SO big
I wanted to love this top and maybe I just needed to size down. Fabric was lightly and lovely and somewhat sheer. But the fit was truly tentlike, there was SO much fabric. I tried corraling it via a front tuck but it wasn't a great look. May try again in a smaller size.

Super comfy, not super flattering on me
I wanted to love this dress and it looked FAR better on me when belted. However, it wasn't super comfortable belted and I wound up wearing it loose/unbelted which turned out making me look wide and blocky. Beautiful print and color - just not the ideal look for it, at least not unbelted.

Love Madewell jeans!
Madewell jeans are consistently a really good fit for my body shape (which is a little thicker in the middle with narrower hips -- apple-ish I guess!). LOVE the fit and feel of these. They are on the shorter size -- worked fine for me at 5'5"ish but any taller than me and they'd def feel cropped fast. Like the wash. They are a button fly which I kind of hate so I docked one star for that. Still may wind up buying as they are prob the best button fly jeans I've ever found =) Would be 5 stars if they were a zipper!

Really cute, easy to wear, midweight sweater
I'm not a huge sweater lover but got this on a whim and loved it! May wind up being a purchase. Very flattering, good weight, not too hot but not too light. Draping/lines on it are really pretty. True to size -- I'm an 8ish and the M was a good fit. Could've sized up for a slouchier/oversized fit.

Really pretty pattern, very sheer but that wasn't a problem with a nude tank/bra. Surprisingly oversized and tentlike, ran about 1-2 sizes larger than I expected. I wound up layering a vest over it to tamp down the oversizedness, which worked great. The color and pattern are beautiful.

Loved these so much I bought 'em!
I'm not really an overall person but I fell in love with these (once I steamed away the wrinkles). Really soft comfy denim. Cute length, once I made the straps to the maximum shortness. Worked great for both warmer weather days paired with a tank, as well as cooler days with an unbuttoned crispy white shirt layered over. Loved them so much that after wearing them over and over again -- I finally just bought them. :)

Really loathed the neckline
Love Hunter Bell but this shirt was a no go for me. Untied, the neckline was huge and weird and floppy. Tied, I looked like some sort of 1970s cub scout. Pattern was beautiful, colors vibrant, had so much potential but just was not a great look for me.

I've rented this top once before, in one size bigger, in a different pattern. This time I knew to size down 1 size for a less oversized look (but still pretty roomy!). I preferred the other pattern - this one felt a little too Western "costumey" for my taste but still liked it! Just liked the other pattern better.

Le Jean always runs about a size big, and these were a very soft/stretchy denim which meant they ran about 2 sizes big. I wore them sort of oversized, and they were mega comfortable, but I'd need to size down at least 1-2 sizes to make them long-term wearable.

Not super my style, but fun for a one-off wearing. I'm an 8, sometimes a 10, and the M fit perfectly, which means they may run a little large. drawstring at waist and at ankles allows you to customize the look a bit. Parachute-y SWISH sound was delightfully pronounced while walking.

Dreaded built-in/attached tank
A really solid work shirt, except for the fact that it has an attached internal sheer tank (which is slightly visible in my pic). It took me too long to get the inner tank untwisted and into it successfully. Would be SO much better without the attached inner tank. The top otherwise was cute!

Overall I like this top a lot, my only "complaint" is that it doesn't seem to look special, unusual, unique like a lot of RTR tops do. Not the type of top I'm going to get compliments from strangers about, although very comfortable, light, every so slightly sheer, easy to wear. Loved this top so much I bought it! :) The fabric is very light and airy. Possibly could've sized down but glad I didn't as I like the looser/airier fit. Did not have any issues with the arm holes but my arms are pretty noodley. Have also styled it with high waisted jeans and barrel jeans -- it looks great with all.

So crisp and chic but very oversized
Really love the look of this top, fabric feels crisp and cool, pattern is chic, but it is REALLY BIG. (and I love oversized items and routinely size up for that look). Tucked in it looked good -- that helped size it down -- it was too huge to wear untucked (maybe would've worked with leggings?). I'd size down 1-2 sizes next time. Did love the look tucked!

