get comfortable in it. I am 4 months post partum and have been wearing a 30 in jeans. I have another wide leg pair from Madewell that is a 29 so when many reviews said to size down, that's what I ordered. However, I could easily button these, but once on they looked too tight in the pelvis and thigh area. Had to send them back and will wait for the 30. Just wanted to offer a counter opinion since so many reviews said size down- remember these are very form fitting jeans so you might want to give yourself some room!

The brand Cinq a Sept is so chic, and this sweater is no exception. I was nervous that it would be too boxy and bulky (I have broad shoulders and a bigger bust) but it was so cute and I got multiple compliments every time I wore it. I loved the shape and idea of this top, and I did listen to the advice of other reviewers to size up to a large. However, it was even tighter fitting than I expected and honestly, I was just all boobs! (with a little bit of muffin top thrown in for good measure). For anyone who has above a B cup, I would suspect you'll find yourself in the same situation. If there are other new moms who have to go to weddings and want to feel great, rent this dress! The cut creates a natural curve that is so forgiving and flattering to a larger chest and some extra tummy (and a pair of spanx helped with that too) . I loved this top so much I made my husband take this awkward photo of me so I could include it with my review! Though its billed as a crop, it really is not- granted I have a short torso but I wore it with higher waisted black jeans and it came well over them. The color is beautiful and really flattering on a brunette. I wore this top to a work breakfast, to the office, out for drinks with friends and then later out for Valentines Day and got so, so many compliments. The arms aren't overly sheer which made me feel okay about wearing it to work. If muffin top is your self-conscious thing, this will work for you because it is just loose enough to skim past that. First, I want to say that this dress was more casual in person than it looks in the photo-- I rented it for a cocktail wedding and I'm not sure I would have worn it even if it had fit. One major difference in the dress I got in person was that those two "stripes" over the darts on the dress were white, instead of the black pictured. That to me made it look more casual. This is also two pieces that are only connected in the front but open in the back-- I didn't realize that from the photos. The material is thick and the print is more prominent in person than it looks in the photos, which I didn't love. I also confused the European sizing-- the largest size available was a 38, which I thought was an 8 but is actually a 6, so it was too tight to wear.

Past reviewers said it ran very big so I got a small, but the small was noticeably too tight in the shoulders and bust! If you are a girl who likes to showcase her legs, this dress is for you! I wore this for my best friend's big birthday night-on-the-town, and it was absolutely perfect. I rented this dress for an outdoor wedding on a farm where guests were encouraged to change into cowboy boots for the reception, and had nothing in my closet that would work. I am usually an 8, but I had a Goldilocks moment with this dress-- the 8 was really tight and the 10 was too big. I probably could have worn the 8 but it was a long day with an afternoon ceremony and a reception long into the night with great food, so I opted to wear the bigger dress and be more comfortable. It is a gorgeous royal blue color, the pictures really don't do it justice, and it looks great with cowboy boots if anyone ever finds themselves in that same predicament!

Just to echo the other comments, this dress runs very small. I am a true 8 but figured I would wear a 10 based on the reviews, but RTR was out of the 10 on the day I needed the dress. So I tried the 8, and it was VERY tight and not appropriate for the work event I needed it for, so I couldn't wear it. However, if it had fit properly, it would have been a perfect dressy yet work-appropriate dress, if that's what someone is looking for! I am busty and was worried that it would cut too low in the front but that was not the case. Just FYI, I ordered the DVF Bam Pow dress as the back-up and that was a fantastic choice!
