Strange size
This top was super cute and wearable but I found it to be both too big and too small. Like, the buttons pulled at the chest while at the same time I had extra room in the armpit. Even though the back is smocked and stretchy, there is NO give in the braiding around the chest so it was still difficult to get on, while the elastic straps would slide off my shoulders. It was cute/workable for a night but wouldn't buy/re-wear

Wouldn't stay on my head
Unfortunately I couldn't wear these because they were so enormous, and I don't mean the lenses were an "oversized" style. Like the actual ear pieces were so long the glasses slid complete off my nose and wouldn't even stay on my face

I wanted to love this but it just didn't do anything for me unfortunately. Maybe it's my coloring, but the color just seemed too muted and it was form fitting but not in a favorable way. Not awful but not something that made me feel amazing. Also: this brand's sizes are all over the place, recommend sizing up for one option.

I loved this dress but actually ended up not wearing as the cut just wasn't flattering for me (strong Judy Jetson vibes). Otherwise, really beautiful color and style, fit true to size, and totally recommend.

I read all the reviews and sized up accordingly but, y'all, I still couldn't even get my arm through the sleeve! Otherwise looks like a beautiful, well-made dress but there's no way I was getting this thing on. Too bad.

Washington, DC's first ever Diner en Blanc!
I had rented this dress once before, so I knew it ran a little small for me. I usually wear a 2 but was very comfortable in the 4. This is truly a set-it-and-forget-it dress: keeps its shape well, doesn't get too wrinkly, and is form-fitting but still has a little stretch and isn't too constricting. Definitely recommend!

amazing RTR customer service getting this dress replaced with hours to spare!
Originally I rented the navy version of this dress, but it arrived damaged and RTR was able to replace it overnight with the black version. For some strange reason, the black run significantly shorter than the navy. Not awful, but something to think about if you're debating between the two. Otherwise, I loved this dress and found it to run a bit large (I normally wear a 2 but had to wear the 0) Got tons of compliments and loved having a black dress that still stood out from the crowd.
