I rented both the Medium and the Large. I wore the medium, it fit perfectly, the length hit me where it shows on the model- I am 5'3". The Large was HUGE- overall much bigger and the length was 6 inches longer, so it looked terrible on me. It pulls over your head, no zipper and I was afraid it would not go on, but it has some stretch and it very forgiving if you have a bit of a stomach. It was very comfortable. Some of the reviewers mentioned that they wore it off the shoulder, but that did not work for me, I think the dress may have been stretched a little from a previous renter, but when I tried to do the off the shoulder look the shoulders just went back up to my shoulders. I did wear a regular bra which is a plus. Overall, a great rental.

I rented this on through the Thanksgiving Rent One get 2 free promotion and loved it so much that I found a great Black Friday Steal and bought it. It is very flattering, especially if you have a little bit of a pooch in the middle. It is wool which some people may find itchy, it didn't bother me. It is thinner than most sweater dresses, so you definitely need tights or leggings. If you google the dress you will see a much different picture- one that shows a bare midriff. I appreciate that RTR did not use that photo, because I would have not rented a bare midriff dress. You can wear it easily without that showing, just like in the RTR photo. The sweater arms that tie around the middle would hide that part, but the sweater top came down also. It is hard to describe the construction, but as a very long time renter, trust me, the dress is great!

I rented this dress to wear to a party and when the box arrived it weighed a ton and I wondered why. This dress is EXTREMELY heavy- not sure what the fabric is, but I didn't like the feel of ii- a very stretchy polyester, sort of felt like a 1970's jumpsuit. It also fits very tight and showed my stomach a bit much, so I actually wore a sweater over it. That being said, it ended up being pretty comfortable and I didn't hat it as much as I though I would! It is also somewhat on the casual side, so it would work as a work dress more than a party dress.

This was a last minute replacement dress, and as a side note, the stylist was so helpful when it came to picking out a new dress after the one I ordered did not work out. I received lots of compliments on the dress, the only complaint I had was that the party I wore it to was very dark and you could not see the purple lining under the navy lace. This dress would be perfect for an outdoor event. I usually wear a 10 or 12, but the 10 wasn't available and I was surprised that the 12 was tight, so I was happy with the 12.

The dress is a pretty dress, though both sizes I got were very well-worn. It is a somewhat heavy dress, and the weigh pulled it down in the back, so I didn't love the fit. They were also 2 completely different colors. One had a definite pink cast, and the other was more yellow...neither was the color in the picture. The sequins were copper which did not show up in the picture. I ended up wearing a nude heel, black shoes, like in the photo on the website were way too heavy a look. It was just okay, would not rent it again, and really, I think the particular ones I received should be retired, they were very used.

I loved this dress. I usually wear a 10, and even though the reviews said it ran large, I felt it was true to size. The color is somewhat brighter than it looks in the pictures, but it is the perfect spring green. I wore it with black drop statement earrings and black bracelets and black and white shoes. It would be hard to wear a necklace with it because of the keyhole neckline, and I was worried that it would be too plain, but I did receive a ton of compliments. The length was good for me, though I could see that it might be too long on someone younger.

I received these a a stylist surprise and paired them with the Anna Sui Sealed WIth A Kiss Dress and they were a home run. They are a little heavy, but I loved them.

This is a great dress for a Christmas Party or Valentine's Day. It does run very big, so you can comfortably size down one to two sizes. I wore the 10 which is my usual size, and it was really big all over. I think I could have easily fit into the 8 and possibly a 6. I had to pin the straps to my bra because it was big in the shoulders and chest. DId receive several compliments- the dress looks expensive and was very comfortable to wear. I paired it with the Alexis Bittar Pave Drop Earrings, and they were perfect.

This was a last minute stylist substitution, and it was such a beautiful dress. Too bad that I was unable to wear it. The stylist sent me a 10 and said that it ran large. NO WAY. I could not get it zipped, and it has an open back, so the zipper only came to my waist. I let my friend who is an 8 try it on and she could not get it zipped either. We let another friend who is a ZERO try it on and it looked great on her, but was a little snug. I had not worn this designer before, but from the other reviews, I was surprised that it ran so small. It is also a little longer than it looks on the model. Also, the back is totally open so you cannot wear a bra with it.

THis came as mystery bling and I wore it to a party. It is very pretty, but small, so works batter on a smaller wrist.

I thought this dress would work for a cocktail party, but it was not as dressy as I had imagined. The material is very thick and has a nubby texture with some stretch. I sort of had a retro "70's look to it. Also, it was very tight and showed every bulge, and even with spanx, showed panty lines. It was only available in a 10, so I don't know if a back-up size would have worked, but it just didn't work for my body-type.

I had high hopes for this dress since I wanted something fun with sleeves. It looked terrible on me, did not have any shape and the length was too long. I am a frequent renter from RTR, and this is the first dress that I have gotten that did not work out. Fortunately, the event I was attending was in NYC and I was able to return it and rent something else in time-RTR has outstanding customer service.

I rented this for a cocktail party and dinner. I was a little worried because the dress looked orange in the picture, and when I rented it there were not yet any reviews. No worries- it was awesome! The color is more of a coral, and the underlining is navy blue. I wore it with a pair on navy shoes and pearls. The length was right for me- I am 5'3" and it hit right at my knees, the length I perfer when sitting for a long dinner. It also had the bonus of having pockets. This dress fits very true to size and there is not any give.

This is a very pretty dress, The blue sequins catch the light and you feel really elegant. The length was perfect for me- I am about 5"4' and like my dresses to come right above the knee. The dress was a little hard to zip up, there is a LOT of material right at the waist and it took two of us to get it zipped. Also, I had to pin the top- I am a C cup and it was too loose on me, also the V is pretty deep. Once I got it pinned it was fine. The sequins were a little scratchy under the arms, so be aware of that if you are going to dance a lot. Overall I was very happy with this rental.

I ordered this to wear with the Badgley Mischka Green Royal Standard Dress which it was shown with. It was okay, nothing special- did not lie flat and people constantly were coming up to me and pushing parts of it down-sort of like when you have a tag on the back of your shirt that keeps flipping up. It reminded me of Sabika jewelry, which is pretty, but everyone has it.

As I stated above, Pay Attention to the Reviews of this dress- it really does run big. Also, it is very accomodating to a larger chest- I am a 36C and it was even a little loose in the top. I normally wear a 10 in most dresses, but if necessary go up to a 12, never down to an 8, but after reading the reviews I sized down to an 8 thinking that I would end up wearing the 10. The 8 fit perfectly, the 10 was really too big in the bust and shoulders. I am 5'4" and the length hit right at the knees. I agree that it requires a racerback bra and a spray tan. I also ordered the "mystery bling" since the dress was only a $50 rental- BIG MISTAKE- the "stylist" sent a pair of jade green and crystal CLIP-ON earrings- there is not any green in this dress and the earrings would have looked dated on my grandmother. Waste of money!!

I wore this dress to a charity function and received so many compliments that I started to wonder how bad I must usually look! It is such a great dress and the $40 rental fee was perfect! I ordered the 10 and 12, usually know that I can wear either, the 10 fit perfectly, so I didn't even try on the 12. It was the right length on me, I am 5'3"- it could possibly be short on a taller person. I did have to pin it at the cleavage, just showed a little more than I am comfortable with. I would rent it again, though from the calendar it is a pretty busy dress- all of April is sold out.
