Weird fabric
Very cute! It is short but looks great untucked with high waisted pants. I wanted to keep but the fabric was stiff and rigid, not soft, not even scratchy. It kind of felt like it was made out of rope. It wasn't uncomfortable but I probably wouldn't wear it again even though I liked it a lot!

Im always excited when a brand offers a size 16 but I find that Nicholas is often small in the bust. I couldn't get this dress to stay buttoned up past my waist. A true bummer as the print is gorgeous. Wrists also felt a little tight for a 16. Disappointing and couldn't wear.

I intended to wear this for a preppy look but the dress itself was rather thin and a little big on my waist so I couldn't tuck too much fabric in. I thought it was pretty and fun but not amazing quality.

Tried to make it work
I could never get this sweater to comfortably fit. The arms and width of the chest felt big and wide but the sweater itself still cling over my boobs and made the buttons (which are sewn on) gape and look awkward. I tried two sizes and neither worked. If your tiny it's probably easy to get this to be oversized but as a tall, plus size person (with large boobs!) it wasn't gonna happen for me. I wish it was a real cardigan so I could have still given it a shot.

A big no
So first, I did not notice that the slit would go so high it essentially makes this a mini dress. Second, and maybe this is just because I have a large bust, the entire top was gaping open in a not cute way showing my bra and being far more revealing than I thought. The drop waist also hit very awkwardly right above my butt, which made it get caught and leave a pile of fabric. If you have curves, size up or stay away from this one!

Perfect valentines dress
I loved this dress. Took a chance knowing the fabric is stretchy and the largest size was perfect for a size 16. The pleats are forgiving but also not the most comfortable- I wore this dress into my office and to a date after, 12 hours is too long but the compliments were worth it. Would rent again for an event. The fabric is thick though- not for summer events!

Fun!
I wore this dress twice, once in a date and then to an engagement party. It's fun and the low cut makes it feel a little sexy without being too much. Love the daisy print and mini cut, feels very 60s. I wore with tights since I'm tall, but it's also winter and this dress would probably otherwise be a little to short for my liking. It pairs well with tights and is a fun spring feel in the winter. I wish it was a little more form fitting and a little more flare at the bottom but otherwise good!

This one will be hard to give back. I love it! I'm plus size so I have been wearing my own slip underneath but the floatiness of the size L can definitely fit most sizes! I love it with black tights and boots.

Love this dress. It's a great color and very fun. Love the dramatic sleeve and adjustable zipper slits. It's not super forgiving but it's comfy and easy to wear shape wear under. Tons of compliments and I love how chic but cozy I feel wearing this. Also love the ways other RTRs have worn it, giving me more inspo for the future. The price point is right so I will probably keep this, though I'm a little confused why I can't find this brand anywhere else.

I love this coat. It's not the warmest coat ever but it is definitely warm (think above 30). It feels like you're wearing a track from super Mario. It's iconic. It's loud but also not too much. It's the ultimate. I'm sad to give it back! In terms of sizing, I'd say this is a small XL especially if you are larger chested or a true 14 who wants to layer underneath. I found zipping it to be a struggle so I would move it up and tug the coat down after I zipped. It doesn't feel tight when zipped.

Casual cool
I loved this material and fit—it's thick and stretchy, but it doesn't bag out the way lighter materials do. I felt very cool, and the snaps were secure and did not gape over my bust (an issue even in plus sized clothing!) I'm also tall and this fit my torso just right. I think the renaming of sizes is a little silly and confusing but I loved wearing this.

I loved this shirt! It has a wider fit which makes it awkward to tuck in unless your pants are super highwaisted, but it has such a great fit and look. It's polished and not too sexy, but will still make you feel like a rock star.

This is a great cozy winter sweater that goes well with jeans or skirts. It's also a fun, bright color that doesn't feel over Christmas-y or dull. Super soft, my only complaint is that it leaves little red fuzzies around. I wore it a handful of times and sending it back is giving me separation anxiety!

Magical!
I loved this dress. It was fun and flirty, and took me from day to night seamlessly. The buttons add a cute detail to the sleeves and body. My only dislike are the fluttery sleeves that are not patterned on the other side, so it's just awkward white (not lining or anything) and they also make daytime tasks a little inconvenient but it's a small price to pay. I am busty and hippy and this dress fit like a glove.

So glam!
I loved this dress! I got it as a backup for my birthday party not thinking it would fit but it did and I fell in love. The wide sleeves are very fun. I love that it has a slit in the front and a low cut back BUT with some rejiggering you can easily wear a bra under this if your someone who needs to (it's lined well so you don't HAVE to but I wanted some oomph). It was definitely a little tight around the middle and it will show flaws but YOLO. I wanted to keep this dress for NYE!

