Gorgeous Dress, Runs Big
I rented this dress new with tags and it was so pretty. Definitely a thicker material but very flowy so still comfortable in moderate temps (80 and humid in Texas). Can easily dress it up or down. I wore it with sandals for a date night but could easily wear to a wedding or nicer event. Definitely size down though, as I rented this 37 weeks pregnant (34C bust) and would usually rent a medium not pregnant. The chest and waist still had room and would have been too big without the bump for sure.

Nice, Casual Dress
Overall this was a good dress, but not something I would rent again. The material was pretty thin which was nice to keep cool, but would have preferred a lining in it. I would also say it is definitely true to size if not a little big. I wore it 36 weeks pregnant and probably could have gotten my normal size of medium (on the fence though) just because of the way the dress is cut. Overall liked the color and style, just maybe a less flattering style. It was also quite long. At 5'-7" wearing flats I think it only worked because of my bump, otherwise would have required a heel.

Beautiful and High Quality
I wore this dress to work and also out for dinner and found it really high quality and comfortable. I would say it runs a little big as I am renting it 36 weeks pregnant and felt it was still roomy, mainly in the chest as the rest of the dress is meant to be more flowy. Super flattering with a bump and really pretty colors.

Got tons of compliments on this dress while 36 weeks pregnant. I think pre-pregnancy I would have gotten my usual medium size but the large was perfectly comfortable and not remotely tight this far into third trimester. I got it new with tags and it was a great wear!

So Flattering
This is my first Hill House dress and I almost bought it. I am in my third trimester of pregnancy so figured I would size up to a large and it fit great. The smocking around the chest/waist made it one of the most flattering dresses I have worn in pregnancy. I would definitely rent again in my usual medium after baby.

Gorgeous Tent
This dress was perfect for my baby shower (about 33 weeks along, 180lbs, 34C bra) but could be a lot of fabric for someone not pregnant. I got so many compliments and it was super comfortable. As other reviews mention, the shoulder straps were loose but with good posture I did not have an issue.

Cute and Versatile
Loved this dress and how comfortable it was. Definitely has a relaxed fit so if you are in between sizes I would go smaller but otherwise would not size down. I'd say this could be small bump friendly as it did not work for me at 30 weeks pregnant but is a very forgiving shape. Color is fun and not see through.

Amazing Quality but Size Down!
Absolutely loved the idea of this dress. The fabric and cut feel so high quality and it is a really comfortable dress. It runs very large though so I would size down 1-2 sizes. I normally would have gone with a large in a sweater dress since I have wide hips, but decided to go with a medium based on reviews. Even 16 weeks pregnant (small bump) it was way too big. Would definitely rent again in a small.

Fun and Forgiving
Second time renting this dress and still love it. I sized up to a Large for third trimester of pregnancy and felt the chest area was a bit too big so I would say it is forgiving enough to keep your normal size.

So many compliments!
Loved wearing this dress as it was super comfortable and very flattering even with the empire waist. I do think the top runs a little big so I would go a size down if I rented again (which I am definitely considering!). The top pattern is made up of logos but it is not noticeable and did not bother me. I got tons of compliments and would highly recommend!

Really loved this rental and got a ton of compliments. I wore it to a show and night out in Vegas and it was comfortable all night. Although shapeless I still found it flattering and the color is really pretty. Length is good, but may be a little long on someone shorter. Like other reviews have said, I would size based on your upper half/shoulders since the rest of the dress is pretty forgiving.

Didn't end up wearing although it is generally pretty cute! It was simultaneously way too short and the top portion was way too big. Would not have been able to size down since I have wider hips and the length would have been a bigger issue. Cute dress, but probably better for someone shorter and maybe larger chested.

Endless compliments!
Wore this for a fancy dinner out in Vegas and got so so many compliments on it! I still have a postpartum tummy and while it wasn't a ton of extra fabric, it did camouflage my tummy so I felt totally confident. At 5'7" and wearing 2.5" heels it was short but not uncomfortable. There is some cleavage potential but there is a snap closure and at my 34C there was not any concern.

Lots of volume!
I really liked this dress in that the material was beautiful, the bows in the back so cute and that it is super comfortable! It is a lot of volume though and is not the most flattering. My husband wasn't a huge fan but I still had fun with it. I would say this is more unflattering than your average 'sack dress' but still worth the rent in my opinion if you have an occasion you think it would be fun for! Sizing is very forgiving.

Just OK
Overall I liked the style of the dress, but the cut of it was just okay. I am a pear shape and it fit my hips fine, but did not do anything for my figure as it is a straight cut, somewhat bag-like dress. I did get compliments on it but just did not love it. The slit is also a bit higher than I expected but I wore shorts underneath anyway so it did not bother me.

Gorgeous fabric but size down
This is a gorgeous dress and I should have known to size down with this designer, but the L was all that was available. A small would have been perfect I think. This dress definitely has an elevated feel and would be great for a nice party. The sleeves are huge so just keep that in mind if that's not your thing.

Too much prairie for me
I am one who usually likes the 'prairie' style dresses, but this one missed the mark for me. I rented a size up because it was what was available but I would say I could have even sized down from my normal size given how large this was on me. Sizing aside, the collar was a bit too large for me and the print made the amount of fabric feel a bit overwhelming.

