This is my second time renting this brand. This dress didn't disappoint. It is a thicker material like scuba so it is very forgiving. It had plenty of room for my curvier hips and was a great length for me. I found the sleeves just a bit short, but I have long arms and torso. It wasn't a deal breaker. I feel it runs only a little small once you manage to get it on, so I am happy I sized up one. I do wish they'd install a side zip for easier on/off.

I truly loved this dress. The color in the photo is pretty accurate and makes a great alternative to the typical LBD. I ordered it in a size 4 and 6. I wore a 32C bra (which was a little generous), and have a 27" waist and 37" hips with a long torso. The size 4 really hugged my hips and waist, but the size 6 was too big on top even though it was more comfortable from the waste down. The size 6 also gave me an extra 1.5" of hem that wasn't necessary. The crepe is a little heavier with beautiful drape, but not hot and has some stretch. The silk lining is great. My only complaint is that it is a bit of a wrinkler despite it's heavier feel in hand. I received several compliments and many of them from strangers. This dress is on my short list!

I ended up going with a more subdued style for my event, but this dress was really lovely and fun. I have a long torso so the waist on this dress was rather high for me, but no one would have known due to flair of the skirt. It was very forgiving on my lower half and slimming at the waist. At times I can sneak into a size 4 for a fit-and-flare style dress, but this size 6 was a good fit for me. Anything smaller would have made the cut under the armpit area tight and tight around the ribs. I will definitely keep this style in mind for a wedding or when I need a little flair. I could not have worn my regular bra with this dress, but the fact that it has pockets makes this point forgivable!

I typically wear a size 6 for more fitted dresses. I ordered the size 42 and 44. I never even tried on the larger size because the 42 fit like a glove. The fabric of the body feels like a light weight neoprene and is very forgiving and comfortable. I did need to purchase a strapless bra, but that was a small sacrifice. The color is rich and was a comfortable alternative to the sea of LBDs at the event. I would love to wear this again. I received many so compliments in this sophisticated piece.