Funky but itchy
Loved this sweater coat. It's not lined which definitely makes you want to wear it like a sweater but unfortunately, it's really itchy if not worn with long sleeves underneath. Very cozy and I got a compliment every time I wore it out—would have purchased even at the high-ish price point if it wasn't so itchy.

Unlike the other reviews, I had no problem sitting with this dress (although I never wore it out) and it wrapped around perfectly fine and mostly stayed tied. My issue was that even though it fit in the waist, ensuring proper coverage of my bottom half, I could not get the top around my chest. I do have a large bust but the fit of this was very awkward compared to the bottom. I considered wearing it with a slip underneath to cover my chest somewhat but ended up getting another dress in time instead. This dress is pretty but 2 things: most of the sequins are matte (I ended up renting a dress with VERY shiny sequins which I loved but the leopard pattern was not apparent) and it's pretty short. I'm 5'10 and this dress was the right length for me in flats.

Wish I found it earlier this summer
This would have been a great dress in June but I only found it on the site recently. I was hoping to wear it before Labor Day but never made it. Its a great fit and very fun! It's loud but definitely elegant. I do think the necktie and waist-tie combo is a little much (I wore without the belt and considered tying the neck strap in a bow). Length is good for tall gals who like flats or low heels!

A really awesome tent
I love this dress, even though the fabric is not a linen like I expected but more "plasticky." It's dramatically over size, I was worried the largest size would be too small but it actually fit my shoulders perfectly. Many compliments and definitely looks cool!!

I'm tall AND curvy, so this "shorter" muumuu was kind of a risk. It's definitely large and pretty shapeless as most of the reviewers have noted, but if you're tall and have a large chest, I'd say beware because it was wildly short in the front on me, and definitely not something I could even consider raising my arms up in. The print was cute and the fabric was summery, but it's rayon so it's not worth the buying price! I ended up wearing as a long, oversized shirt but it would have also looked cute with long bike shorts underneath (mine were just a bit too short). I would have worn it regularly as a beach cover-up but not anywhere else.

I actually hated this dress
Overall, I just did not feel good in this dress. I rented it as part of my unlimited membership so I got it as a maxi to wear on a hot summer day. The reviews are all correct, this dress runs so comically large that it's kind of strange. I'm a 16 and the 12 was still an inch or two loose on me. You can hook the front or leave undone, but I found the looseness of the bust to still be way too revealing for my DDD's—buttoned or not. The hole is also very wide, as are the armholes, so wearing a strapless bra isn't really an option. Additionally, the dress has TWO slits on the side that are rather high. Combined with the keyhole in the bust, this dress is almost "too sexy." (I never thought I'd say that) On the bright side, if you are wearing it to an outdoor event, these slits do keep you cool! I also found the slits annoying for commuting, as i couldn't really pick them up to easily go up and down stairs. Finally, this dress is SHORT. I'm 5'10" and it only came to about my ankle, maybe an inch above. It looked a little too short. I wore this dress out and I just didn't feel good. Lots of good reviews if you can make it work for you (great material! fun print!) but I couldn't!

Great tiny bag
I saw this bag at the NYC RTR store and decided it would be a good choice for a shore vacation since I wanted something small with a top zip. Great front pocket for storing tiny things (keys, headphones, etc) and a decent amount of space in the body. It's a small bag but worked well for me. Love the cross body strap!

So much fun
I wore this as a coverup but (and I think anyone using RTR should invest in these items!!) it can be worn as a regular dress with nude underwear even though it is quite sheer. It's very fun and I enjoyed wearing it. I think the cinch waist is a little hard to tie with the heavy tassels. It is a little oversized so I would say go true to size or smaller if you want it to be tighter, but the comfy flow of the dress is what makes it magical to me

Loved this fun and flowy dress. I'm tall so it hit at a great length and was super loose throughout the day which is great when you're moving and running around. There is a slit, which makes it a little sexy. It's very sheer so I wore black shorts underneath. The only thing I didn't like was the half lining which made the size feel smaller than it is, and it clung awkwardly around my boobs. Like, I rented this dress for something loose and comfy but chic, and this weird half lining (that stops at the top of yours stomach for some reason?) was awkwardly strangling my boobs all day. Anyway, it was bareable and I liked the dress otherwise.

Too small in the chest
I agree with the other reviewer who wrote that the dress has a slip lining inside that fits tightly, and then a very loose silhouette otherwise. I managed to sneak into that slip, but it wasn't very comfy. However, I could not get the top to zipper around my chest—I'm a 14 body but definitely a 16 in the chest. A bummer since the dress itself is gorgeous, high quality, and very flattering!

I wore this without spanx which was kind of a regret but I found that the thicker fabric of this dress definitely helped smooth things out. Felt very fun and sexy, but I would suggest a shoe that isn't flip flops like in the picture with the model. Definitely a favorite, would rent again for a date night or event!!

