Long thick t-shirt or thin sweatshirt dress
I sized up because I didn't want this clingy on my belly. The dress is comfy enough that I didn't run to change after wearing all day. Great for lounging. It's a good weight to wear year-round. It was just heavy enough to fall/drape well, but didn't feel like it was weighed down or stretching. I was concerned the neck would be uncomfortable but it never bothered me. Yes, it's long on a shortie but I like it like that.

Neutral olive tan
The color is so nice because while it’s definitely olive green, it’s neutral enough to be worn with unexpected colors. So glad I had this during our very rare southern snow & ice storms recently. It's thick & plenty warm enough for me. The only time I got cold was after a few hours volunteering outside & I wasn't wearing any other protection (hat, scarf, gloves, thermal, etc.) Special details made the quality stand out. The cuffs have pretty gold buttons. The pockets are generous and silky soft. The liner is smooth & comfortable. There are two small inside (hidden) pockets, one on each side. I'm not crazy about the snaps (vs buttons) but wasn't bothered by them. It's quite long on me (I'm short), but that's the way I wanted this one. I did tend to lose my hands in the arms but it was never on my nerves. Super comfy & cozy. Can be dressed up or worn casually.

Le Jean jeans feel good
The Le Jeans I've tried feel very comfy & these are no exception. Great fabric. Not so thin that they wrinkle easily but not too stiff. The style of these didn't appeal to me very much. Something about the bulky legs on my already bulky legs. They were easy to wear but I didn't keep reaching for them. I think a size down would have probably fit me better.

Warm coat
I thought this could be pulled off as a blazer and/or jacket. Wrong. It's so thick. Certainly a coat. Plenty warm enough for cold days and too much on milder days. Versatile color and style, especially with the removable hood. I never took it off because I like that look, but had to fiddle to keep the attachment buttons hidden. Had plenty of room. Could have sized down.

V Beard Blazers ROCK!
There's something so appealing about VB blazers. I'm really drawn to the feminine cut in masculine colors like this. The colors are great! I have a ton of olive in my closet so this was easy for me to style. I wore with green pants & jeans. I got a higher size because that's what was finally available. I thought it'd be fine with layers underneath. While I could have probably gone down a couple of sizes (more TTS), it lays well even when oversized & over only a t-shirt. Looks great buttoned and loose. I half rolled/cuffed the sleeves sometimes when the length would get on my nerves but I have short arms. Only con: faux pockets. They tricked me. However, functional pockets might have added bulk. Maybe. Regardless, this one is a WIN.

SO Very Good
Just put in the return bag and I'm already mourning the loss of this great sweater. She is plush. Thick but not itchy. You sink into coziness. Effortless to throw on with jeans & a tee or button up. I guess lots of folks felt the same way because I was asked "who's it by" several times and complimented even more. On days that weren't so chilly I even used this like an overcoat/sweater outside only. I'm gonna miss you, lovely gal, but this Southern climate doesn't stay cold enough.

Like a pair of comfy jeans
Very comfy. As easy to wear with anything as a good pair of jeans. Great skirt dressed up or down. I wore for a western themed Christmas party + more. I should have ordered a size smaller so the tummy wouldn’t be quite so loose, or at least a bit more snug to hold me in.

LONG trench
This denim trench was good for a western themed Christmas party but doubt I’ll rent again. It was big & so long on me you can’t see the long denim Melanie skirt by Joe’s Jeans underneath. The tie waist keeps it from being so shapeless. A lot of steaming didn’t keep one of the collars from flipping.

Pretty Embroidery
Big, bulky, oversized arms make this gorgeously embroidered sweater stand out even more. It was perfect for a day in Helen, GA (Bavarian-themed alpine village) at Christmas. Received so many compliments. Can be worn with a t-shirt or even a thin sweater underneath.

Cozy coat
Such a comfy & cozy coat. It's a bit bulky but allows plenty of room for big sweaters underneath (plus more). It was longer on me but I should have expected that. The length was great for blocking the cold wind when worn with the Rachel Antanoff houndstooth skorts & cardigan outfit.

Comfy outfit
I only wore this with the matching skorts but it would absolutely work well with others. This sweater isn't too thick or bulky. It's on the thinner side. On me, it looked better with a black top (thin sweater) underneath to hide any potential gapes when not sitting still. It ended up being a good outfit for an office Christmas party, paired with tights & the cozy houndstooth coat on RTR.

Great outfit for office
I was concerned about the length being too short for work but it was perfect. Totally looked like a skirt from the front. Fooled some folks & then became a whole topic of convo. Comfy & cute. Nice top
Feels and fits like great quality. I like the snap between the (fake) buttons where the material would usually pucker (depending on body but definitely would have on mine). I liked it without the button up but wore with it because it was so chilly. It's quite long on me, like a tunic. I wish I had a pic without the matching blazer. The length difference looks odd but I think the three pieces together would work. I wish the pants had been available.

