Stretchy so that helped with the hips. I am curvy and danced all night in this. The color was rich like a wine color. I received so many compliments I was sad to send it back. Both sizes were VERY close, so I wore the one I felt more comfortable in.

Loved the color, the details, the neckline. The dress had some stretch to it so it was easy to move in. This dress was easy. Wore with a pashmina for the chilly evening and nude strappy heels. The sheer neckline isn't too sheer so I was able to wear a nude colored strapless bra and you couldn't see it. The price was right on this dress. Would rent again!

This ran very large as the other reviews state. I ordered two sizes down and one size down as my backup and I am glad I did. I wore the 42 (4). I am not a size 4. I am usually a 6/8. I still had to pin the right side as it gapped a bit even with having a larger chest (34C). This was perfect for a bachelorette party.

This dress is gorgeous but the fit is just weird! I am curvy and most of the time I wear a 6. Neither the 6 or 8 fit. They were huge in the top (I'm a C cup) and the bottom of both were just too tight. There is absolutely zero stretch in the fabric. I'd size up but if you have bigger hips/butt I would not recommend this dress.

Rented this for my friends catholic wedding which I was a reader. It was classy and conservative for the occasion but I still felt beautiful in it. I loved the the fabric. Giving this 4 stars because it has no stretch. Fits pretty true to size but since I knew I would be dancing all night I opted to size up. I'm 5'4" so this hit me right above my knees. I also liked that this dress had pockets!

RTR sent me this when my original order became unavailable. I did not end up wearing but the green was a rich color and the dress was quite comfortable when I tried it on. It's conservative so perfect for a wedding so you're not showing too much skin. I'm short so it was longer on me then it shows on the model, hitting a few inches above my knee. It accentuated my smallest parts (waist) and also hugged my curves in the right spots without it being uncomfortable. Only downside I saw was because of my curves I felt it made me look a bit hippy-er than I would have liked. I would rent in the future for another event.

I love Halston Heritage dresses as they seem to fit my curvy body the best but this one was not my favorite. They sent me this (in a size 6) when my original rental became unavailable. I did not end up wearing. The draping would be good if your tummy area is a trouble zone as it would hide it. I'm a 34C and it just seemed baggy in the chest to me. The fit overall is a bit odd but it would be fun for a wedding/cocktail party if you're looking for something more conservative.

Rented this for a formal roaring 20's themed event. I really wanted to love this dress, but I didn't like it. The fabric was soft and the pattern was beautiful! However, if you're curvy I would not recommend this dress. The skirt flares out a little more than it shows on the model and the drop waist does not work with curves. I would recommend this dress to tall women that are more straight up and down. I rented the Medium but probably could have done the small.

I rented this dress for a roaring 20's themed formal event; wanted to have some sparkle without feeling like I was going to the prom or a New Year’s Party. This dress was sophisticated and I liked the black on black look. It was a little short for my liking, I am curvy so I could have probably done the 8 for added length but it was unavailable. I'm short, so if you're taller I would definitely size up. The dress comes in two parts and the underlay piece is pretty basic cotton layer that has no stretch at all. I paired this dress with black heels and art deco jewelry. Not my favorite rental ever but for what it was needed for and the price, it was great!

This was by far my favorite rental from RTR. If I had an extra $2,000 laying around I would totally buy this dress. This dress is exquisite. I am curvy so this dress felt like it was made for me, it fit everywhere on me perfectly. I'm a 34C and typically wear a size 6 in everything from jeans to dresses. This dress is the perfect blend of sexy and classy. Also, I must add that RTR customer service is unmatched! In a last minute pinch, my original dress became unavailable - and nothing to wear to my best friends wedding they had this available. I liked this one even better than my original pick!

Loved the details on this dress with the gold accents and the buttons up the back. However, this dress did not fit me the best, I have a large chest (34C) and even in the 6 it was baggy in the chest. I wore this for a summer outdoor wedding so it was easy to move around in. But if I had to rent again I would go down a size. Wasn't my favorite RTR experience.

I wore this for a wedding welcome reception in the south. I wore an 8 since I've learned Lilly tends to run small. I'm glad I did otherwise it would not have fit in the chest! This dress was perfect for the charity gala I helped plan. The draping on the dress was very flattering. I found the other reviews were helpful, because this dress does run small. I am normally a 6, and I wore the 8. This dress is great for curvy women. The one downside was the level of comfort because of it running small, it was tight around the arms and a little around the legs (was good for a seated dinner but I wouldn't want to dance the night away in this). I paired this with strappy black shoes that mimicked the draping of the dress and chunky cascading earrings. The dress wasn't over the top, but very simple and elegant. I would recommend this dress and would rent it again. If it were a little more comfortable I would give it 5 stars.

This was my first time renting from RTR and I have to say I truly was blown away by the experience. I have had several friends use the website (my friend also pictured with me wore a RTR dress too!) but have to admit I was a little skeptical. I mean really how can it be THAT great? Oh but it is. From every little detail.... The packaging, the well-presented box it's shipped in. To the fact you get a second size at no charge. The dresses come folded very neatly in a garment bag. (Nice branding) my dresses were in mint condition and had no signs of previous wear. My friend got her dress with the tags still attached! The reviews were also super helpful. I found this dress to run true to size just as the previous reviews had mentioned. Even though they said it ran short, I didn't really have a problem since I'm short. I could see a taller woman wanting to go up a size in this dress for added length. I rented sizes 6 & 8 and ended up wearing the 6. My waist is small and I felt like the 8 was too baggy in that area for my liking. I wore nude pumps and simple jewelry, a few bracelets and hoops. I felt like this dress spoke for itself and didn't need to be drowned out with jewels. The dress itself was so comfortable! I did wear Spankx under the dress since the dress did show if you have a tummy trouble zone like myself. I received several compliments and would definitely recommend this dress to a friend, and would certainly rent this dress again! And for the price - you can't beat it! RTR makes everything so easy I will definitely rent again very soon!