I wanted to wear this to work but since I am tall and full-figured, it was just a little too uncomfortable. It looked very cool on with the jumpsuit and the "swishy" parts together. Definitely something you could take from the office to drinks very easily.

How will I ever give this back??
It's hard for me to imagine a body type that would not look amazing in this dress. It's forgiving but sexy and the straps are thick enough that you can even wear a normal bra if you need some extra support. I have a large bust and it was perfect for me. Lots of compliments even though I dressed it down with sandals. It's cut straight but the slits add some flow if you have a stomach so it's not totally tight just a very smooth silhouette. I'm crushed that I have to give this back and I absolutely didn't expect to feel this way!

Beautiful dress but not for me!
This dress was gorgeous but unfortunately it didn't fit. I was hoping the XLR would fit because the reviews say it runs large and has room in the bust, which is exactly what I need. Unfortunately, I couldn't manage to zip it up! However, it did fit my chest perfectly, so this is a great dress if your shoulders are just a little more narrow but have big boobs. The rest of the dress is flowy and amazing, I am 5'10" and it just hit the ground on me. Wish it fit!!

Cute but didn't wear
I'm normally a size 14 but read that this runs large, so I figured I would give it a try. It definitely fits and because I'm larger chested, I didn't have a problem with the sleeves being too large like other reviews. I opted not to wear this dress because it felt too formal for everyday (also fair) and because I didn't think the straight cut did anything flattering for my figure (more hourglass). Quality was good even though this is definitely a popular item. I wish the designer would use this print on another cut of dress—it's very pretty and not overwhelming but still unique.

Would be great for work...
I rented this dress with the hopes to wear it over the weekend but ended up wearing it to work instead. It was VERY open in the top, and it's not adjustable (just looks like a wrap dress which is fine) so I needed to safety pin it. It was rather unflattering so I would have done this even if I wasn't wearing it in the office. I was not wild about the print or the colors in it but I didn't hate it—all of the coworkers commented on how nice it was. Would wear again in a different print but this felt very MEH.

True to size, kind of plain
I chose this dress because a different one from the designer became out of stock when I wanted to order it. I am normally a 14 but figured I would try to the 12. This dress runs true to size as it zipped on me but was tight in the waist and chest area- there is very little stretch in the waist band here. I could have made it work with spanx but it felt very plain and kind of like wearing a large red bandana. It also felt too covered up for me, especially in an NYC heatwave, and the sleeves and tea length make it feel a little matronly. I would try again in fall for a nice everyday dress with a heel and jean jacket.

Fancy!
This dress is beautiful but definitely prairie/nightgown-ish. I am curvy but this dress definitely made me look straight as a board. I rented it for fun with unlimited and it's too fancy for everyday. Very ruffly and I felt like i was tangled all day. I wore the top unbuttoned for a casual look but this very nice dress was a miss for me. Too formal for everyday, and the fit isn't something i would wear for a more formal occasion. I loved walking in it though- felt so glam!

Very fun
This dress was so fun and I got lots of compliments. I do wish I owned spanx to wear under it but it was pretty forgiving anyway. It had a looser fit which gave it a casual 70s vibe, still sexy but not tight. It is sweater material but wasn't too heavy for the summer. It did stretch every time I wore it though because it's a little heavy. The material also made me nervous but it only caught on a few things.

A muumuu that shows leg!
I loved wearing this dress! Yes there is extra fabric... it's a muumuu. It's super comfy. I'm a 14/16 and fit in the XL. The areas where there's crochet are see-through so I wore a nude bra and shorts. It also billows up in the wind. However, it's so cute, bright and festive for the summer. I got lots of compliments and I like that it's cut a little shorter than most muumuus so you can show a little leg. The hem is hi-lo (subtly) so no need to worry about your butt peeking out- you can move in this dress.

Fun print but get plain
I was excited bc this dress has a fun print and stellar reviews, but it fell flat for me. It actually felt very plain and modest, which was good for wearing to work and drinks, but it didn't wow me. I also felt that the waist of the dress was lower than my natural waist and I likely could have sized down (I was nervous because wrap dresses need to have a little extra coverage but I actually felt more nervous swimming in fabric.)

Not for the faint hearted
This dress is weird because it's got a bright print and cotton fabric that is really more suited for daytime but the cut/neckline puts this in "night out" territory. I got a lot of compliments on the print and how flowy it is, it's really beautiful when walking (hit just the right length with flats on for me, 5'9-10"). Still, unless you are small in the chest, this dress shows a lot. The colors are unique, so it's hard to wear something underneath it. I wouldn't wear it again.

Perfect everyday dress
I loved this dress! The adjustable straps and stretchy top were a hit for me. I also loved the fun print. Felt a little bad using RTR for this pick as the price point is low enough that I would likely just buy it instead but great to try this brand. The fabric is nice quality and not too sheer, plus the thread in the top has a nice sheen to it. Loved wearing it around town on a Saturday.