Every single day
I did go a day without her the entire time she was with me. The navy is so dark that it passes for black except in full sun. The green is gorgeous. I like the versatility of the handle and adjustable strap. Can be worn on arm, at the shoulder, hanging off shoulder, or crossbody. The size is ample. Only complaint is the odd inner pocket. It seems to be the right size & has enough structure but I kept getting stuck on it if I was digging around without looking, like it was sticking out too much or something.

Cool beach night
I love these wide legs that look like a skirt. I got this to wear to the beach just before storms were expected to roll in, so I thought it’d be chilly. It wasn’t, but I was still comfortable. No bra required but I wore a strapless. I wore with a grayish green blazer to work. Of course, b/c I’m so short, I had to tape up about 4 inches (see pic).

Was a smart addition because I could wear to a birthday dinner and with a blazer to work. No bra required but I wore a strapless. A touch long on me (5’2”) so I had no option but to wear shoes with a platform. The straps fell off my shoulders some.

Such a great summer suit with the matching blazer. I wore with a white t-shirt. Hips & legs might be baggy on straighter silhouettes (but not me). Waist started to get tight on my round belly after eating but otherwise worked well. Apples might need to size up for comfort.

Spectacular top with a large comfy cut might fit boxy but the pattern & cut-out in the back make it special. I didn’t bother with a bra (opted for pasties on nips under the thin silk). Sleeves were long on me, but a big cuff worked. The blue is quite dark & could possibly pass as black. I wore with dark navy leggings and dark denim. I wanted to wear with white denim but the white in the shirt is a darker color. Would look great with cream slacks.

Free Spirited & Fun Shirt
This top is a bit large but that makes it comfy & airy for summer. There are stringed leaves that make it whimsical but can be used to tighten/loosen gathered fabric to customize the look & fit a bit. MAKE it work for you! I loosened the gathered fabric at the shoulder to try to hide my bra & cami, then pulled the two stings inside & tied behind my neck (so they weren’t in my way when working); really tightened the two that pull the seams under the breast (trying to create more shape) and let the strings hang; pulled to tighten the lower two from the front just a bit (b/c I liked it loose on my belly) and let them hang; and pulled a lot to tighten the two around the back waistline and tied them in the back. Yes, you have to make time to untangle upon arrival. I tied several loosely before returning (hoping someone at RTR would learn that technique to prevent tangles). Such a lightweight dress for summer. Off center tie/knot is interesting & can be adjusted a bit (more fabric tied in tighter), if desired. I found it quite loose. Comfortable Shift Dress
This shift dress is loose & comfy. Easy to dress up with heels or downplay with flats/flops. Too low cut for work but I wore a cami. Wrinkles just a bit from sitting but not terribly. Thick fabric but loose fit keeps it airy for summer heat. LOVE those puffy sleeves. Great length for petites. (June 2022)

Mixed feelings
I thought it looked unflattering and actually amplified my waist while minimizing my chest (which felt a bit pancaked). I wore it anyway, but under a blazer. It seemed like everyone complemented this top. Several commented it created an hourglass. The must have been seeing it only from the front. I found it to be quite LOUD. Not the color but the fabric. It was sort of stiff. It wasn’t transparent but I did feel like I needed a cami underneath to buffer so my bra wasn’t visible. All in all, I think on my body it’s great under a blazer but not without.

Photos don’t show how gorgeous this skirt flows. The piece of fabric that drapes under the rear would likely have shown more curve if I’d gone down a size. Hot little number… if you can keep her snapped
Cut beautifully IF you have the right body-type. I can see how flattering this would be on someone with a less curve / smaller hips / half-full rear-end. If I moved a snap (or more) released. It was smokin’ on my sister (size 4), but I don’t have pics. She wore to church but put a cardigan on top for a more conservative look (probably because it was SO hot on her!) Fantastic Summer Skirt
The fabric is soft & light, perfect for hot temps. I could see a couple of spots where it had been picked previously. Super comfortable & easy to wear. I sized up (12) to make sure it was long enough and loose enough to wear to work. Mission accomplished. As a result, I almost didn’t wear because it was too long & baggy. It’s an acceptable romper otherwise. Didn’t pull in the crotch due to my long torso. Hips certainly weren’t fitted. I don’t recall any issues with the arm holes but I wear an undershirt with nearly everything. I might rent in the future but stay true to size. 5’2” 150 lbs. Mid40s. Unfit.
