I'm 5'8" and I thought it was too short in the front for me and too tight in the hips, so it personally just didn't work out for me with those things combined. It definitely runs small. Otherwise, it was a cute skirt!

Unfortunately, I couldn't wear the dress. I would have needed to size up twice for it to fit (and it wasn't available in the size I needed). Otherwise, it was even more gorgeous in person than in the pictures. It would have been perfect for the fall wedding I was attending. It is lined and heavy from the sequins, so it's perfect for a chilly evening.

Even though they don't look it in the picture, these earrings are extremely light and easy to wear. They make a statement, but aren't over the top. You could wear them for a number of occasions, and while they aren't overly dressy, they're very pretty in person. I would have given them five stars, but the backs that came with the earrings them barely stayed on (literally one of the earrings fell off within two minutes of me wearing them). I reinforced the backs with small plastic backs of my own, but even then I was worried they would fall off. I'd be careful wearing them, but I'd definitely recommend them based on their look and style!

This dress is amazing!!! I ordered this as my backup dress for a casual outdoor wedding and ceremony, and ended up wearing it. It does run a little large, so I would size down from your normal size as a backup. The smaller size looked better on me. The fabric is so comfortable, and the pleating in the front is very forgiving and hides any problem areas! I wore it with gold jewelry and wedge sandals with a slight heel. It was a little long on me without shoes on, but had no problem with the wedges on. A must-rent!

I saw this dress on RTR a few months ago, and it was so beautiful and all the reviews were good, I decided I needed to rent it. I thought to give it a shot for my friend's wedding rehearsal dinner. I placed my order about 3 months before the event, and actually ended up gaining some weight between the time I rented it and the event, so I was afraid that neither of the sizes I received would fit, but hoped for the best since the reviews said the dress ran large. I was really surprised that I was able to wear the smaller of the two - it was snug (mostly in the chest), but less billowy of the two and looked better when I ended up belting it. While the dress was absolutely beautiful in person - I loved the colors, print, and the fabric - I think it was just not "me" and possibly too dressy for the occasion. I threw a magenta belt over it to make it more casual, which I think helped, but I was sad that I felt uncomfortable in it and was ready to take it off at the end of the evening. I did receive a number of compliments on the dress, though. Because I loved the colors and print, I think I would've personally preferred the Hydrangea Dream Sheath instead of the maxi. As for the length, I am almost 5'8" - one dress I received was regular length and the other was a long, and both looked fine on me with 3.5" wedges. I would recommend this dress, but unfortunately, it just didn't work out for me. As for the shipping and rental process, I have rented from RTR many times before with no problems, and this time was no exception - thanks, RTR!

I had rented dresses before from RTR, but this was my first time renting accessories/jewelry from them. The earrings ended up being perfect for my bridesmaid ensemble for my friend's wedding! They were very sparkly but not over the top, and a nice size - not too big and not too small. They were extremely comfortable and didn't feel heavy at all. If you're looking to make a statement, without wearing a drop or dangle earring, I would definitely recommend these!

I picked to wear this dress for my friend's bridal shower. Since it only ended up being around 40 degrees that day, I wore it with a black cardigan, black tights, and gold jewelry. It was perfect for the occasion! I got tons of compliments from everyone, and it's even more pretty in person. I am usually a size 8 or 10, but this dress was only available in a 6 or 10 to rent for the day I needed it. Since I read the reviews that said it ran big, I went with just the 6 and hoped for the best. It was slightly snug around the middle waist section, but not overly uncomfortable. I am an average 36C, and because of the fitted waist and extra fabric in the top, the dress made my chest look huge. The only part that was slightly annoying was that the very top of the dress didn't lay flat for some reason. I wanted to constantly adjust it, but there was nothing I could do about it, so I gave up. Also, little pieces of the gold thread were sticking out throughout the dress. Those little things aside, I would recommend this dress!

I usually wear a size 8 or a smaller 10, but read that this dress runs large, so I rented the 44 (8) and chanced a 42 (6) as the backup size. I ended up wearing the 42. I tried both and it seemed like the 44 was just too much fabric. The dress draped nicely and perfectly hit at the knee on me (I am 5'8" and don't like super-short dresses on me.) I ended up wearing it with gold beaded sandals and gold/turquoise jewelry. It is just beautiful in person - the colors are much more vibrant than the pictures portray. I would definitely recommend this dress!

I picked this dress as my second dress, since the backup size of my first dress was unavailable. The dress is even more beautiful in person - I almost wore it over my first choice! It was a bit short on me (almost a mini), and I was planning on wearing tights with it if I ended up wearing it. I usually wear an 8, and decided to rent the 10 because other reviews had said that it runs small, and it fit perfectly. I would have paired it with a black belt if I ended up wearing it. The only reason I didn't wear it was because I thought it would be more appropriate for a fall or winter wedding/event... but still, a very lovely dress!

This was my first time renting from RTR, and I chose this one based on the beautiful color scheme, the glowing reviews, and - I mean - who would pass up a chance to wear a Herve?! I was a bit worried, because I was contacted the day before the dress was supposed to arrive saying my backup size was unavailable (the size I was expecting to wear), but the one I wore was was just fine. It was a little bit stretched out from others wearing it - I found myself adjusting every now and then, but not all night. I was also a bit worried that the dress would be too short on me (I'm 5'8") but I felt extremely comfortable in it, even in 4" heels. I chose to wear it with a black shrug, as the weather at the wedding was a bit chilly, but it looked just as lovely without it. I didn't need any Spanx, and I chose to wear a strapless bra with it. I used the fashion tape that RTR provided with the rental (kudos to them for that!) to use on the side of the dress so my bra wouldn't peek out. I would definitely recommend this one to anyone thinking about renting it - you will not be disappointed! I also can't wait for the next time I can rent from RTR again!