Got tons of compliments on this shacket and found it really comfortable. It was super itchy though and I ended up wearing a long sleeve shirt underneath it. Luckily it was pretty cold weather and this was warm enough I did not need another jacket on top.

Fun Black Tie Option
This dress was a more fun option for a black tie wedding I had. I think I would have opted to go slightly more formal as it felt a little young, but the shimmer on the gold stars and the pleating on the skirt made it work for me. It fit well if not slightly on the large side, but was great for dancing in.

Fun and Fashionable!
Got tons of compliments on this fun top when I wore it. It is a lot of volume in the sleeves, but overall I would say it is true to size. You could potentially size down, but I really liked the length of it in my true size (especially since I have wider hips). The pink and beige underlinings were a nice touch that I did not find too distracting and I wore it both with the neckline buttoned all the way up and open and felt comfortable both ways. The top feels really high quality and I enjoyed wearing it.

The coziest sweater around!
Another rental I wanted to buy! I got it new with the tag still on and felt so polished in it while simultaneously feeling like I was wearing a blanket (in a good way). I don't usually go for things with big branding, but this was super subtle in person and the different knit patterns really made this a unique piece. It was very warm so have somewhere cold to wear this if you rent it. The turtleneck was also really nicely detailed with a slit in the back so it laid perfectly and was not itchy. I wore a medium and felt perfect but it is meant to be an oversized fit so if you want it to look slimmer I would size down.

Runs very small..
This sweater is absolutely stunning and so high quality. However it runs very small and is very close fitting. I ordered up a size and could have worn it but did not feel comfortable since it was so tight. On the plus side, it is very thick (and warm!) and hides imperfections. I would recommend ordering up 2 sizes if you can! So wish I could have made it work.

Loved this rental!! Would have purchased if it were cheaper. The length hit perfect and it was flowy but not too boxy. The material is a good weight and it feels high quality. I wore out around town and then dressed it up for a dinner and got tons of compliments. I wore this in winter in New Mexico but am from Texas and could see it working there too.

Gorgeous colors, short fit
Loved the color and quality of this sweater. The mix of brown and black and the style of knit make it unique. It is fairly short (but not quite a crop) though which I think is fine if you are smaller chested. I am a 34C and if I raised my arms at all the sweater would then be bunched around my boobs in an odd way. I let me sister in law wear it (smaller chest) and she had no issue with it but also found the length a bit odd. Overall, very thick and warm!

Gorgeous fabric, odd fit
The fabric and print on this dress are gorgeous! I wanted to make it work so bad and was determined to figure out how to properly wear this, but sadly could not. I ordered a size up since I have wider hips and while it fit there, the top was huge once I tried to tie the straps/bands in any way at all. Leaving them undone didn't really work for me either since it was just too much fabric moving around. We need a tutorial for this one!

Fun and Unique Dress
Such a fun dress that can be dressed up or down. As other people have said, it is much more of an olive background than it shows in the model picture, but I loved it. I would say the sizing is similar to any other Ulla Johnson piece and is very forgiving while still giving some structure. The fabric does have some weight to it which made it a little hot in the Texas heat in July, but I am still glad I wore it.

I really wanted to be able to wear this dress, but even with the wrap as tight as I could tie it around my waist, it was still too large on the bust. Length, sleeves, and skirt were great though. I consider myself average chested, but if you are small chested I would definitely size down.

Overall a comfortable dress with fabric that felt nice. I found the waist to be oddly tight and it closes with small buttons down the front which made me a little concerned the buttons would start coming undone if I moved the wrong way. Everywhere else was pretty roomy so I would say if you have a wider waist size up, but it will be loose elsewhere.

I rented this top because the other reviews convinced me and I agree with them - rent the fun, unique llama top! Feels high quality and is fun to wear. I found it to be a little big under the arms but did not want to size down because I have wide hips and this size fit well everywhere else. Not my favorite fit I have rented, but certainly worth it.

I ended up wearing a different dress for a night out, but still liked this one a lot. It was a tad short, but not really a problem for going out. I really liked the silkiness and the way it draped in general. The only thing I did not really care for was the extra fabric around the waist. Having bigger hips and a smaller waist it wasn't quite as flattering as I wanted.

I should have listened to the other reviews about the flounce of this top! I ordered two sizes down and it was still big. More than the sizing though, the flounced hem was just too much and really could not be tamed enough for me to wear it. The material was also stiffer than I expected. In the end I didn't wear it though I wanted to make it work.

Perfect vacation dress!
Wore this out to dinner for a bachelorette trip where we all wore white and it was perfect. I ordered a size down from my usual and it fit really well. It is a heavier fabric which means it is not see through, but it can be a little warm for hot, humid weather. I wore with nude heels then with sandals and both worked. Would consider buying it if it weren't for the price!

I am a sucker for flowy dresses and this one from Madewell did not disappoint! While it doesn't have a defined waist I thought it was more flattering than your typical 'bag' dress. The length was perfect for me (I'm 5'-7") and I loved that the fabric does not wrinkle since I was traveling with it.