Feminine, short, pretty, belt struggles.
This dress is not my typical style but was fun for a rental. I'm only about 5'5" and it was pretty short on me -- wore similar-colored bike shorts under and wore flats. Material was light and airy, the dress was loose/kind of shapeless without the belt, but the belt was a struggle for me. It was HEAVY and dragged down. I'm kind of apple shaped and none of the belt holes would work for me -- it was too tight on the loosest belt hole which ruined the silhouette of the dress. So I skipped using any of the belt holes and just sort of tied it in a knot which worked. Cute for a one-night event and a perfect example of why I love renting instead of buying! This one is going back in my next swap :)

Gorgeous, luxe, love SeaNY stuff!
I sized up (from a M to a L) as I didn't want it to be too cropped for daytime wear. LOVE it. Yes it's kind of poncho-like but the fabric and detailing is so luxurious. The best way for me to describe it is that it FEELS expensive. Beautiful detailing and really dresses up a simple pair of jeans and tennis shoes. Going to hang on to this one for a while!

TONS of stretch, too much for me
I guess I've gotten used to the stiffer denim options/brands, as these felt too stretchy to me. I usually wear a 29 or 30, but the 29 had too much stretch and I wish I had sized down to a 28. I wore them once but felt between the overly stretchiness, odd crop length, and rise, they just looked a bit dated.

Pros: came new with tags :), the detailing is absolutely lovely, crisp, and eye catching. Extremely comfortable. Cons: this type of high-neck A-line dress turns real tentlike fast on me, especially since I have a large bust. I felt it looked better once I added a belt to give it a bit of shape. Also: Pockets!

Gorgeous bag, beautiful details, structured and rigid
This bag could not be more beautiful! The details and textures are absolutely stunning. As some other reviewers mentioned, this is a VERY structured and stiff bag -- this isn't the type of bag you can root around in in the dark and easily find your keys at the bottom. The opening is rigid and somewhat difficult to get in and out of, which is the only complaint I have about the bag. But it's so pretty, I accept it. :)

I like these! Not 100% my "style" but enjoyed them. Drawstring waist which I always love, super comfortable, lightweight. Prone to wrinkling a bit after sitting which you can see in the pic. Color is a little more teal-ish. I'm an 8/10 in pants typically and the 6-8 (M) were def the right size, extra room to spare. Like that you can tie the ankle drawstrings to make them either more tapered, or keep them wide leg. A good rental, as this is a style I typically wouldn't buy, but it's fun for a few wears.

Very loose, super soft, comfy, LOW v-neck
The pros: the fabric is super soft, lightly stretchy, and very comfortable. The fit is intentionally a bit oversized/loose/boxy which, while potentially not the most flattering/body con, is certainly comfy :) The cons: the v neck is SO LOW (and so loose) you could see not just my bra, but the BOTTOM BAND of my bra. So I used fashion tape to close the v neck by an additional 3" or so. Overall, it's an easy to wear, but not terribly exciting, top.

Cute casual dress
This is the second 3.1 Phillip Lim sweatshirt dress I've tried from RTR. The first time I went with a L (unsure why, maybe it was the recommended size?) and it was too oversized. I went with a M on this style and it was a much better fit -- still a little oversized but in a comfy, easy to wear, casual way. I will say, these dresses have people coming up and saying, "What an unusual outfit -- is that two pieces? or...?" So it's clearly interesting and eye catching, but unsure if it's the most flattering look. It doesn't get a lot of compliments, but does get a lot of questions. :) It is cute and easy to style, I like it with sneakers for casual errands, etc. A great example of a dress that is fun to rent but doesn't really need to be an "own" in my closet!

