Great piece to pair with different outfits
I sized down 1 size but still a bit too large. However, pairs very well with Hugo Boss purple dress and Black Halo dark green dress I rented at same time. Very versatile but definitely size down fir sleeve length and boxy fit.

Paired with faux fur black vest. It is see through since no lining, so a slip is necessary. Nit sure why this dress would not be lined but that is easily corrected. Fabric is thin enough fir warmer temps, but with tights and slip also good for cold months.

Love it so much I bought it!
This was one of those iffy choices when I rented. Then, when it arrived, I was surprised how much it went with and how nice the material is. Only con is the waist was a bit stretched out. Since I’m buying it, I can easily take it up a bit.

Very noisy! Too noisy to wear.
I’m surprised more has not been said in reviews about the loud noise and weird feel of these pants. I wanted them to work and I have several faux leather pieces. This is not your average faux leather noise. This is like covering your legs in deflated plastic swim floaties and trying to walk. Had them on 60 seconds and could not get them off fast enough.

Even though an XL was recommended by RTR, I sized down to L. It was still huge and sleeves were too long so I did not wear. If I reorder, I will go with a Medium.

As with other Black Halo dresses, sized up for perfect fit. At first, it kept twisting, but removed shapewear and it twisting stopped. Great tailoring and structure. Seaming is nicely done, and snap straps on shoulders holds in place with bra strap. One of my favorite clothing pieces!

Watch out for back kick pleat/split, otherwise love this dress!
Great color and structure. Was going to buy and then realized how high up the kick split is. I couldn’t pin it bc there is no overlap in the split. The sides match up perfectly so there’s nothing to pin. For work (or anything I would normally wear this dress for), the split is way too high. I’m short so it should not be high on me, and I sized up as usual with Black Halo. That’s the only reason for 4 stars instead if 5.

A good top to mix things up a bit in the wardrobe
Like other reviewers, it seemed a bit short, but when I wore it with fitted pants, being short made the top less boxy. Overall, I liked the top better after wearing throughout the day and getting comfortable in the new cut for me.

It’s Veterans Day week, so I have a few events to wear red. It will come in handy since I have it, but wouldn’t recommend. If you button blazers, know that the top buttons are just for show. There is one inside button and one outside that are actually functional. Rolling up sleeves gives it a bit more interest since lining is black. Fabric wrinkles and is not especially dressy.

Perfect dress for event!
Attending black tie event and this dress looks like it could be on red carpet. I would have preferred my usual 14R but 16L was all that was available. Wearing higher heels and it is perfect. Very comfortable and forgiving stretch fabric. Would purchase if not so expensive - love this dress!

Love the pattern and colors.
Fit is good, slightly more snug than ideal. Plan to wear a faux leather brownish/plum jacket to break it up a bit for work. Would like another inch in length, so if I were any taller I wouldn’t wear to work.

Great dress but not the right dress for my body type.
I’m short and curvy and I knew better than to order this dress. Fit was too big and where the pleats/waist hit on me made me feel like a grandma instead of like I was wearing a trendy Kate Spade dress. Really sad this didn’t work.
