Slit too high when sitting
Looked really cute when standing, but when walking and sitting the slit was annoyingly high

Tight in the ribcage
Tons of compliments on this one! It was rather tight in the ribcage area, chest, and booty though. In hindsight maybe I needed a size up lol. Otherwise nice fit!

Flattering fit, odd length

Wore this to a concert/fundraiser and got so many compliments! I personally think fit is TTS, not sure about everyone saying it’s so large! It also has built in little shorts but does not look like a skort.

This is navy. It even says it on the tag. Not sure why it’s labeled as black and white which was annoying to receive in nyc at my hotel when I only packed black boots. Ugh! It’s also way too volumous and looks bad belted so didn’t wear.

Why the hate?
These fit TTS or one size down. I am normally a 26, but Madewell runs large so I got 25. They were a little snug in the waist at first but as with all jean they stretched after wearing. Then the waist fit fine, and the length was good! Seems like people are getting the wrong size?

This was a nice length for high waisted jeans without having to tuck anything in. It was really soft. I can see how some might say it was itchy, but didn’t bother me.

Nice blazer for a cold office! Shoulder pads were not overbearing to me. I would size down for a more cropped/tailored looking fit. I am usually S and got the XS and it was perfect. I didn’t button it up though, so not sure if it would be too small buttoned.

Unique and lovely!
I rented this for my husband’s company party. Loved the look of this dress, it was a head turner, I got so many compliments! The arms do start to feel a little tight after a while because it sort of reduces your range of motion. I liked how the sleeves sort of off-set the short length of the dress. It was short but did not feel too short. My 8 year old daughter asked if she could have this dress when she grows up 🥲

Too tight at neck and cutouts
Great looking dress, but too tight around the neck for me. I usually like turtlenecks/mock turtlenecks, but this one felt like it was choking me. Also the cutouts were digging into me.

It’s a fine dress, nothing real exciting. Fit was good. It was comfortable. I am not a fan of the wide sleeves. Length was good, not too short or too long for my 5’4” frame. It does show the tummy a bit, but the tie does a good job of hiding it.

Great for finicky fall weather
This was great for a fall day that started off cold and warmed up midday. Easy to zip all the way up and then unzip and expose shoulders when it’s warm. It is definitely cropped so paired with super high waist jeans.

These are TTS. Ordered my usual size 26 and the fit was great. Perfect length for wearing with a short heel. I’m 5’4” and wore with 1.5” heel booties. Very high waist makes it easy to wear a crop top with confidence!

This dress fit nicely in length, I am 5 foot four and I was able to wear flats and the dress almost skimmed the ground. The top straps are a little long and they’re not adjustable. There’s a lot of material in the skirt and it’s heavier than it looks, that said, it’s very well made, and feels like good quality
