i ordered the pants and top, pants canceled
I ordered the set but RTR canceled the pants and nothing really went with this top.

perfect evening gown
I was tempted to keep this one. It is the perfect evening gown for formal events. The material and the cut make it very comfortable. It packs like a dream. For one event, I added a crinoline underneath for a full-skirted ballgown look for a Gala themed Old Hollywood. I wore it without the crinoline and added a mesh long-sleeve top underneath for a formal academic dinner.

cute and fun but where to wear?
I liked this dress, fun and flattering, but every time I thought about wearing it - I didn't. Finally, I wore it to Spitalfields Market, where it felt right. If you go to funky and fun places, it's lovely and feels wonderful.

I took these on a tropical vacation. Before leaving, I put them on, and they fit. Every time I tried to wear them with other clothing, they just ended up looking big and sloppy.

very cute unusual problems
I received many compliments. The waist does not stretch. The odd problem was that the lower legs would snag on each other, and a string on one would catch a sequin on the other, so suddenly, you would be hobbled and have to unloop the loose string. That's why I only wore it once.

This is easy to wear and gives a creative accent to a black suit for work. The pattern and the twist at the neck mean you only need earrings as accessories. even two students mentioned how much they liked it (and not on the day I was wearing it). I may buy it.

I thought this was a shift when I ordered it. The waist is set in and the zipper hangs up there and it adds bulk at the waist. It was fine. The skirt was a bit narrow for dancing.

Big gaps on your torso
This is an odd dress. What is not readily apparent from the photos is that there is a very large gap open under the arms from waistband to mid-upper arm and several inches wide so your bra (not strap, the whole bra, shows and the lovely toned skin on your side between the band of your bra and the waistband. The fabric is cute (but very wrinkled when it arrived) but the gaping opening on each side was a non-starter. I tried it with a cami underneath but so much of it shows that it still just looks odd. Returned unworn.

The fabric was very scratchy on the skin.
If you wear sleeveless shells under jackets like I do, this might not be a good jacket for you. The fabric was so scratchy I returned it immediately. The look is a little unusual - my spouse thought it looked like a kitchen rug. If you are young and edgy this is probably a better match for you.

Great fabric and shape
I got compliments over and over on this top. The multiple pleats have a unique shape without being overbearing - they accentuate your shape. The fabric is a real attention getter without being overbearing. The colors are very modern and the pattern is vintage inspired. I wore it on the 4th of July.
