I wear a 6 or 4. RTR suggested the 6, it was a little too big, but still wearable. My biggest issue was the long string in the front slit that makes it adjustable. I tried tape to keep it back, it worked but was awkward. Then the dress got very wrinkled within 15 minutes of sitting. Changed into something else and didn't wear. Fabric and color were beautiful, but couldn't navigate the other issues.

Two issues with this dress: #1. The sleeves - the denim really makes them stand out. They were too big for me, felt space vibes. #2. Its kind of tight and unflattering at the waist/tummy. Looked cute in the pics and reviews -in reality not for me.
