I loved this dress and received so many compliments on it.  For being such a simple silhouette it stands out in the crowd.  I wore this for a very special business luncheon and it was perfect.  

Dress was very tight around hips....collar didn't quite cooperate.

I ordered a size 10 initially as other reviewers suggested it ran small, and a 10 is usually my size for this maker. When the 10 arrived on Friday morning for my Saturday night event, it was really too large. By the time I tried it on and called RTR though, it was 5:30 Friday evening. The customer service person could not have been nicer; she checked inventory and a size 8 was available, so she offered to overnight it to me for Saturday delivery. The whole phone call took less than 5 minutes. The smaller size arrived Saturday morning and it was a great fit. Loved the dress, the fabric is great, and it was a nice change from the LBD in my closet. Overall, a very user friendly experience!

This dress was a little baggy in the chest area for me, but it fit tightly in the hips. I'm glad I went with the size 4. I wore a belt to cinch in the waist though since it was a little loose. The collar didn't stand up like it does in the photo, probably from wear. Overall, I really liked this dress. It was comfortable, classy and great for a dressy wedding. 

You and I have similar shapes. Did you like the way this dress fit around your hips? I'm always a little nervous about the straighter cuts. Also, would you recommend going up or down for a backup size? Thanks for your help!

The fit was quite comfortable, however be aware that the collar  is very high in the back. I wore my hair up and it caught on the hook and eye closure repeatedly. A minor annoyance, but otherwise I loved this and would rent it again.

was the zero tight. i am usually a 0-2. weigh 112. would u suggest 0 or 2

The zero was a bit tight on the hip/thigh area. When I sat down, I kind of had to nudge it up to be comfortable. Definitely get the 2 as a back up size. I did like though how fitted & flattering it was! 

Classic and chic. Runs snug along chest and hip area. Not suggested for bigger bust or curvy women. Beautiful, beautiful dress. 

I rented this dress for the Grammy's and it worked out really well, with the exception that the chest area was rather small. I'm in C cup and it was too tight across that area. I did manage to use the dress and it worked out great.

Fun cut with the collar.  I have a very large bust and the top fit perfectly in the size 8 but it was a little baggy around the waist.  

I loved how the dress looked and made me feel. Do avoid stairs because the tight skirt makes it hard to bend your knees.

I loved this dress! The collar is awesome, dramatic and classy. The fit at the waist is a little strange, (maybe it was just the way the dress was pressed), but it looked like there was supposed to be a little pleat at the waist, but it was undone and just looked kind of bunchy. I loved it anyway.

This dress was perfect fit everywhere, hit just below my knee in the narrow area, and very flattering in the waist and rear (hiding everything that needed hidden, while accentuating all the good points!). The EXCEPTION was my bust area:  I could barely get it zipped with even my "smallest" bra and it totally smashed me in an unflattering, uncomfortable way.  However, I "sucked it up" and wore it, and still received tons of compliments while feeling very polished.  Going up a size would have destroyed the drape of the waist/hips and been too long. This is perfect for an art gallery opening or something similar.  Nobody would be better dressed! (Just don't breathe too deeply!)

I have wanted to rent this dress for a long time but did not have the right occasion. I rented it as a back up for a charity event at a museum and was unable to wear it because it was too small. I am larger busted and could not zip it up! The material has zero stretch but I could tell that it is an amazing dress. I would absolutely suggest this for someone who is smaller chested!

I am a pretty true size 6 and that size is apparently no longer available in this style.  But because I loved the dress so much I ordered it in a 4 and an 8... unfortunately, I couldn't move in the 4 and was swimming in the 8, so didn't wear either.  That said, I could tell from the 4 that the dress was beautifully constructed and would be lovely and flattering in the right size.   (Note:  RTR being wonderful and helpful as always, gave me a credit for this style; hopefully they'll replace the size 6 so I can use the credit towards it!)

Collar on size 0 didn't stand up and size 2 was too big.  Wish I could've worn. 

I didn't end up wearing this dress because of a huge storm that delayed deliver (RTR took good care of me, though, per usual!)  Great dress, but it does run small.  I'm usually a 4, and the 4 fit, but it's not very forgiving fabric and I was a little broad shouldered for it (and maybe too tall for it?)  Anyways, great dress, but I would definitely recommend getting a 2nd size when you order.  

OK the collar was a little hard to keep up

I found the 2 large, with a strange gaping in the stomach area. But it was a beautiful dress, very simple but very elegant. 

This was my backup dress and I did not end up wearing it to my fashion show charity event.  The black seemed a bit dull and I had trouble making the collar look as good as in the picture.  I should have ordered a 2 as the 4 was too big for me.

This material looks like something formal in the picture but it feels like vinyl.  It was not at all dressy enough for the events that I was going to. 

I wanted so badly to love this dress, but it just didn't happen for me. It's very ill-fitting - tight and an awkward length, at least for someone shorter like me (5'2). It'd probably work well for someone very tall and thin, but that may be it. Also, in the pictures it looks like it has a cool hood/cowl thing going on - it looks better online. I have to say, though, that RTR customer service was AMAZING - they were able to get me a new dress asap and free of charge. The best!!! (And I loved the new dress.)
