My favorite dress of the year!
This dress is amazing. I loved everything about it. It's perfect for any festive winter event and has a sexy yet classic look due to the length (just below knee) and the cap sleeve. It is very curve hugging, but the material is stretchy and thick enough to be forgiving and easy to move and dance in. The sequins are darker than gold, more of a bronze, and sparkly without looking cheap or gaudy. I wore this with t-strap pumps to play up the retro feel of the dress and a simple black and gold clutch. Due to the low back I wore a nubra and that worked fine although you could probably go without any bra at all if you wanted.

Ok overall but one size smaller would have been better.
This was my back up style for a December wedding but I didn't end up wearing it. It was OK, but fit me a little loosely. The fit and the cut combined felt a matronly on me. I think if I had sized down and it was more curve hugging, that would have made it just sexy enough. It would be a great choice for a wedding or holiday party.

super cool and comfortable
Love the neoprene fabric of this dress. It gives it a modern edgy feel but is still classy and comfortable to wear. The length was just slightly below the knee on me (5'2"), which was a nice balance to the extra skin that is shown by the cut out. I do think it would have been a little better on someone a few inches taller than me, as I felt like I had to stand very straight all night long to make sure the cut out lay correctly. I have longer legs and a shorter torso so this might just be how it fits on my proportions.

Beautiful Fall/Winter dress
This is a great dress. Really well made. Definitely a heavier material that is best for fall/winter. The colored under panel is subtle but still adds a fun pop of color. Dress was comfortable and there is stretch in the skirt material. The only thing that was weird is the zipper ran long on the inside of the dress and poked out a little bit making for a weird bump on my butt.

Fit like a glove!
A few days before my rental was supposed to arrive I got the bad news that the size M "had been damaged by a previous renter". RTR was great about offering to send me another dress, but I couldn't find anything I liked as much as this one. I kept my fingers crossed that the S would fit, as after reading other reviews I was a little nervous that it runs too small. Although I needed a hand holding the zipper together to zip it up, once it was on there was plenty of stretch and it ended up being really comfortable for the whole night. The dress needed to be steamed so that all the ruching and pleats laid flat, but that was no problem. Overall this was a really beautiful dress and I might even rent the the same dress in red for a holiday event. It made me feel classy and dressed up, but still sexy.

fun, comfortable dress.
This was an easy dress to wear. The fit runs big ( I ordered a 2 and a 0 and the 0 was still roomy) so I wore it with a belt I already owned. The neckline is a little higher than I realized and doesn't show any cleavage. The sequins are not itchy at all as there is a nice liner in the dress. I liked the subtle animal print in the sequins.

Wore this in Vegas for a girl's night out.
I ordered an XS and an S (xxs was not an option). When the dress arrived the tags on both dresses said S, but someone had written in sharpie XS on one of them. I tried both of them on and they fit exactly the same. This dress does not lay flat the way a standard Herve does, it has a sort of ribbed texture. This dress has been rented and worn LOTS of times, as evidenced by the stretched out straps and worn look of the metal hardware on the zipper. Overall just OK. I'm glad RTR is having a clearance sale because they need to update their inventory with newer items.