LOVED this unique and eye catching dress. Two things worth noting -- it is VERY low cut (although maybe would seem less so on a taller person). Because of the silky fabric plus the low cut nature, I wore a nude-colored bodysuit under it both to work with the low cut aspect (a typical bra would've shown but my bust is too big too feel comfortable braless), and to make a smoother silhouette. Also, I have fairly narrow hips and a small butt, and this fit me well but if you have any sort of abundant booty or more voluptuous hips, it would be tight across the hips and you'd likely want to size up. The M worked great with my height, bust, hips, but with any larger hips/booty, I def would've needed to size up.

Overall, I really like the look of this puffy little coat. It's somewhat cropped (at least on me). It's definitely puffy/marshmallowy, but not in a way that I find unflattering. The cabled fabric is SO soft, but I worry it'll snag/tear easily over time. I didn't love the dangly leather cords (they were oddly long) that come out of the bottom, so I tied them up in a bow. The most annoying feature is that the pockets are about 3-4 inches too far back. So you go to toss your phone in your pocket, and you have to make your arms into origami to do so. Overall: looks great, feels great, pockets are essentially unusable unless you have more flexible shoulders than me, dangly cords annoying. But again, SUPER CUTE!

Beautiful appearance, not super practical (doesn't close on top)
LOVE the look of this bag. The colors are beautiful for fall, it looks and feels really luxurious. However, it's impractical, as it doesn't close on top. In theory you can yank the leather drawstring closed, but that doesn't really work, and there's no zipper, no closure, no magnet, etc. So you can really only use it in a place where you're not worried about your belongings falling out, or someone reaching in. Doesn't feel secure but IS gorgeous in a really controlled environment.

Light, airy, cute but not super special to me
I liked this top just fine, but wouldn't buy it. It's light, linen, prone to a bit of wrinkling, and ever so slightly sheer. Really loved the look of this purse. The color is unique and fresh. The wide cross-body strap is unique as well. I unclipped the shoulder chain strap and tucked it away, as I didn't love that look for me. The purse is really small -- I could not zip it with my wallet in there. I wound up just putting in my needed cards/cash, phone, and chapstick, and it was great for that. But if you have a big phone, chunky wallet, etc be warned that it may not fit. LOVED the look of it, though!

Easy lightweight skirt, love an elastic waistband :)
Love how versatile this skirt is! I wore it very casually, but would be easy to dress up with a nicer top/shoes. Color and details are nice -- just feels like a high quality product. True to size. I didn't find it bulky in the hips as some others mentioned, but I'm more apple-shaped and these type of smocked waistbands can make me look poochy. I didn't think that was the case with this one. Liked it a lot! Not enough of my style to buy, but def a great rental.

LOVED this romper!
Loved the eye-catching color, found it super comfortable to wear and fun to accessorize with different shoes, purses, headwear, etc. The fabric was a bit stiff, as another reviewer mentioned, but that didn't bother me. It was pretty dang short on me, I never felt uncomfortable with the length, but you'll want to be comfortable showing some significant thigh if you are tall and/or leggy. Easy to get on/off which is always a must with a romper. It ran mostly true to size, perhaps a tiny bit on the small side. It wasn't tight by any means, but it also had basically no wiggle room -- if I put on 5 pounds, I think it would start to feel tight fast. Overall loved it.

Casual, comfortable, a nicer-looking errand-running outfit
This looked a lot more casual on me than I had expected. I wound up pairing it with black bike shorts and flip flops and really liked the look for just bopping around and doing errands. It didn't feel fancy enough for me to wear to work, especially with the length being quite short on me. As others mentioned, the neckline was pretty low -- I had to fashion tape it closed by an addition 2-3" or so. It DID work well with a big bust, and was bra friendly once I used the fashion tape, which is a big plus for me. No stretch at the underbust seam, so I wouldn't attempt to size down, but true to size in my opinion. It was a lot shorter looking on me than the other reviewers -- it really felt more like a tunic than a dress to me. Does wrinkle fairly easily. All that being said, I really liked it! It made me feel chic and put together despite just running mundane errands. :)
