This dress is amazing. I wore it to the Met gala on NYE and it was precisely the right mix of conservative and sexy. I paired it with a sparkly bracelet and earrings, as well as shimmery black DKNY nylons (revealed by the high, but not inappropriately so, slit at the front). In terms of fit, I thought the dress ran a little large; I'm almost always a 6 but the 4 was a much, much better fit. The draping across the torso is gorgeous and I disagree with the reviewers who thought the fabric at the hips makes this dress a poor choice for women with curves -- I actually found it to be very flattering. At 5-5", wearing 3 inch heels, the long was perhaps a tad long, but not so much so that it interfered with my evening. My only regret? That I don't have a good full-length photo in this dress!

I am a pretty true size 6 and that size is apparently no longer available in this style. But because I loved the dress so much I ordered it in a 4 and an 8... unfortunately, I couldn't move in the 4 and was swimming in the 8, so didn't wear either. That said, I could tell from the 4 that the dress was beautifully constructed and would be lovely and flattering in the right size. (Note: RTR being wonderful and helpful as always, gave me a credit for this style; hopefully they'll replace the size 6 so I can use the credit towards it!)

I rented this dress for my birthday and could not have been happier -- it's super chic and sexy without being over the top, and (bonus!) it's very comfortable. I ordered the small and medium and opted to wear the small though, truth be told, there was very little difference between the two sizes. The material is very stretchy and form-fitting, but because of the double-layering, spanx/tights really aren't necessary (tyay!). Rent this dress!

The color of this dress is gorgeous -- a really deep pink that's somewhat less coral than it appears online. I do think it runs a bit large; I'm a pretty consistent 6 and would (I think) have been far happier in a S. (This was my backup dress, so I didn't have a second size.) Unfortunately, the dress required so much pinning and taping that I was scared to move, making it suboptimal for dancing. The neckline plunges almost to the waist, and the arm holes are extremely large/low. And unless you're happy braless, I'd pass on this dress, as even a nubra shows.

This is a great rental -- the color is far more vibrant in person than it appears online; the fit is great; and dress appears well made. The belt is comically ugly (think childhood dance costume), but it is easily removed, so no problem there. All that said, I rented this dress for a weekend in Las Vegas and didn't end up wearing it, as it seemed sort of out of place. I think it would be better suited to a more tropical vacation, or even a girls' night out in New York.

I recently rented this dress for a black tie wedding, and I simply cannot say enough good things about it. The dress is beautifully constructed, extremely flattering, comfortable, and will make you feel like a rockstar! Just be warned that it runs very large. I am a pretty consistent 6 and I was very happy that I rented this dress in a 2. (Having taken one of the showroom appointments, I happily discovered this in advance of my event.)

Sorry to say it, but lovely as they appear online, these earrings are dreadful in person. They look cheap and plasticky... completely unwearable...

I ordered this dress for New Year's eve and was very pleased. I had some serious reservations about wearing something this short and tight, but it was actually incredibly flattering and not overly revealing. In case it's useful to others, I'm 5-5 and generally wear a 4 or 6, and the small fit beautifully. Wear it for an evening of compliments!

I ordered the 6R and 4R as back up. The 4R fit beautifully but was WAY too short -- at 5-5 this was a bit of a surprise. I ended up having to wear the 6, as it was a few inches longer, but as a result the dress was pretty loose and I spent much of the evening hiking it up. Most disappointingly, I called RTR as soon as I received the dresses and realized the sizing problem, and asked whether it would be possible to swap them out for the long version -- even if it required me to pay more/pick it up somewhere in Manhattan, and RTR did not accomodate. Overall, not a great experience.
